Hotel a 5 stelle in New York, Stati Uniti d'America

這裏應該是老酒店完全翻新的。房間非常漂亮，有格調，每一件物品都很講究，衞生間偏小，淋浴水量微小，可能是老的樓改的原因。不過值得一住。晚上樓下的酒吧看上去很不錯。房間的點餐口味很贊！而且快！有個小問題，前台押信用卡時，必須要帶芯片的。

Horrible experience with Service & Unnecessary charges a) After charging $40 + taxes, they give $30 free meal voucher every day. After Day-1 i realised it was more economical to not use the $30 voucher. Sounds strange but its very Interestingly structured. One orders an Avocado toast for $29 (within budget) from the in room menu.The guy delivers in 30mins with a bill of $52 of which its $29 of food, $10 of delivery charges and $13 of taxes totalling to $52. So 1st you are charged $40 as City charged and in lieu of that the coupon of $30 for food given to you even if u stuck to your understanding $30 you would have paid more than $52 means extra $22 It gets more interesting when they tell you, that you cant use this $30 for breakfast. This is like a Ponzi scheme. b) One of the rudest In-room dining call you will ever attend. I asked what is XXXXX, revert: you should read about it, this is not in my job profile, I only take orders. Fab experience 😍 c) I requested that since i was lactose intolerant could the hotel be kind to deliver 1/4 cup of Almond milk, just enough for a cup of tea. I am told that is possible and then a full cup of milk with $10 + taxes = $13 is charged for simple request of Almond milk. d) You are not eligible for even a single bottle of water in a so called 5star hotel or so. e) Servicing the room was not in list, had to go twice over to reception to ensure that room no is added to list of rooms to be serviced in the day. f) The Coffee machine wasnt working and one had to request for a simple electric kettle to warm water for tea/coffee. g) The Jet spray in the washroom commode was jammed and not working.

Nonostante avessi letto alcune recensioni negative online sui lunghi tempi di attesa per l'ascensore e sul rumore delle auto della polizia, ho deciso di provarlo per la posizione privilegiata. Dopo aver confrontato i prezzi su trip.com, sono riuscito a prenotare un hotel a un prezzo molto conveniente due settimane prima della mia partenza. L'hotel nel suo complesso è nuovo di zecca, proprio come le foto condivise da altri ospiti su Internet. Ci sono circa 60 camere per piano (in base alla disposizione dei numeri di camera lungo le scale), ma per fortuna non abbiamo sentito rumori frequenti da vicini o passanti come succederebbe in un hotel a Tokyo. Anche se occasionalmente si possono sentire le sirene delle auto della polizia in strada, o il rumore delle partite di calcio al ristorante all'ottavo piano e nella sala banchetti al di sotto del settimo piano, è generalmente molto silenzioso. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli. Il tavolino laterale della scrivania può essere estratto per formare un angolo di 90 gradi con il tavolo principale, aumentando lo spazio utilizzabile. Le bocchette dell'aria condizionata sono progettate accanto alla finestra e non soffiano direttamente sul letto, il che penso sia un ottimo vantaggio. Bisogna pagare un supplemento di 40 dollari al giorno per utilizzarlo nei ristoranti o per abbonarsi alla connessione wireless in camera (gli hotel non offrono il Wi-Fi gratuito come in Giappone, Corea del Sud o Taiwan). Non funzionava da Starbucks o al negozio di souvenir, quindi ci siamo limitati a bere qualcosa al bar dell'ottavo piano e ci siamo goduti la vista notturna delle pubblicità di Times Square. Abbiamo trovato un distributore automatico al settimo piano dove possiamo acquistare bevande e snack a qualsiasi ora.

L'hotel gode di un'ottima posizione. Consigliamo vivamente di salire sul rooftop per colazione o un drink, per ammirare la vista panoramica su Central Park a New York. Tuttavia, data la sua età, le camere e i corridoi risultano un po' inquietanti. Se scegliete una camera con vista sulla strada interna, vedrete il balcone della casa di fronte, quindi ricordatevi di chiudere le tende.

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria New York was exceptional in every way. From the moment I arrived, the service felt thoughtful, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member I interacted with was attentive without being intrusive, creating a sense of ease throughout my stay. The Deluxe Room was beautifully appointed—quiet, immaculate, and designed with a timeless elegance that reflects the hotel’s historic character. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room layout made it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. Common areas are stunningly restored, blending classic New York grandeur with modern comfort. Everything—from the lobby to the elevators—felt meticulously maintained. The location is unbeatable. Being in the heart of Midtown made it effortless to get to meetings, restaurants, and landmarks. Despite the central location, the hotel felt like a calm retreat from the city’s energy. Overall, my stay was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria to anyone seeking a luxurious and well‑run hotel in New York.

Ambiente: anche se l'hotel è vecchio, è relativamente pulito e la posizione è ottima. Central Park è al piano di sotto. Servizio: I camerieri sono molto cordiali ed entusiasti, sento che sono molto attivi nel loro lavoro e prenderanno l'iniziativa per salutare. Ci è stata data anche una bottiglia di champagne Trump, che era davvero deliziosa. Strutture: C'è una palestra e una piscina al piano di sotto, che sono molto buone. Ci sono poche persone C'è il Michelin Jean Georges accanto al primo piano. La reception dell'hotel può aiutare a effettuare le prenotazioni.

Molto conveniente posizione centrale, con distanza di passeggiata al parco centrale e piazza tempo. Equipaggiamento di metropolitana facile dall'hotel, con molte opzioni di cena. Noi noleggiammo Queen Suites al 30° piano. Ci hanno lasciato controllare in anticipo a 9AM e in ritardo a 1pm. L'hotel offre anche un servizio di turn-down nelle notti. L'atrio è molto di base senza piscina, ma il loro prezzo è molto ragionevole. In generale, consiglio molto.

L'hotel si trova vicino al fiume Hudson, è pulito e tranquillo. Upgrade a pagamento per camera con vista sul fiume, luminosa e spaziosa. Dopo un pasto molto abbondante al Chelsea Market, abbiamo camminato lungo il fiume per oltre 3 chilometri per tornare all'hotel. Il paesaggio lungo il percorso era meraviglioso. È molto vicino al World Trade Center e all'11 settembre, e anche Wall Street è raggiungibile in soli 10 minuti a piedi. Dopo aver fatto il check-in il giorno dopo, mi sono sentito molto sicuro e a mio agio e ho iniziato ad avere una buona impressione di New York. La prossima volta sarà la prima scelta.

The Ritz Central Park, what can I say? Everything is perfect especially when you tip every service person $10, better than the Plaza.
