Hotel a Tokyo con piscina

I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them. The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits. Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape. There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water. The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station. I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

Uno dei migliori hotel in cui abbia mai soggiornato. Inutile dire che il servizio è ad un livello che non si trova altrove. Posso apprezzare la serietà e l'iniziativa di ogni dipendente. Anche se la colazione non è ricca come quella dell'hotel resort, è comunque molto buona e consiste in buffet e ordinazione. Dalla sala colazione potrete ammirare una splendida vista sulla città.

Our family stay at Janu Tokyo was outstanding and thoughtfully designed for traveling with children while maintaining a high level of luxury. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely family-friendly. The staff were especially accommodating to our children, helping us feel comfortable and well cared for without ever feeling intrusive. Requests were handled promptly, and the overall hospitality felt polished yet relaxed. The facilities are world-class and particularly well suited for families. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and practical, offering enough room for both adults and children to unwind comfortably. Shared spaces, wellness areas, and amenities were impeccably maintained and easy to enjoy as a family. Dining was another highlight. The food quality was excellent, with options that worked well for both adults and children. The atmosphere across restaurants felt refined but welcoming, making family meals enjoyable rather than stressful. The location in Azabudai Hills is a major advantage for families—clean, modern, and less chaotic than some central Tokyo districts, while still being very convenient. Everything felt safe, accessible, and thoughtfully planned. Overall, Janu Tokyo delivers a rare combination of ultra-luxury and genuine family friendliness. It is an excellent choice for families seeking a sophisticated yet comfortable stay in Tokyo, and we would absolutely return.

This was my first time staying at The Peninsula Tokyo, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we began corresponding with the hotel before arrival, the team made it clear that this was going to be a special stay. I had reached out in advance as this was an important trip for our family, and the team – especially Ms. Kim – went above and beyond to help organise everything smoothly. Every detail was handled with care, and it really set the tone for our visit. Throughout our stay, every interaction made us feel genuinely welcome. The lobby team, the staff at Peter, and housekeeping were all consistently warm, professional, and attentive. Small gestures, friendly smiles, and a real willingness to help turned a simple hotel stay into a collection of memories we will cherish for a long time. This trip has made The Peninsula Tokyo our new fav stay in the city. There is a wonderful sense of warmth and hospitality here, and you feel that everyone is truly invested in making your stay as special as possible. We are already looking forward to returning on our next visit to Tokyo.

We booked Park Hyatt very last minute due to issue with our original hotel that we booked in Tokyo. We travelled with a 3 & 4 years old and the hotel was amazing. The playground across the hotel is a big plus. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome and the process was very seamlessly. We left the first hotel fairly early and knew we couldn't get into the room but our plan was to go through Shinjuku and knew we wouldn't be back until later that day. The hotel lobby is on the 41st floor, you can see the entire city view and at night the sight is amazing. The hotel location is about a 15min walk to Shinjuku station which is not bad and there is a shuttle that runs every 30min as well. Concierge was very helpful with everything during our stay. Breakfast service was professional and efficient. The staff were very friendly with kids and not snobbish at all. The hotel is an iconic place, most of the time we took a taxi or delivery they know the hotel by name. I highly recommend anyone that would like to pamper themselves in Tokyo. The hotel is a bit dated by the upkeep of the hotel is very good. Only thing that was a bit annoying was the light switches since it's not modern you can't control some lights individually.

Grande soggiorno breve. Le camere sono molto pulite e funzionali. Il servizio era grande e il colazione era buono con grande varietà. La posizione era grande come era vicino all'ufficio che ho visitato. Il servizio Business Concierge era amichevole e veloce.

Questa è stata la nostra seconda permanenza a Dai Ichi. Non possiamo mancare il servizio o la posizione. Le camere sono un po 'più vecchie e probabilmente è per questo che sono sul lato più spazioso degli hotel a Tokyo. La pulizia non era sempre perfetta. Quando andammo in camera, la piccola tovagliola dell’occupante precedente era appesa sul cima della doccia. C’erano alcuni crollamenti sotto il desk e la sedia e alcuni giorni alcune cose non erano incluse come le linee bin. Non molto, ma forse è stato fretta di pulire.

Il nostro primo viaggio a Tokyo con il nostro bambino di 5 anni 💕 Speravamo di trovare un posto da cui poter ammirare la Tokyo Tower dalla camera, sia di giorno che di notte, e visitarla a piedi, e questo hotel ha superato le nostre aspettative. Il mio bambino è rimasto entusiasta di vedere la Tokyo Tower proprio di fronte a sé, qualcosa che aveva visto solo nei libri. Il Parco Shiba e la Tokyo Tower sono vicinissimi. Gli interni sono puliti e l'hotel è ben attrezzato con servizi come bar, minimarket e ristorante. Tutto il personale è gentile e anche la colazione era deliziosa. Grazie per aver creato ricordi felici e meravigliosi per la nostra famiglia. ☺️

Il servizio è altamente ricco, in un ambiente tranquillo e tranquillo. Abbiamo prenotato l'appartamento di base n che hanno ancora riuscito a dare un bel abito con vista sul giardino del palazzo :)) Se c'era qualcosa di cui abbiamo bisogno per un soggiorno più lungo .... Sarebbe un più grande cassaforte per la comodità ! Ci ritroveremo :)
