Hotel con spa a Tokyo

I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them. The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits. Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape. There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water. The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station. I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

Uno dei migliori hotel in cui abbia mai soggiornato. Inutile dire che il servizio è ad un livello che non si trova altrove. Posso apprezzare la serietà e l'iniziativa di ogni dipendente. Anche se la colazione non è ricca come quella dell'hotel resort, è comunque molto buona e consiste in buffet e ordinazione. Dalla sala colazione potrete ammirare una splendida vista sulla città.

Our family stay at Janu Tokyo was outstanding and thoughtfully designed for traveling with children while maintaining a high level of luxury. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely family-friendly. The staff were especially accommodating to our children, helping us feel comfortable and well cared for without ever feeling intrusive. Requests were handled promptly, and the overall hospitality felt polished yet relaxed. The facilities are world-class and particularly well suited for families. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and practical, offering enough room for both adults and children to unwind comfortably. Shared spaces, wellness areas, and amenities were impeccably maintained and easy to enjoy as a family. Dining was another highlight. The food quality was excellent, with options that worked well for both adults and children. The atmosphere across restaurants felt refined but welcoming, making family meals enjoyable rather than stressful. The location in Azabudai Hills is a major advantage for families—clean, modern, and less chaotic than some central Tokyo districts, while still being very convenient. Everything felt safe, accessible, and thoughtfully planned. Overall, Janu Tokyo delivers a rare combination of ultra-luxury and genuine family friendliness. It is an excellent choice for families seeking a sophisticated yet comfortable stay in Tokyo, and we would absolutely return.

Questo è un hotel prezioso. Non voglio nemmeno raccomandarlo troppo, temo che l'hotel diventi sempre più popolare e diventerà sempre più difficile prenotare una camera in futuro. Non avevo grandi aspettative prima di trasferirmi, ma dopo l'arrivo tutto ha superato le aspettative. La stanza è molto bella e confortevole, con forniture Bulgari. Dalla finestra si vede il palazzo. La chiave è che il servizio è davvero buono e premuroso e ogni personale di servizio è gentile e professionale. Dopo aver soggiornato una notte, sono andato a sciare ad Appi. Quando sono tornato a Tokyo, ho prenotato un'altra notte senza esitazione. Il personale dell'hotel ha messo presto i miei bagagli depositati nella mia nuova stanza. La colazione dell'hotel è molto ricca e anche l'ambiente e l'atmosfera della colazione sono fantastici. È necessario fare colazione in hotel.

A luxury stay from the minute you check in to when you check out The staff were so attentive and made our stay so welcoming! My sister and I came and they gave us delicious complimentary birthday sweets - only draw back was that due to the location it may be a little noisy at night but that's the only negative. I would definitely stay here again - the pyjamas were also one of the best and comfiest whilst we were in Japan! :)

È stata la nostra prima permanenza all'Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport, come di solito ci siamo fermati all'Hotel Villa Fontaine adatto. L'hotel offre anche facile accesso alle principali aree commerciali di Tokyo, come Shibuya e Tokyo Station. Siamo sicuri che torneremo alla nostra prossima visita a Haneda!

Very clean, and the staff were helpful, polite and accommodating. It was very hot outside when we checked in and the staff offered to provide face towels and brought them quickly. The chandeliers in the lobby are stunning and hang above a very nice lounge. There is a great shuttle that takes you to and from Shinjuku station if you don't want to walk. There is also a smaller subway station under the hotel as well as a 7 Eleven and a FamilyMart. It is a few short blocks from a lively area but far enough that it is serene near the hotel. There is a lovely park right nearby that has a beautiful shrine also.

Everything was lovely. The only downside was that you had to pay a quite expensive fee to use the pool. Even when I explained that only my son would use it and that I wouldn’t actually go in, just sit and supervise him, they still told me I had to pay as well. It felt quite unreasonable, especially considering the hotel price, which should include access to the pool.

Good price for a capsule within walking distance of a JR station that reaches ikebukuro and Shinjuku pretty fast. Even has an onsen and sauna! Has a chill area to read manga and buy beer also. Staff also friendly and speaks English which is good to not get lost Only downside is the baggage area is quite messy and feels a bit dirty
