Service Excellence
The hotel's staff are very friendly and efficient, and are able to respond quickly to the special needs of guests. For example, I made several special requests, and the hotel team not only responded in a timely manner, but also made sure that each request was handled properly. This kind of attentive service makes one feel very welcome.
Excellent hygiene The cleanliness of the
hotel was satisfactory and no dust or stains were found in the rooms. The bed linen and bedding were changed one by one, and the bathroom was kept very clean with no water stains or other problems. This makes me feel very relieved about the hygiene management of the hotel.
Breakfast & Afternoon Tea The
hotel's breakfast buffet offers everything from hot porridge to fresh fruit to a variety of breads and cakes. In addition, the selection of afternoon tea is also very rich, providing guests with more choices.
Late night snacks and special arrangements The late night snacks provided by the
hotel were equally delicious, especially considering that my wife was not feeling well, and the hotel also arranged a special service to bring the late night snacks to the room. This kind of meticulous care is heartwarming.
Freebies
Pleasantly surprised, the hotel gave guests a bottle of precious preserved mushrooms as a souvenir when they checked out. This little gift not only reflects the hotel's intentions, but also adds to the extra pleasure of the stay.

UUtente ospiteNon posso assolutamente andare d'accordo con questo hotel. Dopo aver aspettato un'ora per il check-in, sono andato a negoziare e con riluttanza mi è stata assegnata una stanza. Posso sentire le motociclette ad alta frequenza nel cuore della notte? trattore? Oppure la stanza con il rumore dell'elicottero. L'addetto alla manutenzione è venuto a controllare e ha detto che c'era un problema di risonanza con l'attrezzatura all'ultimo piano. Quando si sentiva il rumore, l'intera stanza vibrava e non avevo altra scelta che trascinare i bagagli e cambiarmi camere a mezzanotte nel cuore della notte. Mi è stata assegnata una stanza più lontana dalla hall. La stanza all'estremità dell'area è accanto all'uscita di sicurezza che dice ”vietato l'ingresso durante i lavori” e si affaccia sul parcheggio di un altro hotel OK, l'ho tollerato e non c'era più rumore. Ma! Mentre stavamo facendo le valigie, abbiamo trovato un punto metallico sotto il cuscino. C'erano dei punti metallici sul letto! Fortunatamente nessuno è stato pugnalato. Chissà da dove viene o se qualcun altro l'ha visto. Ero completamente disgustato... Penso che dovrei cambiare la TV nella stanza. Ha uno schermo a forma di fiocco di neve e un suono sfrigolio . C'è un altro piccolo dettaglio che mostra che l'hotel è avaro. Mi sono trasferito qui dal Cuihu Hotel. Ci sono fiori di Phalaenopsis appena tagliati posti nel bagno e ci sono anche piante di Phalaenopsis in vaso nella stanza. .. Non importa. Check in, ma non c'è nulla di male se non c'è paragone. Dopotutto è un Intercontinental, ma non può essere paragonato agli hotel locali.
Ciò che merita un elogio è l'atteggiamento del servizio. Mi sono scusato attivamente per il cambio di camera e mi hanno dato frutta e piccoli dessert. Ma a cosa serve? ? Se non riesci a trovare il comfort, la pulizia e la sicurezza di base di un hotel, potrei anche soggiornare in un hotel per l'intera stagione.

UUtente ospiteHello everyone. We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2024. Initially, we booked the hotel for 5 days, then we extended, extended and in the end, we stayed there for 11 nights. The hotel is new, clean. The rooms have good quality robes, toiletries. We were quite satisfied with the breakfasts. We were pleased with the availability of freshly squeezed juices. The main staff does not speak English, but this is not a problem, since the on-line translator saves us, and the staff tries very hard to understand what you want from them. The only person who speaks excellent English was the manager Sam. A man passionate about his work. He told us a lot about the hotel and what is nearby. And there is a lot there: a park with playgrounds, a bungee jump, and a birdhouse with parrots. Sam showed us a place next to the hotel, which is a set for films. Boat station, where you can take a boat and take a walk on the lake and go straight to the hotel grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location, in a lowland, on the shore of the lake. If you plan a trip to Kunming, then it is far from the city. But we needed a quiet and beautiful place. And we got it. With the window open in the evenings and mornings you can hear the fish splashing in the lake and the ducks quacking. It was great to sleep, as the mattress and pillows are of excellent quality. We will definitely come back here and will recommend it to our friends.
P.S. Once again, we say a huge thank you to Sam, he not only told and showed us a lot about the hotel and the surrounding area, he also helped us solve some issues with our luggage at the airport. A wonderful, responsive person. The hotel management is very lucky to have such a person on their team.

UUtente ospiteVolevo un posto speciale per un po' di relax insieme. Non volevo provare il solito hotel in città. Dopo aver visto le foto, ho deciso di provarlo. E voilà... non mi sono assolutamente pentito di aver scelto questo hotel. Il servizio offerto è stato di prim'ordine, il personale è cordiale, cortese e puntuale. Il personale addetto alle pulizie pulisce sempre la villa a un livello tale che non ho avuto motivo di lamentarmi. Sono sempre disposti a fare il possibile per offrire servizi personalizzati agli ospiti. La villa che ho prenotato aveva una sorgente termale privata e un enorme giardino che, a mio parere, offriva la vista migliore. Ogni sera, potevamo ammirare il tramonto nel nostro giardino privato. Era davvero fuori dal mondo, le coppie devono assolutamente provarlo. Ogni giorno l'hotel offre un cesto di frutta e rifornisce il bancone del bar con bevande e snack gratuitamente. Il personale, sempre gentile (la signorina Lee), mi ha persino detto di farle sapere se desideravo della frutta, così avrebbe fatto in modo che la riempisse nel cesto. Mi ha anche chiesto più volte se poteva fare qualcosa per migliorare il mio soggiorno in hotel. Complimenti al team di gestione per aver instillato questo elevato standard di servizio. Il nostro soggiorno al Dian Lake Steigenberger Kunming è stato davvero memorabile. Tutto il personale della reception è stato eccezionalmente cordiale e accogliente, mentre il personale addetto alle pulizie è stato cordiale e premuroso. Si sono impegnati al massimo per decorare la nostra camera per il compleanno di mio marito e ci hanno persino inviato una bellissima e deliziosa torta di compleanno, un gesto che ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale.
La camera King con vista lago (45 m²) era spaziosa e ben arredata, con un letto e cuscini comodi. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato il balcone con vista sul lago, tranquillo e perfetto per rilassarsi.
Quando abbiamo fatto notare che l'aria condizionata centralizzata era un po' troppo calda, 军军 e Amy ci hanno subito offerto gratuitamente un'altra camera, completa di un telecomando individuale per regolare la temperatura. Questo livello di attenzione e flessibilità è stato davvero impressionante.
L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica, a pochi passi da diversi ristoranti, tra cui il KFC, e nelle immediate vicinanze si trova un 7-Eleven per una maggiore comodità. Anche la hall è imponente e arredata con gusto, dando una prima impressione di lusso.
Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chiunque visiti Kunming: offre comfort e un'ospitalità sincera.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed.
First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.
However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs.
The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options.
A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests.
A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level.
Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.
