Service Excellence
The hotel's staff are very friendly and efficient, and are able to respond quickly to the special needs of guests. For example, I made several special requests, and the hotel team not only responded in a timely manner, but also made sure that each request was handled properly. This kind of attentive service makes one feel very welcome.
Excellent hygiene The cleanliness of the
hotel was satisfactory and no dust or stains were found in the rooms. The bed linen and bedding were changed one by one, and the bathroom was kept very clean with no water stains or other problems. This makes me feel very relieved about the hygiene management of the hotel.
Breakfast & Afternoon Tea The
hotel's breakfast buffet offers everything from hot porridge to fresh fruit to a variety of breads and cakes. In addition, the selection of afternoon tea is also very rich, providing guests with more choices.
Late night snacks and special arrangements The late night snacks provided by the
hotel were equally delicious, especially considering that my wife was not feeling well, and the hotel also arranged a special service to bring the late night snacks to the room. This kind of meticulous care is heartwarming.
Freebies
Pleasantly surprised, the hotel gave guests a bottle of precious preserved mushrooms as a souvenir when they checked out. This little gift not only reflects the hotel's intentions, but also adds to the extra pleasure of the stay.
Overall Rating
Overall, the Papman stay was perfect. Whether it's the hygienic conditions, the quality of the service or the choice of food, it is very satisfying. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay.

Anche il direttore è stato molto efficiente molto premuroso e cordiale. L'hotel mi ha dato una sensazione calda.
Igiene: l'hotel è molto pulito e l'igiene della camera è a posto.
Ambiente: l'aria è buona e confortevole, l'ambiente circostante è bellissimo ed è comodo raggiungere i punti panoramici.

MMarc1The hotel is beautifully located by a serene, quiet lake, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing stay. It is particularly popular among families with children, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The breakfast is fantastic, especially if you go early in the morning when the food is freshly prepared. However, later in the day, the selection may not be as fresh.
While the staff does not speak English, navigating your stay is still manageable with some basic Chinese and the help of Google Translate—just as it is in many parts of China.
I highly recommend booking a room with a spa on the balcony. These rooms are located on the second floor, offering greater privacy and more outdoor space. The spa feature itself can be a bit tricky to use—you need to ensure the water level is just right, as too much or too little will prevent it from working properly.
Overall, the hotel is very clean, and the staff is accommodating and responsive to any requests. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent amenities, this is a great choice.

È vicino a vari minimarket e a 700 metri da un grande centro commerciale dove si possono trovare moltissime cose. Le camere erano spaziose e i servizi erano discreti. Ci tornerei volentieri.

WWeikaoLa camera era accogliente e la receptionist, Kit, molto cordiale. L'hotel si trova nel cuore del distretto di Xishan, rendendo lo shopping e i ristoranti molto comodi. La camera aveva anche un minibar gratuito, il che era complessivamente ottimo. Tutti i servizi sono comodamente situati al 20° piano, tra cui una palestra e una piscina. Ci tornerei sicuramente. Il nostro soggiorno al Dian Lake Steigenberger Kunming è stato davvero memorabile. Tutto il personale della reception è stato eccezionalmente cordiale e accogliente, mentre il personale addetto alle pulizie è stato cordiale e premuroso. Si sono impegnati al massimo per decorare la nostra camera per il compleanno di mio marito e ci hanno persino inviato una bellissima e deliziosa torta di compleanno, un gesto che ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale.
La camera King con vista lago (45 m²) era spaziosa e ben arredata, con un letto e cuscini comodi. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato il balcone con vista sul lago, tranquillo e perfetto per rilassarsi.
Quando abbiamo fatto notare che l'aria condizionata centralizzata era un po' troppo calda, 军军 e Amy ci hanno subito offerto gratuitamente un'altra camera, completa di un telecomando individuale per regolare la temperatura. Questo livello di attenzione e flessibilità è stato davvero impressionante.
L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica, a pochi passi da diversi ristoranti, tra cui il KFC, e nelle immediate vicinanze si trova un 7-Eleven per una maggiore comodità. Anche la hall è imponente e arredata con gusto, dando una prima impressione di lusso.
Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chiunque visiti Kunming: offre comfort e un'ospitalità sincera.

NNijmanWe stayed at the Walma Realm for an overnight stay. The location was convenient for our further travel plans. As we arrived late in the evening and left late at night I m not able to say much about the environment. The room was very comfortable and had a good night sleep. Breakfast was plentiful with many options to choose from. I can recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in this part of Kunming.

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed.
First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.
However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs.
The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options.
A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests.
A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level.
Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

There were plenty of shops and eateries all around, making it a joy to explore Kunming on foot. Everything was incredibly accessuble and we truly enjoyed our stay here.
