Ostelli a Kunming

Not really a youth hostel but someone's high rise flat filled with beds on 7th floor. Excellent location near to railway station but difficult to find on the map and you need to ring the owner who doesn't speak English. I've added the photo of the entrance doorway and amended map but you still need to ring the owner to get access. Cramped, only one bathroom for a lot of people, but kitchen with kettle and living area, good budget accommodation for a night, I wouldn't stay here longer.

I stayed in a private room here and it was great. The room was quiet, clean & comfy. Special mention goes to the AMAZING view out the window as the hostel is on the 23rd floor! And the private room has a terrace/balcony thing. The communal area was very spacious and lots of desk space and sofas and stuff. Washing facilities too but I didn't use them! There is a refillable drinking water station - hot and cold water. Great location - 10 minute walk to the very bustling street food market! About a ten minute walk to the nearest metro station. My only gripe was the bathrooms - or lack thereof. There were only 2 bathrooms which were shower/toilet combos, which for a pretty well attended hostel means a fair bit of waiting around to use them. You have to be tactical about when you go! And because they were communal they weren't super clean, but I guess that is to be expected - just something to be aware of if you're squeamish. There's plenty of slippers to be had (in fact, outdoor shoes aren't allowed in the hostel at all!)

I like the way these hostels are . A lot of them are apartments turned into hostels. The principle is good and cheap. However, if full, it would be a problem shower and toilet as normally they only have one bathroom 🚻 and no separate toilet, no private rooms as dorm rooms are more profitable so all in all that is why I gave average in my assessment

La sera, il direttore ci ha anche aiutato a pianificare la strada per il villaggio nazionale, a raccomandare cibo di terra, e anche da dove uscire dal villaggio nazionale hanno fatto un'attaccatura dettagliata, particolarmente intima.Questa volta, la mia casa pioggia è molto felice. Abbiamo giocato da Guizhou a Yunnan. La notte scorsa c'era un hotel a cinque stelle nel centro della città, ma, per essere onesti, non ho goduto di questo servizio in un hotel a cinque stelle.In confronto, questo è un supermercato! Così buon servizio e ambiente, penso davvero che meritino un migliore rimborso.Se avete una possibilità, saremo di nuovo e consigliamo fortemente ai nostri amici.

It is our own fault but we did not realise that this was so far out of the city and at the entrance gate of a cultural Stockade. The host was helpful but there was a bit of an odour from the bathroom.  if your purpose to stay here is to see the cultural stock then this would be a good location but there are no restaurants nearby.  There was a nice view from our window of the lake and some beautiful traditional architecture to walk around and see in the area. 

Ho soggiornato in questo ostello durante uno scalo a Kunming. L'edificio in cui si trova è vicino alla fermata dell'autobus, nello stesso palazzo di un KFC e di un Luckin Coffee, e nelle vicinanze c'è un grande centro commerciale, quindi la posizione è ottima. Una volta trovato l'edificio, bisogna girare sul lato e cercare l'ascensore contrassegnato con la lettera A1. Il personale della reception è stato gentile e parlava inglese. Forniscono persino asciugamani usa e getta, carta igienica e lenzuola pulite. La camera e il letto erano puliti. Una cosa che potrebbe sorprendere i giapponesi è la doccia. La doccia si trova direttamente sopra il WC, quindi è meglio fare la doccia prima che qualcuno usi il bagno. Il WC e la doccia erano puliti. La lavatrice è gratuita, il che è un bel vantaggio.

Shuyun Youth Hostel (Kunming Railway Station Store) è una buona scelta per i viaggiatori che cercano alloggi economici vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, offrendo un conveniente accesso a diversi destinazioni a Kunming. Sebbene manchi di lussuosi servizi, fornisce conforto e buon valore per il prezzo.

The lady who owns this place is lovely!!! As I was arriving at KMG airport at 2 in the morning, she woke up when a kind fellow Chinese called her on my behalf, and she came downstairs to pick me up and helped me with my heavy luggage. She's so kind and the room is so cute, that I decided I'd extend my stay here for almost a week!!! Feels like home. Some of the kids who live here longer are amazing and very helpful as well!!! I really enjoyed my stay

Anche se sai già che questo hotel è pessimo, ma vuoi comunque comprarlo perché sei povero, ti prego, arricchisciti un po' di più per comprare un hotel migliore. Questo hotel è orribile. Odore di sigarette, umido, stantio molto forte. Cerniere. Molte zanzare. Il pavimento è molto sporco. Siamo rimasti seduti solo per 3 ore. Volevo uscire velocemente perché era così soffocante essere lì. Ti meriti un hotel migliore.
