Ottimo albergo! La posizione è comoda, proprio accanto alla stazione di Kyoto. Molti banconi parlano cinese, giapponese e inglese, la comunicazione è semplice e il servizio è buono. La camera è grande (rispetto ai normali hotel giapponesi), le valigie possono essere sp**** , l'arredamento è moderno, le strutture sono complete e il bagno è asciutto, il bagno è separato e pulito in modo tempestivo, c'è anche una vasca termale gratuita all'ultimo piano, che è molto rilassante e allevia lo stress ~ Lo consiglio vivamente; questo hotel se viaggi a Kyoto!

We recently spent 4 nights here and had a great experience overall. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel's central location is very convenient, providing easy access to Kyoto's popular attractions. Although the room is a bit small, it’s was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. One of the standout features of this hotel is its stunning rooftop terrace overlooking the city, which was our favorite spot to unwind and relax at the end of each day. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Sora Niwa Terrace Kyoto to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Ambiente/strutture circostanti: Quando esci dall'hotel, gira a destra e di notte ci sono molti izakaya; Prosegui dritto attraversando la strada sul lato destro e troverai Komeda's Coffee. Uscire dalla stazione JR, di fronte all'hotel, sul lato destro ci sono il 711, una panetteria, un negozio Daifuku e un centro commerciale (non grande, con ristoranti); A sinistra ci sono Mos Burger, Coffee Bakery e Yayoiken. Trasporti nelle vicinanze: Oltre alla JR e alla metropolitana, ci sono anche molte linee di autobus. Il Komeda's Coffee è a pochi passi dalla fermata dell'autobus, in direzione Shijo/Stazione di Kyoto/Tempio Kyomizudera. Si prega di consultare i segnali di stop per percorsi specifici. Nella hall vengono forniti caffè, matcha, bibite gassate gratuiti, ecc. C'è una sala fumatori e un forno a microonde al primo piano. C'è un grande stabilimento balneare e la sala TV mostra la situazione di affollamento nello stabilimento balneare. Per i bagni femminili è necessario chiedere alla reception una chiave magnetica per entrare. La camera è grande, la biancheria da letto è comoda e la pressione dell'acqua della doccia è sufficiente. Nel complesso pulito e ordinato. Le linee guida e le presentazioni dell'hotel sono molto dettagliate. Il personale è giovane e cordiale e può comunicare in inglese. Likes: - Its in a great location. Next to the river where its a real delight to hangout down on the banks in the evening. Pontocho street is very charming to walk down. - The showerhead is excellent. - The rooms are bigger than in other hotels in Japan. - a delicious Japanese style breakfast. Dislikes: - None

Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto was truly memorable. The service was outstanding, with staff who were not only professional but also warm and attentive to every detail. The room was spacious, clean, and elegantly designed, reflecting the serene atmosphere of Kyoto. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch, and the welcome cookies added a delightful touch to the experience. Its location offered easy access to Kyoto’s cultural landmarks while still providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Highly recommend for a perfect balance of comfort and excellent service in Kyoto!

It’s near the subway station, walking distance. With 7-11 in front and Starbucks nearby. Nearby McDonalds also. Very clean room, good water pressure, good heater, with clean towels, BUT no drinking water provided. Good room size, we were 3 adults (family), with small table for coffee drinking, eating snacks. With 2 packets of green tea BUT no coffee.

Public onsen rooms were great, and even the private ones, while small, had their own unique charm. Although a timer on their usage would be good as well, so people don't have to wait too long. The ryokan itself has a pleasantly old-fashoned style, and the design and furniture of the rooms reflect that - but in some cases, a bit of renovation here and there would be welcome. Our room also didn't have any curtains, only an old-fashioned paper sliding one. Which meant the room was bright as midday from 6am. Maybe too old-school for our tastes! We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, both in kaiseki style. Really nice presentation, but the taste itself was nothing special. As well, the hotel was very busy and the staff kept reminding us we have a set amount to time before we need to finish our meals - definitely not a relaxing atmosphere, where you could enjoy each bite. But they did offer a late-night ramen, great for people finishing up in the onsen.

幸運入住了大名鼎鼎的京都柏悦701，大堂辦理入住時候服務人員全程跪式服務，可以同時享用清酒香檳等，正巧遇上5點的古琴演奏，整個辦理入住體驗絲滑並且感官飽滿。當進入房間服務人員打開窗的那一刻，就算之前刷過多少視頻都會為實地的畫面陶醉。入住期間，看盡了古塔紅葉甚至還有清晨的彩虹，如詩如畫。 房間備品等和全球其他柏悦基本保持一致，無功無過。第二天的早餐因為之前嘗試過京大和的早餐覺得平平無奇所以這次選擇了西式，自助部分有中式包子和粽子，還挺地道，點餐的菜品也有驚艷的部分，烏冬面很好吃。早餐地點可以看到二年阪的人來人往，甚至感覺自己就是街道的一部分。 小小的一點吐槽是：701房間下方好像是供熱系統的排氣口，秋冬季節一直會有斷斷續續的白煙飄過，煙大的時候還影響觀景體驗，如果想拍照出片要等一會兒。希望酒店之後可以調整。

We loved our stay at Hotel the Mitsui. Super nice and zen design . Absolutely adore their lobby area, which I think is designed by Andre Fu. Always drawn into his work somehow. Breakfast food was okay, but the view really made up everything l. Super relaxing & beautiful Service was great. Most of them were able to speak English proficiently. There’s a thermal spring at their basement, which you have to call the reception before you go to ensure there’s enough space. Everything was well prepared, including swimwear, disposable underpants, towels, water, etc. Since they control the # of people, everyone has their own space and it still feels very private. Room is nice with many details. Love their huge selection of pillows available for guests. It’s not huge, but the space is well used. Location wise, I wouldn’t say it’s the most convenient, but if you take a cab, everything is reachable in 20 mins max, so it’s not too bad. There are still good restaurants and touristy places to go that are in walkable distance, so it’s not middle of nowhere. Overall, fantastic experience which I will recommend for others!

Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard. However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements: 1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue. 2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition. 3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience. 4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated. 5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space. 6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering. In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction. If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto.
