Manila: hotel con bar

La camera era molto spaziosa, il personale molto cordiale e le nostre domande sono state prontamente esaudite. Consiglio vivamente al mio amico di soggiornare in hotel. Ritornerò sicuramente per soggiornare all'hotel New Coast Manila nel mio prossimo viaggio nelle Filippine. Solo un piccolo commento, il letto e il lenzuolo sembrano un po' abusati e posso suggerire di prendere un nuovo set. Grazie

Il ricevitore che mi ha aiutato durante il check-in è stato molto amichevole e accogliente. Apprezzo l'aggiornamento alla mia stanza che non mi aspettavo. Tutti i membri del personale sono carini. Il buffet del colazione è anche buono. C'è un minibar all'interno della stanza e il prezzo per i prodotti sono ragionevoli. È stato davvero piacevole il mio soggiorno. Ho fortemente raccomandato questo posto.

Great hotel for it's price. Get the Tower Wing which is newer and renovated. Can tell the staff really go the distance where they can and it's like a localized Shangri La of sorts. Just one bug bear else it would've been 5 stars all the way. The hotel seems to be really, really rigid and they have some weird policies. Me and the wife like to call in call masseurs after a long day from a reputable company in Manila (the masseurs are properly uniformed etc). We informed the front desk that would be doing so. But were told ”any guests staying over after 10pm will get an extra guest charge” I reiterated like 4 or 5 times that these were masseurs and they would be gone 90 mins after they finished. They were not staying. I called the masseurs anyway. As expected they were stopped downstairs. I had to come down in my sleepwear and explain to the female receptionist on Duty (11 Nov 2023 around 11pm) the same explanation above. She called probably her boss then told me in a very condescending tone ”I will give you an exception ONLY ONCE. next time you will be charged an extra guest charge” I disputed again that they are not guests. She showed me a policy document I had signed upon checking in that said ”any guests or visitors STAYING in the hotel after 10pm are subject to the guest charge.” I reiterated, they are masseurs, they are not STAYING. She rolled her eyes at me and ignored me. Really shocking and it really took away everything else we loved about this hotel. I couldn't bear to give 1 star as everyone else worked really hard. Another weird thing if you in the morning buffet their staff will pick the food for you and they seem to be a little bit weird and stingy for example when you're asking for vegetables they will give you one piece of broccoli . You have to literally ask multiple times if you want like three or four pieces of broccoli or cauliflower. I presume this is done for hygiene purposes but they could maybe start by asking ”more or less”? The morning Buffet goes from 7am to 10am and is a really amazing spread. They told me ”last call is at 9am” which means you can't enter after 9am despite it ending 1 hour later. I guess this is due to the large crowds

This hotel is adequate, but slightly overpriced vs. competition. While they have updated the lobby in recent years, from what I can tell there has been little effort to update guest rooms, which are dated vs. other 5 star properties like the Westin. The one differentiating factor this hotel previously had was a great breakfast buffet served in the Pacific Lounge on the 21st floor with floor to ceiling windows that gave a sweeping view of the skyline and the bay. It was carpeted with cushioned club chairs and those soft surfaces absorbed noise and the overall experience was a great way to start your day compared to the crowded and loud breakfast buffets at other 5 star hotels. Well someone decided to spend a lot of money to destroy that experience. They have opened a new restaurant on the first floor that is loud, crowded and gives you a view of 7-11 across the street instead of the bay. I spoke to the GM about this, so he already knows my opinion, but what continues to strike me is his point that the Pacific Lounge is “a premium space” - yes Sir, that’s true and previously it was one that virtually all your guests got to enjoy which is exactly why it was THE difference maker for this hotel. I came back thru Manila for a night on May 15 and was going to try the Sheraton one more time, but it was fully booked. Instead I stayed at the Westin for less money. There was no comparison- the Westin’s rooms have a much higher end finish, their food was better, and the service there was far superior like being provided a welcome drink and the Manager sending fruit to my room with a welcome note. The Sheraton Manila Bay is no longer on par with Manila’s best hotels

Location wise, super accessible to restaurants. Near a church and near to nearby tourist spot. The room is bigger than usual. There's a workspace where you can do your work properly. The comfort room is also big which I like since the bathtub is separate from the shower.

Ora è un hotel piuttosto vecchio, più l'estremità inferiore di un quattro stelle che un cinque. Ma la sua posizione è imbattibile e la cura e le buone maniere del suo personale sono impeccabili. Le strutture, in particolare la piscina, sono un po' logore. So che alcuni degli hotel sono stati sottoposti a lavori di ristrutturazione e ristrutturazione, e questo è buono a sapersi. Inoltre ci sono molte lavanderie in quest'arera, quindi puoi risparmiare un pacchetto se vuoi fare il bucato da solo. . .

The hotel service is superb. No problem there. Swimming pool is a joke. It's not even inside the hotel. It's next to the stage and appears to have been the old place where they held their sea lions. Ginawang pool lng. The rooms are average. Biggest problem is that it hasn't decided if it's a room for kids and family or a honeymoon suite. The shower even when the door is closed leaks a lot of water so the entire bathroom is wet. The most disappointing is the actual Ocean Park. Limited animals and attractions. The show itself is limited to birds and 2 sea lions who do a few tricks for snacks. OK naman un show but the mere fact that they let their audience burn in the hot summer sun for 30min and the show is merely that is severely disappointing. They can't even pay for a good tent cover.

Io sono un bel posto nel mezzo della città piena. Pulizia e confortevole. Porta balcone bloccata. Rumore ambientale stradale dietro la finestra. Nessuna vista di interesse reale. Piscina a lattice, piscina da bagno e un caldo jacuzzi fuori.

An unmined gem. Elegant old-world interiors with checkerboard floors in the lobbies and hallways, intricate wrought-iron railings, and beautiful Spanish tiles and brocade wallpaper in the suites. Some common areas, like the central courtyard, need a little TLC but are quietly lovely with trailing flowers and birds chirping above. The pool is a good size, not overly large, but with a great bay view. Parking is adequate for guests though might be a struggle if there is an event in the 1000-person ballroom. We had a gorgeous, comfortable corner suite with windows overlooking the bay on one side and the park on the other side. The giant king bed was luxurious and a delight to sleep on, and the huge bathtub was a treat for the kids. The hotel cafe has a delicious breakfast buffet featuring different regional dishes, and there is also a rooftop restaurant and bar with a perfect panorama for cocktails paired with the famous Manila Bay sunset. There are some quirky policies though, like the need to pay on the spot for ala carte orders rather than charging them to your room. Also because this is an old building, there is kind of a split floor plan where the hotel has two wings. Each wing has its own suites but only one has direct access to the poolside and spa, so if you're in the other one, you need to pass thru the lobby and transfer elevators to get there. It wasn't a dealbreaker for us, but is something to consider when you book. The best part though was the service. Every person was warm and gracious, and a real pleasure to deal with. Rushdee at the front desk and Prince at the roofdeck took exceptional care of our family during our stay. It is also walking distance to family attractions like the Manila Ocean Park, Museo Pambata, and of course Rizal Park. All in all a memorable and wonderful place to stay in the city of Manila.

Je suis descendu à StayMalate. Pas besoin d'aller chercher ailleurs, c'est le meilleur rapport qualité/prix. J'avais prit une chambre simple qui donnait sur Adriatico street. Le rooftop est super sympa, vous pouvez manger un poulet au curry avec du riz pour 3 ou 4 euros ou autres plats. Vous pouvez aussi vous faire à manger mais vu le prix des plats préparés, c'est dommage de manger des pâtes en platre trop cuites comme les français que j'ai vu dernièrement. Les toilettes partout sont très propres et la salle de bain aussi, nettoyés tous les jours. Point de vu sécurité, aucun problème, veilleur de nuit, caméra partout et hôtel bien fréquenté, c'est important de pouvoir laisser ses affaires dans sa chambres sans angoisse et ascenseur dans l'immeuble. Le patron ainsi que les employés sont tous sans exception très gentils, aimables, et répondent à toutes vos questions. Les arrêts des Jeepney sont en bas de la rue et vous ameneront partout dans Manille, et des 7/Eleven partout. Pour les sensibles au bruit, prevoir des boules Quies car il y a du bruit la nuit dans la rue, mais c'est partout pareil ou prendre un lit qui donne pas sur la rue. Autre point positif, un très grand centre commercial ”Robinson” à 500 mètres où il y a de tout autant en nourriture que des magasins comme H&M, Samsung, restaurants... I had taken a single room which overlooked Adriatico street. The rooftop is super nice, you can eat chicken curry with rice for 3 or 4 euros or other dishes. You can also cook your own food, but given the price of prepared meals, it's a shame to eat overcooked plaster pasta like the French ones I've seen lately. The toilets everywhere are very clean and the bathroom too, cleaned daily. Security point of view, no problem, night watchman, camera everywhere and well attended hotel, it is important to be able to leave your belongings in your rooms without anxiety and lift in the building. The boss and the employees are all without exception very nice, friendly, and answer all your questions. Jeepney stops are down the street and will take you anywhere in Manila, and 7/Elevens everywhere. For those sensitive to noise, provide earplugs because there is noise at night in the street, but it's the same everywhere or take a bed that doesn't face the street. Another positive point, a very large ”Robinson” shopping center 500 meters away where there is just as much food as stores like H&M, Samsung, restaurants...
