Sheraton Manila Bay

Manila Bay Manila|0.43km dal Royal Plaza Twin Towers

Ultima prenotazione 14 ora/e fa

This hotel is adequate, but slightly overpriced vs. competition. While they have updated the lobby in recent years, from what I can tell there has been little effort to update guest rooms, which are dated vs. other 5 star properties like the Westin. The one differentiating factor this hotel previously had was a great breakfast buffet served in the Pacific Lounge on the 21st floor with floor to ceiling windows that gave a sweeping view of the skyline and the bay. It was carpeted with cushioned club chairs and those soft surfaces absorbed noise and the overall experience was a great way to start your day compared to the crowded and loud breakfast buffets at other 5 star hotels. Well someone decided to spend a lot of money to destroy that experience. They have opened a new restaurant on the first floor that is loud, crowded and gives you a view of 7-11 across the street instead of the bay. I spoke to the GM about this, so he already knows my opinion, but what continues to strike me is his point that the Pacific Lounge is “a premium space” - yes Sir, that’s true and previously it was one that virtually all your guests got to enjoy which is exactly why it was THE difference maker for this hotel. I came back thru Manila for a night on May 15 and was going to try the Sheraton one more time, but it was fully booked. Instead I stayed at the Westin for less money. There was no comparison- the Westin’s rooms have a much higher end finish, their food was better, and the service there was far superior like being provided a welcome drink and the Manager sending fruit to my room with a welcome note. The Sheraton Manila Bay is no longer on par with Manila’s best hotels

Stay Malate (Wanderers Guest House)

Malate Manila|0.25km dal Royal Plaza Twin Towers

Ultima prenotazione 13 ora/e fa

Je vous ai noté l'adresse email : staymalate1@yahoo.com I stayed at StayMalate. No need to look elsewhere, it's the best value for money. I had taken a single room which overlooked Adriatico street. The rooftop is super nice, you can eat chicken curry with rice for 3 or 4 euros or other dishes. You can also cook your own food, but given the price of prepared meals, it's a shame to eat overcooked plaster pasta like the French ones I've seen lately. The toilets everywhere are very clean and the bathroom too, cleaned daily. Security point of view, no problem, night watchman, camera everywhere and well attended hotel, it is important to be able to leave your belongings in your rooms without anxiety and lift in the building. The boss and the employees are all without exception very nice, friendly, and answer all your questions. Jeepney stops are down the street and will take you anywhere in Manila, and 7/Elevens everywhere. For those sensitive to noise, provide earplugs because there is noise at night in the street, but it's the same everywhere or take a bed that doesn't face the street. Another positive point, a very large ”Robinson” shopping center 500 meters away where there is just as much food as stores like H&M, Samsung, restaurants... So, for me, no hesitation, even the cat is nice 👍 . I noted you the email address: staymalate1@yahoo.com

Adriatico Arms Hotel

Malate Manila|0.26km dal Royal Plaza Twin Towers
Adriatico Arms is a wonderful haven for those who need a relatively budget-friendly stay that places you in close proximity to major food spots, a mall, and Luneta Park. I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights and I must say that I loved my stay. They gave me Room 204, which was just beside the 2nd floor landing. The room is relatively small, but spacious enough. I booked a Double Room, and it had a great hot/cold shower, a television set with HDMI and USB ports (great for casting your streaming videos from a phone). It also had a couple of arm chairs and a small round wooden table (which I used for my work laptop). Bathroom has no fan vent so best buy a deodorizer spray to keep it smelling nice. The room was clean. Nothing fancy, nothing frivolous, but it definitely served its purpose. Air-conditioning is great too. The hotel exudes a very rustic, homey feel. Dark wood definitely dominates the design, and reminds me in a way of some old Spanish stores and hotels. Again, simple. No frills. And I love it! No lift/elevator between floors, but the climb is so short so it's not an issue. Plus the staff are there to help, despite the pandemic climate (reduced manpower). Staff is very courteous! And while there is no regular housekeeping staff at night (reducer manpower during the pandemic), the front desk person is very accommodating with our questions. Internet connectivity is great. Not the best, for sure, but works well for the purpose I needed it for (I am able to stream movies and Netflix with almost no interruption). The hotel had a café on the ground floor and you'll see this once you enter the main door. Wasn't able to try and sample the dining experience as I am working at night and asleep for most of the day. I had my food delivered via the Grab app, and was only required to pick my delivery up from the first floor. There's a 7'11 store nearby where I got my water and snacks from. As always, I always recommend buying a spray can of lysol from the convenience store to just give the room a spray - especially your bed, regardless of what hotel you book in. This gives you extra peace of mind. Being smack right in the busy city of Manila, there's definitely a lot of street noise. Was pleased to be given a room towards the back of the hotel so there's less of that, but it's not an issue for me as I knew that I'm booking a city hotel and noise reduction will be almost impossible with such a small property. Overall, I LOVED my stay. This hotel is perfect for someone who is independent and has simple needs. Thank you to the staff who made my stay very pleasant and respected my need for privacy and to not be disturbed for anything.

La posizione è buona ma zona rumorosa. Se vuoi esplorare la cultura gastronomica coreana, questo è il posto perfetto.

L'hop Inn è un posto perfetto per la mia transazione. È solo molto accessibile. Molto hotel pulito. Mi riposo bene dopo il mio stressante giorno. E molti ristoranti intorno all'angolo.
