Ma sicuramente l'intera area sono un po' costosi. 9000 yen più 18% tariffe. Se non hai una scelta, questo è accettabile. O puoi scegliere di mangiare presto nella zona di partenza. Primavera calda: all'aperto e all'interno. Molto bello ambiente, ma paghi 2000 per uso. In generale, questa zona è molto costosa. Ma se siete qui per raffreddare questo dovrebbe essere bello, ma con i ragazzi direi che preferiscono vivere a Tokyo come un hotel economico, non questo. Non apprezzeranno affatto questo. Super convenient next to JR Nagano station. Hotel check in was fast and they managed to lend me a sewing kit and a small screw driver for me to open my toy to change batteries. Breakfast selection wasn’t that great with as it had few muslim friendly options. Room was big. Laundry service had to be booked in advance and we didn’t know so couldn’t do our laundry. The TV had a screen to show the amount of time remaining for the laundry machines. There was a free water dispenser but only at hotel lobby. For convenience to train station and easy access to snow monkey bus, it was still an awesome experience for us.

We chose this hotel by location first of all, because we arrived around midnight at Nagano station. The hotel is very close to it. There was convenient check-in and check-out automatic system. The facilities of the room were great - private bathroom and a toilet, and also pajamas. The room is very small, but it is totally sufficient for a trip.

Erano solo le cinque del pomeriggio passate quando arrivammo alla stazione di Nagano, ma era già buio. I tre presero le valigie e si diressero verso l'Hotel Chigo a Nagano. Uscirono dalla stazione e si diressero verso la strada principale, hanno superato il semaforo e sono stati poi guidati fino a un tratto della strada che porta al parcheggio. Immagino che sia a causa della camera familiare? L'hotel è in realtà vicino ai binari del treno e di notte puoi sentire il passaggio dei treni. Se la camera è per due persone le dimensioni vanno bene, ma nella camera da tre persone si aggiunge un divano letto e lo spazio diventa angusto. Non è la separazione tra umido e secco. Quando sono tornato in hotel per ritirare i bagagli durante il giorno, ho attraversato di nuovo la stradina e ho girato a destra dalla stradina accanto a Muji, erano solo 5 minuti a piedi fino all'hotel. Excellent new hotel, very well furnished and decorated rooms. Shoes off as soon as you enter the hotel. They even have a cleaning machine at the entrance to clean the wheels of your luggage. We had an amazing 2 nights stay here! Located about 5 minutes short walk from the train station, there were a convenience store and small supermarket directly across the hotel. We weren't expecting much when we booked as the photos look dated and it was a last minute trip but oh mine, we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The room was large and although it was the old room, it had a certain charmimg character to it that we love. The bathroom was also big, clean and had a lovely large bathtub. I love the full range of toiletries they provided and was hoping to buy it in Tokyo to bring home but I couldn't. There was a common area on the second floor where water, juice and coffee were provided and we bought our own sake in the evening and sat there. We spent two peaceful evenings here after dinner and it was lovely. Our only complaint was the bed was rather soft and the pillows were flat. But we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Karuizawa.

This hotel is a bit remote to those not driving . But the rate is very reasonable and by taxi is short distance to everywhere near train and outlet for shopping n food . The hotel restaurant for dinner is very good with live music and cost is very reasonable with good service . But you need to do reservation in advance . There is a big supermarket a few steps away that you could buy fresh produce to cook simple meal in your room’s kitchen . The public pool is sufficient and cleanliness is fair . Overall a value for money hotel .

The hotel surpassed our expectations. Clean modern room, thoughtful in design & provisions. First hotel we stayed at that offers a curling iron & straightener in addition to a hair dryer! Loved how they provided a charging cable too, very thoughtful room amenities.  Staff spoke good English at reception & restaurant was priced v competitively. Bed was big & comfortable & room a great size. Thank you. Looking forward to our next visit to Karuizawa and will stay here again!

Pros: 1. The room is very spacious, with a tatami bed for the third person. It was clean and well-equipped. 2. Convenient and free parking right outside the hotel entrance, although spaces are first-come, first-served. 3. Complimentary rental of umbrellas. 4. The private onsen was enjoyable, especially considering the public onsen at the adjacent building is unsheltered (hence the need for umbrellas). 5. Excellent location near Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza and Kyu-Karuizawa Main Street, providing easy access to numerous local shops and eateries. Cons: 1. The breakfast was quite disappointing considering that this is a 4-star hotel and the other aspects are good. The bread was extremely hard and difficult to tear, and did not seem fresh. The overall variety of food was limited and not particularly appealing.

Great location, just 5 minute walk from the JR Nagano station. It has a main entrance and a back door entry way. The amenities were fantastic, room is the average size in Japan, a little small for western standards but it was comfortable. We loved the onsen on the 11th floor and the free use of the massage chairs as well as complimentary Popsicles and Soba at night. The breakfast was also lovely, with a main focus on Japanese breakfast (there were a few western dishes available).

Room was extremely worth it's pricing with the cleanliness and you could feel the exquisiteness of the hotel from entering through the main doors all the way to your room. Walking distance to multiple interesting areas such as Zenkoji Temple and very pretty eateries around the area. 1 extremely disturbing thing was whereby 1 of the huge mirrors by the make up table was right infront of our beds which made my family and I have a paranoid night stay. Other wise everything was top tier!
