Great hotel within 10 min walk from Changchun railway station. Hotel staff upgraded our room to include breakfast for free on our second night here. Breakfast spread was good and varied . First night we were assigned rooms that are on the lower floor but second night our rooms were on higher floor - Floor 9. Rooms in floor 9 are refurbished and more modern feel . Overall good stay and value for money

Very good front desk resolved an otherwise difficult issue for me. Big picture window in room provided wonderful view of city. Several small restaurants nearby. Starbucks coffee outlet across the street was very convenient for me. Breakfast was not provided by this trade hotel, but I was otherwise very pleased with this accommodation.

Beautiful hotel. Grand entrance with chandelier. Easy check in. Warm welcome from staff. Hotel staff Assisted with every request and made the holiday pleasant. Room had beautiful river and city views. Was actually better than the pictures online. Breakfast location: High ceilings and full windows overlooking the city and river. Spacious. Great selection of different cuisines. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

È un vecchio hotel a cinque stelle con un'illuminazione molto Shangri-La. Il personale della reception era entusiasta e ha aggiornato la nostra camera Anche se non riuscivamo a sentire la differenza tra le camere, ci hanno dato frutta, bevande e snack gratuiti. I cuscini del letto grande erano molto comodi e ho dormito molto bene. Inoltre, le strutture della sala fitness sono molto professionali, comprese le macchine Smith e le macchine a giunto singolo per varie parti.

L'hotel gode di un'ottima posizione, che lo rende comodo per raggiungere qualsiasi destinazione. Le tariffe dei taxi sono solo un punto di partenza. Il personale è molto cordiale e la colazione a soli 18 yuan è un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Le camere sono spaziose, la biancheria da letto è comoda e c'è un divano abbastanza grande da ospitare un adulto. Offrono anche prodotti a prezzi molto ragionevoli. Al 13° piano troverete un ristorante, un biliardo, una palestra e delle lavatrici, che piaceranno sia agli adulti che ai bambini.

L'hotel è bello e vicino al centro visitatori di Changbaishan. La città è vicino alla strada principale se camminare ci vorrà circa 20 minuti per ottenere il servizio di navetta dell'hotel per guidare. La cosa buona su questo hotel è che può organizzare la stazione ferroviaria pick up e tornare, ma l'arrangement è molto difficile. Devi avere WeiXin e organizzare un giorno prima. Il dipartimento responsabile di questo servizio reagisce un po' lento. Controllare il processo dell'hotel è regolare. La diffusione del colazione è ok. Il conducente che è venuto a prenderci era grande e paziente. Lo abbiamo anche impegnato a guidarci a Yanbian per un viaggio di giorno dove il parco nazionale era vicino a causa del cattivo tempo. Il soggiorno complessivo era buono.

Location is close to the forest nature park incl. waterfalls 20 min. (need additional ticket) and is directly at the hot springs bathing area 100m. The entrance ticket was included for the hotel guests. The ticket for waterfalls and vulcano lake could be purchased at the hotel. In general very nice in winter time.

UUtente ospiteWhat a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families.
For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though.
I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective.
Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building.
I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle.
But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat.
The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient.
It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C.
There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort.
Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol.
Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding.
We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day.
The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around.
Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back.
We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

UUtente ospiteHo avuto un soggiorno molto piacevole in questo impressionante hotel a Chang Bai Shan. La proprietà è enorme e ben progettata, comprendente tre torri, ma rimane ben organizzata e facile da navigare.
La posizione è estremamente conveniente, soprattutto per visitare l'entrata occidentale di Tian Chi. A big plus is the hotel’s shuttle bus service, which provides pick-up and drop-off to the main attractions, making the views very harmless, especially in cold weather. Arrangements must be made at front desk in advance.
La cucina coreana nella sala da pranzo era assolutamente deliziosa e ben preparata. Dopo un giorno di esplorazione, le sorgenti calde erano fantastiche, rilassanti e un modo perfetto per rilassarsi.
Il personale dell’hotel era molto amichevole, attento e ha compiuto un passo avanti per far sentire gli ospiti a casa e aiutare bene durante il soggiorno. La colazione è stata altrettanto impressionante, offrendo una vasta gamma di opzioni per adattarsi ai diversi gusti.
In generale, questo hotel offre eccellenti strutture, cibo, trasporto conveniente e servizio eccellente. Lo consiglio molto a chiunque visiti Chang Bai Shan, soprattutto a chi sta progettando di esplorare Tian Chi. Uno dei punti da notare è che durante l'inverno l'aria condizionata solo soffia aria calda.

This old dog finally flopped down in Jilin City, relieved to rest my paws at the grandly named Song Jiang Bonanza Winning Hotel. “Winning,” I thought—until my non-smoking room greeted me with a stale tobacco haze. One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot.
Room Rescue
Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next.
Comfort Food = Home
Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed.
Care Beyond the Call
Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking.
Menu Meltdown & A Win
At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned.
City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church
Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace.
Logistics That Worked
Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring.
Breakfast & The Fine Print
Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in.
Verdict
Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. It really does take one good sheep—thank you, Mr Hong—to dim the rest of the flaws.

The breakfast selection is wide, the hotel staff very helpful to arrange transport to the nearby restaurant. Just the hotel has some distance to the main ski resort. Ski facility and onsen facility has to take a connecting small bus which can be very crowded and need to stand.

SSH.1The first visit to this hotel was full of warmth and overwhelming hospitality. I still can't forget how they welcomed us the moment we arrived at the hotel.
Firstly, we were overwhelmed by the staff
during our arrival. They all came out to greet us and help with our luggages and belongings all the way in to the hotel.
Secondly, with the seamless check in to our rooms and fruit platter, every gesture was well thought by the hosts.
Thirdly, they prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Simple local delicacies yet tasted really good. The number of ginsengs in the appetiser surprised us! From the portion to the presentation of food, we can taste the difference and feel they put in their heart to make everything better. Lady boss was generous to treat us a bottle of local rice wine during our mealtime. Tasted really good and special! We like that drink!!
Additionally, we were asked for timing to eat breakfast and they would prepare that before our specific timing. They even asked us for our preference and customise breakfast for us. Breakfast was served and tasted as good as dinner! Freshly prepared and done meticulously by the kitchen.
Lastly, lady boss gave us an impromptu complimentary tea session after dinner. A unique and interesting experience indeed. Never seen and tried it before. It's a heating device with net on it, put the heating pot for stirring and cooking our own tea from scratch. Meanwhile, we have the finger snacks and nuts to roast on the heating rack (as shown in the pictures) while waiting for our tea.
In between, they would guide us how to prepare the tea. It was a chill and relaxing session. We enjoyed chit chatting while roasting our tea in the cafe. It felt so warmth especially when it was snowing heavily outside. The vibes were superb!
I had many enquiries and the lady at the counter helped me out a lot without hesitation. She tried all her means to help us. The lady at the hot spring was very friendly and provide good services too!
The staff from the hot spring, restaurant, concierge, driver and even lady boss all were very attentive, friendly and nice at any point of time during our stay. Pretty impressive indeed. Giving all credits to every single staff. Amazing team!
They gave us more than we could ever imagined from services to food to hospitality. Thank you for giving us an amazing and memorable stay! Overall it was a great and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend everyone to visit them and feel their positive energy. Certainly can't wait for our next visit to Chang Bai Shan again!!!

22Yann3I had an amazing stay at Floral Baihe. The entire place is exceptionally clean, and the location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk to plenty of restaurants. The surroundings are peaceful and serene, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff ( especially 韩丹) were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

She is always smiling, polite, and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the beginning, she warmly escorted us to our room and took the time to explain all the hotel amenities in detail. Her thoughtfulness did not stop there. She proactively connected with me on WeChat to ensure quick responses to any requests we had. The next morning, she personally reminded us about breakfast and even offered to come to our room to guide us to the restaurant. Her dedication was evident as she stayed until we were seated comfortably in the buffet area. Even after checkout, her exceptional service continued. She presented us with lovely hotel gifts and waited with us until our taxi arrived, ensuring a smooth departure. Chen Yuanyuan’s service attitude is truly commendable. Her attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism set a high standard for hospitality. She is undoubtedly a role model for her peers and a huge asset to the hotel.
