Hotel 5 stelle a Tokyo

I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them. The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits. Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape. There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water. The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station. I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

La posizione è davvero buona, unita alla buona manutenzione dopo la nuova ristrutturazione, le strutture complessive sono davvero buone. È solo che la dimensione della stanza non è particolarmente spaziosa. Igiene: L'igiene della camera non è un problema. Ambiente: Nella piazza circostante innumerevoli persone vengono a fare il check-in e a scattare foto, lo si vede quando si aprono le tende la mattina. Servizio: Inutile dire che è davvero buono.

Nel complesso, l'esperienza in hotel è stata nella media. Aspetti positivi: 1. C'era un ampio bagno pubblico, molto confortevole. 2. Le camere erano ben insonorizzate. Aspetti da migliorare: 1. Il bagno aveva un forte odore di fogna, molto sgradevole. 2. Una caramella alla prugna sciolta era incastrata tra la confezione esterna di due paia di ciabatte usa e getta, una cosa disgustosa. 3. L'hotel non ha una palestra. 4. La colazione offriva solo cibo giapponese, con poca varietà. 5. La camera era davvero angusta ed era facile sbattere i piedi. 6. Alloggiavo al 13° piano e la vista dalla mia finestra era completamente ostruita da un altro edificio, non offrendo alcun panorama. L'impressione generale sulla confezione delle ciabatte usa e getta è stata solo discreta.

A luxury stay from the minute you check in to when you check out The staff were so attentive and made our stay so welcoming! My sister and I came and they gave us delicious complimentary birthday sweets - only draw back was that due to the location it may be a little noisy at night but that's the only negative. I would definitely stay here again - the pyjamas were also one of the best and comfiest whilst we were in Japan! :)

L'hotel è molto grande e ospita numerosi gruppi turistici, quindi la hall è sempre affollata. Molte persone effettuano il check-in la sera; quasi sempre, quando tornavamo verso le 23, trovavamo una folla di persone con i carrelli nell'ascensore. La colazione è nella media. Nel complesso, c'è abbastanza varietà, ma il sapore è piuttosto ordinario; si mangia solo per riempirsi, non per assaggiare nulla di veramente delizioso. In generale, la selezione è basilare: yogurt, un paio di pasticcini, un paio di uova sode, alcune verdure e piatti giapponesi come onigiri (non male, ma molto grandi), pesce fritto, brodo, noodles e piccoli snack. Abbiamo cenato una volta al ristorante dell'hotel: era davvero delizioso, con piatti in stile europeo ma con un tocco giapponese e porzioni molto abbondanti. Durante il nostro soggiorno, uno degli ospiti ha compiuto gli anni e non ci ha nemmeno lasciato un biglietto di auguri sul letto. Nel complesso, la pulizia è nella media, i pavimenti non vengono lavati molto bene, ma tutto sommato è vivibile; le lenzuola sono pulite e gli asciugamani vengono cambiati. La camera in sé è un po' strana. Avevamo una camera che può ospitare fino a quattro persone. È molto grande, anche per un hotel non giapponese. La stanza ha un tavolo e una sedia. L'unico comodino è quello che ospita il frigorifero e un paio di mensole intorno al lavandino. Non ci sono nemmeno comodini (solo piccole mensole accanto ai due letti principali) e non c'è un armadio: tutti i vestiti sono appesi a una gruccia aperta. Non ci siamo fermati a lungo, quindi in generale non avevamo molte cose, ma è una scelta davvero insolita per un hotel.

È abbastanza diverso, le camere sono confortevoli e su ogni piano c'è un'area pubblica dove puoi goderti caffè, tè e snack gratuiti, il che è molto premuroso. L'unica cosa che lo rendeva inaccettabile era che il cameriere ci confiscava le scarpe nell'atrio (la valigia doveva essere portata su e le ruote della valigia venivano pulite per noi...). Potevamo solo andare scalzi per tutto il tempo e non c'erano pantofole fornite in camera Questo tipo di enfasi deliberata su un certo Il sentimento della cultura giapponese non si applica agli hotel con ospiti prevalentemente stranieri. Ovviamente è presente personale di servizio cinese, ma non viene fornito alcun servizio cinese al momento del check-in, il che aumenta anche molto i costi di comunicazione. Esperienza negativa

Hotel has a convenient location with Otemachi station entrance in same exact building around the corner. A few 24h conbini’s are located around. We had a room facing the park with a stunning view at the sunset and Mt.Fuji. The room itself is clean and spacious, everything needed was inside, staff changed towels daily. Smoking room is around reception and is really comfy as there are 2 vending machines. The only downside - pool operating ours are ending early, which is a bit strange as walking around Tokyo usually does not end around 6-7 pm. and would be great to stretch you legs after a long walk swimming in a pool before going to sleep

Il nostro primo viaggio a Tokyo con il nostro bambino di 5 anni 💕 Speravamo di trovare un posto da cui poter ammirare la Tokyo Tower dalla camera, sia di giorno che di notte, e visitarla a piedi, e questo hotel ha superato le nostre aspettative. Il mio bambino è rimasto entusiasta di vedere la Tokyo Tower proprio di fronte a sé, qualcosa che aveva visto solo nei libri. Il Parco Shiba e la Tokyo Tower sono vicinissimi. Gli interni sono puliti e l'hotel è ben attrezzato con servizi come bar, minimarket e ristorante. Tutto il personale è gentile e anche la colazione era deliziosa. Grazie per aver creato ricordi felici e meravigliosi per la nostra famiglia. ☺️

I want to start off by saying , the service staff are very friendly and the front desk management was excellent in understanding and resolving some communication issues.  With that said, as my first Hyatt experience, I was not at all impressed by the property. To start, when I arrived - there was no one to greet me front my Taxi, while normally there is someone - there was a gap. Then when entering the giant lobby, there is no one to attend to you to guide you to the check out counter. Upon arrival at the checkout counter, the receptionist was friendly but there was no welcome drink offered (5 star hotel?). Then following this, no one was assigned to show you to your room, despite the fact that the room has some quirky features (which led to miscommunication/stressful situation for me).  Amenities provided in the room were rather basic and not premium. I waited till I finished my experience at Hotel Groove, to write this. I have to say that the experience at Hotel Groove was tremendously better in almost every way, despite having a room rate that is 40-50% cheaper.  Hyatt you need to do better, otherwise IHG, Marriot and Park Royal will leave you in the dust. Thank you to the front desk manager on duty for his hospitality and support. This is more of a message targeted toward head office to improve their processes and standards, rather than any misstep by a staff.

Un ottimo hotel per coloro che viaggiano con più di 2 persone. È come un resort, con i propri giardini e altre strutture. A soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla metropolitana più vicina o dalla stazione JR. Il personale è cordiale. È inoltre possibile depositare i bagagli per alcuni giorni e con numerosi taxi nella hall. Una varietà di ristoranti nell'hotel e anche attività da svolgere. Lo consiglierei.
