La camera era spaziosa e arredata in modo elegante, con controlli intelligenti e luci notturne a sensore. L'esperienza del soggiorno è stata ottima, con frutta di benvenuto, tè pomeridiano e zuppa di funghi bianchi. Anche il personale è stato molto disponibile e reattivo a ogni richiesta. Questo è stato l'hotel più confortevole e che mi è piaciuto di più durante il mio viaggio nello Yunnan. Quando sono caduto in bicicletta, l'hotel aveva un kit di pronto soccorso per la disinfezione. L'esperienza è stata eccellente e tornerò sicuramente in questo hotel la prossima volta.

The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. Ho trascorso un soggiorno fantastico. Ottimo servizio, dopo il check-in il personale ti riconoscerà da quel momento. Non era un tipico hotel a cinque stelle, sembra molto più di essere a casa, offrendo un'atmosfera unica e accogliente. L'hotel in sé ha un delizioso stile locale ed è incredibilmente tranquillo. Si trova un po' più in profondità nel centro storico, quindi dovrai camminare qualche passo per arrivarci, ma saranno lieti di venire ad aiutarti. (VIVIAN è stata eccezionalmente gentile e mi ha fatto conoscere alcuni ottimi ristoranti locali e luoghi da visitare. Era sempre pronta a soddisfare le mie esigenze nel miglior modo possibile)

Un hotel perfetto! La camera era molto elegante e offriva frutta e snack di benvenuto. I dettagli della camera erano eccellenti, i prodotti da bagno di alta qualità e mi hanno persino fornito delle fodere monouso per la vasca da bagno. Anche il servizio è stato eccellente; verso mezzanotte, non sapevo come spegnere la ventola di aspirazione del bagno e la receptionist mi ha aiutato. La colazione era equilibrata e nutriente e il cameriere al ristorante è stato molto gentile. Dato che il mio treno era in ritardo, la receptionist mi ha permesso di posticipare il check-out alle 14:00 e mi ha persino offerto un regalo di benvenuto. È stata davvero un'esperienza meravigliosa!

La migliore esperienza in Dali. La stanza è un sogno. L'hotel offre tutto, compresi biscotti per i marinai. Possiamo nutrire i marinai dalla nostra stanza e il marito ha detto che è la migliore esperienza mai. Le persone dell'hotel hanno preso cura di noi e di tutto quello che abbiamo bisogno. Sono amichevole e utile. Assicurare il nostro soggiorno è comodo. Lo consiglio e rimarrò qui probabilmente provare un altro tipo di camera quando torno di nuovo. Grazie per l'ospitalità.

I can't fault this hotel! Location is excellent, walking distance to Three Pagodas (left 10mins) and also walking distance to the North Gate of the old town, turn right 5-10 mins straight line. The hotel grounds and restaurant have a view of the pagodas. Our room was huge, quiet and had everything you might need. Some very nice details too, cups, glasses, cutlery, all very stylish; turn down service with milk. Breakfast was very good, not huge, bit it had lots of local specialties and standard western items. However, probably one of the biggest hotel assets is Kadi, French GM (especially if you are foreigner). He was super helpful, very informative and knowledgable about the area and he gave us some great tips for visiting local sites, how best to visit pagodas, where to go exactly on the Erhai lake (not the usual spots) and he suggested really great places to eat, just listen to his recommendations; he even made chef make us rose petal salad for breakfast, as the days we were there it wasn't offered for breakfast :). Other staff was great too, no English spoken (except Kadi), but everyone was very responsive on WeChat. I just wish we stayed more then 2 days, Dali has much to offer!

The sea view overlooking Erhai Lake is absolutely stunning! Waking up to the sunrise and enjoying the calm waters right from the room is an unforgettable experience. My parents especially loved relaxing on the balcony with the view, it was so enjoyable that they didn’t even feel like going out to walk around Dali. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making the stay warm and pleasant.

Questa volta a Dali, ho soggiornato al Jixia Mountain Inn. La camera era molto pulita e confortevole, e il design era semplice ma sofisticato, come un rifugio appartato nella città antica. La colazione servita ogni giorno dalla locanda era nutriente, sana e deliziosa, con una presentazione squisita che faceva bella mostra di sé nelle foto. Il caffè era a volontà, e anche il tè pomeridiano e il latte alla rosa serale erano molto buoni. Anche il personale è stato molto gentile, consigliandomi con cura i posti dove mangiare e divertirsi a Dali. Abbiamo chiacchierato come amici, e anche ora che sono tornato a Shenzhen, mi mancano loro e i giorni trascorsi al Jixia Mountain Inn. Tornerò sicuramente in questa locanda la prossima volta che andrò a Dali. Dali, aspettami!

Overall experience average at Dali Ocean hotel Not up to expectation for the price paid for a should be kids-friendly five star hotel in China. eg: breakfast not much choice, and also not feeling very welcome by front desk staff. When i called them through phone, they just hang up the phone without me finishing the conversation yet, this shock me. Hotel not really kids friendly. Normally what I expect from a 5 star hotel which is into kids theme hotel should be more friendly to kids like giving out some small gifts for little ones, but Dali Ocean Hotel did not have such thing. And also price paid not include visiting the oceanarium. Unexpectedly the dinner we ordered through hotel restaurant and truffle pizza (complimentary in my package) are delicious. Room view Ok, can stay for a night to experience it yourself.

Questo hotel è davvero fotogenico, perfetto per Instagram :)) Ci sono fiori ovunque e l'intero posto ha una vibrazione molto calma e fredda. Il loro servizio era davvero impressionante, ci hanno contattati un giorno prima del nostro soggiorno e hanno anche organizzato un conducente per farci uscire dalla stazione ferroviaria Dali, che rendeva tutto molto facile. I butlers erano anche molto utili, sempre veloci a rispondere e attenti a tutto ciò che avevamo bisogno. Ci hanno persino dato un giro gratuito al nostro prossimo hotel, che era un bel toccamento extra, e al di sopra di questo mi hanno dato una bella catena di chiave elefante per una bella fortuna, così pensativa e memorabile. La posizione è anche grande, molto conveniente per andare in giro.
