Hotel con balcone a Dali

We stayed for one night at the Garden Panorama Suite with Soaking Tub at Dali Yunying Chunxiao Shuiyuan Scenic Hotel. This is a small boutique hotel, and while there are some things worth improving, the views and overall atmosphere were truly memorable. The first thing that struck us when we arrived was the view of Erhai Lake. It was absolutely exquisite and looked almost exactly like the photos online. Every corner of the hotel was incredibly photogenic, and the whole place had a very calm, peaceful and almost surreal atmosphere. The hotel itself is quite small, with a compact lobby that also serves as the breakfast area, but the incredible lake view more than made up for the limited space. The hotel is located along a cobbled street with no direct car access. The hotel contacted us beforehand to ask about our arrival time, which was appreciated, and their staff met us to collect our luggage and transported it to the hotel by motorbike. However, we initially thought someone would escort or pick us up, but instead we were given a location to follow on foot. The route was a little confusing and we got slightly lost, particularly because the final stretch goes through a very quiet back street that doesn’t really look like it leads to a hotel. It was also raining when we arrived and when we left, so we really appreciated that the hotel lent us umbrellas. The location itself is convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. However, one important point for future guests is that the streets leading back to the hotel are completely dark at night, with no street lights at all. We found this quite scary and felt it could be unsafe, especially for families with young children or anyone returning after dark. Our room had a beautiful view of Erhai Lake, but unfortunately the upkeep and cleanliness did not quite match what we expected for the price. There were quite a few dead fish and pieces of rubbish visible around the water when looking over the ledge, both from our room and from the lobby area. The balcony also had a hammock, but it did not look particularly safe to use, and there were plants growing out from the lake and into the hammock area. The room itself was also relatively small for the price, and the cleanliness could have been better. That said, there were some really lovely inclusions with our room, including afternoon tea, a photoshoot, goodnight dessert and breakfast. Breakfast was not buffet-style, but we were given a choice of mains along with some sides and a drink. The portions were on the smaller side, but everything we had was good. The photoshoot was a particularly nice touch and something we really appreciated. Three photos were included with our stay, and we actually enjoyed the experience enough to purchase additional photos beyond the included three. It was a lovely way to capture our time in Dali. We were also celebrating our child’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond by preparing a very cute birthday cake for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture and genuinely made the stay more special❤️ Overall, this hotel has an incredibly beautiful setting and a very unique atmosphere. The views are genuinely stunning and the photography opportunities are fantastic. The thoughtful extras, especially the photoshoot and birthday cake, were also highlights of our stay. However, for the price, we felt the room upkeep, cleanliness and accessibility could be improved, and the completely unlit walk back to the hotel at night is something future guests should be aware of. If the hotel were to improve the maintenance and cleanliness while addressing the nighttime access issue, it could be an exceptional boutique stay because the location and views are truly special.

With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. I had an absolutely incredible stay here, it was easily the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome from the host and his family, making us feel right at home immediately. Our bedroom was impressively spacious and kept perfectly clean throughout our visit. The highlight, however, was the spectacular view; waking up to a panoramic vista of both the city and the lake was truly unforgettable. What really set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. The host took care of us from the beginning until the very end of our stay, going above and beyond by even personally taking us to the bus stop when it was time to leave. The room is exactly you see from the website. Service is good. Loves their morning Soya Milk n noodle. Will certainly recommend this Minsu. Trust me you will love it. My friend n sister falls in the with the rooms. Comfy bed n pillow. Once again Thank you for your wonderful service.

We absolutely have to mention the breathtaking view especially in the morning when you first wake up and look outside. The entire house is spotless, creating a calm and relaxing feeling the moment you step through the door. They also provide a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils you need if you feel like cooking. The neighbourhood itself is incredibly instagrammable, with picture-worthy corners everywhere you turn. On top of that, the host was extremely helpful, answering all our questions quickly and making everything smooth and easy. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dali.

Thank you very much for your warm hospitality during our four-night stay. We truly had a wonderful time here. Although we stayed at many five-star hotels during this trip, we still feel that this has been the best accommodation experience so far. We made quite a few troublesome requests during our stay, yet you fulfilled all of them without hesitation. We are sincerely grateful for that. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends, and we will certainly come back again if we have the opportunity in the future! They were also very nice enough to pick us at the train station when we reached dali from lijiang and drop us at the train station again to catch the train to kun ming FOC! Da chi è tornato a Dali, ha scelto di soggiornare temporaneamente all'isola di Jinjiang.Sono venuto a Dali molte volte, la prima volta che sono arrivati all'isola, l'hotel è davvero la più soddisfatta.La scena del mare della stanza è senza scena, e la camera è incantevole, puoi guardare il mare e la dinastia, le strutture sono molto intelligenti e l'igiene è molto pulita.Il rapporto di prezzo è eccezionale! Il colazione del ristorante di scena del mare è anche una piccola sorpresa.

Un'esperienza da 10 stelle Dal mio arrivo, sono stata accolta calorosamente dalle due sorelle Mo e dai loro adorabili felini, Pirate (il gatto nero) e Sweet Tooth (quello marrone). Tutto di questo soggiorno, dalla posizione e l'arredamento alla pulizia impeccabile e al servizio, merita 10 stelle. Le sorelle Mo sono incredibilmente gentili, loquaci e disponibili, e fanno sì che l'intero alloggio sembri una casa accogliente e ben curata. Alcuni punti salienti: Dettagli premurosi: I letti sono dotati di termofori per le notti più fredde, un tocco davvero apprezzato. Servizi: Ho adorato il tranquillo cortile e la terrazza sul tetto. Servizio: Sono molto attente; ad esempio, se avete bisogno di luci da lettura più potenti, basta chiedere. L'atmosfera: Il giardino è curato con amore e contribuisce moltissimo all'atmosfera. Anche da amante dei cani quale sono, devo ammettere che Pirate e Sweet Tooth mi hanno completamente conquistata. Se cercate un soggiorno con carattere e calore, questo è il posto giusto!

Truly beyond my expectations This hotel genuinely exceeded every expectation I had. The service was not just good the staff went above and beyond in ways that I honestly did not expect, even from a five-star hotel. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, attentive and meticulous. You can really feel that they care about the little details and the overall guest experience. One thing that really amazed me was the cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The shower area was spotless every single time we returned to the hotel. Even when there were water marks and spots on the shower taps and head before we left the room, we would come back to find everything sparkling clean again. It was such a small detail, but it showed just how much effort the housekeeping team puts into maintaining the room. Honestly, this is the kind of attention to detail that you don’t even always expect from a five-star hotel. What impressed me even more was how thoughtfully they considered the needs of travellers. Knowing that guests would likely spend the entire day walking and exploring Dali, the hotel thoughtfully prepared soaking basins for guests to soak their legs after a long day. After hours of walking, coming back to the hotel and having this little comfort prepared for us was such a lovely touch. It showed that they weren’t simply providing a room, they were thinking about the entire experience of their guests. The food and drinks were another pleasant surprise. Breakfast had a wonderful variety, including their homemade yoghurt and soy milk, which were both delicious. During lunchtime, they also provided coffee and tea such a thoughtful touch when you’re out exploring for the day. And dinner was another highlight. Their homemade rose vinegar and wine were such unexpected and memorable touches. Everything felt carefully prepared and had a sense of warmth and authenticity that you don’t often find in hotels. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail throughout the entire stay. From the spotless room, thoughtful amenities and food, to the genuinely warm service, you could tell that the team truly cares about their guests. After travelling and staying in different hotels, I can honestly say this stay left a very strong impression on me. The combination of exceptional service, meticulous cleanliness, thoughtful details, wonderful food and genuinely friendly staff made this hotel stand out far beyond what I expected. If I ever return to Dali, I wouldn’t even need to think twice about where to stay. This would be my first choice, without hesitation.
