Hotel 5 stelle a Chengdu

Questa volta ero a Chengdu per lavoro e mi muovevo principalmente nella zona est. Su suggerimento di un amico, ho scelto per la prima volta l'Hyatt Centric. Innanzitutto, la posizione è ottima: bastano due fermate della linea 2 dalla stazione est per arrivare sotto l'hotel, davvero comodo. In secondo luogo, il servizio dell'hotel è eccellente: il personale della concierge al primo piano e quello della reception al settimo piano sono tutti molto calorosi ed educati. L'hotel ha anche una mascotte, un West Highland White Terrier bianco, molto docile e carino. L'hotel è nuovo, con una bellissima atmosfera artistica; le camere hanno anche delle deliziose e simpatiche decorazioni artistiche. Anche le strutture dell'hotel sono ottime. Penso che d'ora in poi, quando verrò a Chengdu per lavoro, questo sarà sempre il mio hotel preferito.

This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms. Some noteworthy details: - Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort. - The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include: (a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now! (b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room (c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C. (d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold. - Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them. - We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away. - We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2. - Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too. - We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests. Areas of improvement: - Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake. - The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper. - Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor). Thank you Ocean Spring Resort Chengdu! We had a great stay here. Will definitely be back!

Un soggiorno incredibilmente riposante! È l'hotel più confortevole in cui abbia mai alloggiato in tanti anni di viaggi di lavoro! I materiali utilizzati sono di gran lunga superiori a quelli di molti resort di lusso! Sono arrivato nella seconda metà del ponte del 1° maggio e il ragazzo alla reception mi ha gentilmente fatto un upgrade a una suite con una camera da letto. La biancheria da letto è più confortevole di quella degli Hilton, con il giusto equilibrio tra morbidezza e sostegno. Il letto è enorme e la stanza è super silenziosa. La zona circostante è elegante e mi sono sentito al sicuro anche tornando a tarda notte. Gli ospiti sono di alto livello, per lo più uomini d'affari e stranieri. Veramente all'altezza della reputazione di Yanlord. La vasca da bagno, il soffione della doccia e i dettagli sono impeccabili, persino la lampadina del comodino era senza un granello di polvere. L'intera suite era tranquilla, sicura e inodore, e si può raggiungere qualsiasi luogo comodamente. Le pulizie sono discrete, e potevo dormire fino al pomeriggio senza essere disturbato. Questa settimana mi ha davvero rigenerato corpo e mente. Non volevo più andarmene! La prossima volta che verrò a Chengdu, tornerò sicuramente qui!

Service: 5/5 top notch (complaint about the centralized air con and they responded seriously by upgrading me to another room/ Breakfast: good enough with local food such as Dan Dan noodles, dumplings Room: unique design of the hotel & rooms. Great to spend some time to take pics around the hotel. Location: slightly further away from the main attractions but 10 mins walk to the nearest subway station. Easy to call for DiDi at a reasonable price. Quiet place at night & able to get a good rest after a long day walk outside Plus point: The wifi strength is super fast! I will definitely come back to this hotel if I'm going to revisit next time!

Dopo aver soggiornato al voco ad Auckland nel 2024, ho sviluppato un'ottima impressione su questo nuovo marchio di IHG, considerandolo un'ottima scelta in termini di rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il voco Chunxi Road di Chengdu, dove ho alloggiato per il mio viaggio, è nuovissimo e si trova probabilmente nel suo periodo migliore per quanto riguarda le strutture. Anche se eravamo una famiglia di tre persone, abbiamo prenotato una suite con due letti singoli. La camera era molto spaziosa, con doppi lavandini, davvero confortevole. Alcuni piccoli dettagli mostravano l'attenzione della gestione dell'hotel, come lo specchio per il trucco sulla scrivania e le salviette disinfettanti nel bagno. Devo fare un plauso alla lavanderia: tutti i giorni dalle 10:00 alle 22:00 c'è personale che aiuta con il lavaggio e l'asciugatura, quindi non c'è bisogno di preoccuparsi che i vestiti lavati rimangano incustoditi mentre si è fuori a divertirsi. È un servizio molto premuroso. L'unico inconveniente è il controllo dell'illuminazione della camera da letto: o tutto acceso o tutto spento, non è possibile accendere solo una o due luci, il che è scomodo. Nel complesso, il voco Chunxi Road mi ha offerto un'ottima esperienza di soggiorno. La pulizia della camera era molto accurata, il personale salutava sempre gli ospiti e rispondeva prontamente alle richieste. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Soggiornare in una suite con vista sulle Petronas Twin Towers è stato semplicemente sbalorditivo: le finestre a 180 gradi dal pavimento al soffitto trasformavano lo skyline della città in un dipinto privato, e ammirare il panorama notturno ogni giorno era un piacere supremo. La biancheria da letto era così comoda che mi svegliavo naturalmente ogni mattina, e il sistema di domotica mi ha reso la vita incredibilmente comoda. Ma il servizio di Sheon è stato davvero eccezionale: il mio primo giorno, mi ha preparato dei campioni di prodotti da bagno e di balsamo in formato da viaggio. Sapendo che adoro il caffè, ha persino chiesto alla cameriera di rifornire le capsule di caffè nel pomeriggio, durante il programma di pulizia giornaliero. Questa attenzione discreta e premurosa ha reso un breve soggiorno un'esperienza davvero memorabile.

Mi sorprendeva che ci diedessero colazione gratuita al check-in, che era molto buono perché non eravamo sicuri di cosa o dove mangiare per colazione. Il personale di check-in, Emily Huang, ci aiutava ad installare WeChat, ma non era sicuro perché non poteva. Quando ha capito che Alipay ha una funzione di messaggio, mi ha scritto su tutte le informazioni pertinenti su dove mangiare e cosa fare intorno all'hotel. La stanza è molto spaziosa e pulita. Letto e cuscino sono molto comodi. Tutte le cose che abbiamo bisogno erano disponibili nella stanza, shampoo, condizionatore, tostapane, pasta dentale, asciugacapelli, slipper e scatola di sicurezza. L'unico punto di partenza era che potevo solo usare il wifi dell'hotel per accedere all'e-mail e niente di più. Quando ho esteso il mio soggiorno al viaggio della mia compagnia, un personale di servizio frontale maschile mi ha aiutato a estendere la mia carta d’accesso e mi ha aiutato a chiedere un cambio di letto. Il colazione era principalmente cibo locale. Le opzioni di frutta e dolci erano un po' limitate. Altrimenti la diffusione era sufficiente. L'hotel è a pochi passi dall'IFS e da Tai Ku Li con molti ristoranti e cibo per strada. È a circa un'ora dall'aeroporto di Tianfu e leggermente più di un'ora dalla stazione di Chengdu East HSR. È a circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Chunxi Metro. In generale, ci siamo divertiti nel nostro soggiorno a quattro punti da Sheraton.

We chose this hotel mainly for a skiing trip, with the added bonus of having hot spring facilities on-site. We stayed from 28–30 December 2025. Unfortunately, while there was a small amount of snow at the top of the mountain, there wasn’t enough snow for skiing, which is worth keeping in mind as snow conditions are very weather-dependent. The hotel itself has good facilities, including hot springs, sauna, and a swimming pool. The hot spring experience felt private and relaxing, as there are multiple smaller tubs designed for individuals or family groups, rather than one large communal pool. There is also a dedicated changing area with showers, plenty of towels, and hair dryers, which is well-organised and convenient after soaking. The surrounding area is quite deserted, with only a few old shops across the road selling BBQ skewers and basic convenience store snacks. The police station is immediately next door, which adds a sense of security. Dining options nearby are very limited, so the hotel restaurant is the most decent and reliable place to eat. We particularly enjoyed their non-spicy chicken and mushroom hotpot, priced at 368 yuan, which was generous enough for a family of 3–4 people. The breakfast was also yummy and a highlight of our stay. One nice extra was the complimentary photo session with a professional photographer. You receive 3 photos for free, and if you choose to purchase all the digital photos taken, it costs around 400 yuan for approximately 43 photos. Transportation was one downside. We didn’t enjoy using Didi in this area. On the way to Xiling Snow Mountain, the Didi fare was 40 yuan, but the driver asked for an additional 30 yuan to cover his return trip. For the return journey, the driver didn’t accept the fixed price, used the meter instead, and requested an extra 20 yuan for parking fees at the mountain. For reference, the cable car prices at Xiling Snow Mountain are 320 yuan per person per day to the top, or 250 yuan per person per day to the halfway point. If you stay at hotels near the cable car, you only pay for the ride once. Since Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is farther away, you have to pay the same cable car rate every day, which adds up. Overall, Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is a comfortable hotel with good hot spring facilities and decent food, but it’s best suited for travellers who value relaxation over convenience. If skiing is your main goal, staying closer to the cable car may be more cost-effective and practical.

La posizione di questo Atour S Hotel è davvero impeccabile: si esce e si è subito a Taikoo Li, e sotto ci sono tantissimi ristoranti che offrono cibo autentico. La camera è semplice ma raffinata, con un materasso Plant che assicura un sonno profondo e ristoratore, e i prodotti da bagno sono di alta qualità. La biblioteca di bambù nella hall ha un'atmosfera incredibile, e a tarda notte c'è anche un porridge caldo e gratuito. Il servizio è cordiale e attento. La prossima volta che verrò a Chengdu, tornerò sicuramente!

We stayed at Yunshuijian Longxing Courtyard in Pengzhou for ten days while visiting family in the area, and overall we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel has a particularly attractive setting right next to Longxing Temple and is very centrally located. Rather than being one large hotel building, the property consists of several smaller one- and two-storey buildings arranged around the grounds, which gives it a lot of character and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and nicely designed. We had booked three rooms, and after a few days all three were upgraded free of charge to significantly larger and more comfortable rooms. This was a very nice gesture and something we genuinely appreciated. There are, however, a few areas where improvements would make the experience even better. The main issue was the air conditioning. In practically all of our rooms, the temperature control did not work properly. The air conditioning cooled the rooms effectively, but did not stop once the selected temperature had been reached. As a result, room temperatures sometimes dropped to around 19°C, and the only practical way to regulate this was to switch the air conditioning on and off manually. Breakfast was included in the room rate and is very much focused on Chinese tastes, with noodle soup, eggs and various warm dishes. Western options are essentially limited to toast and jam, so international guests should set their expectations accordingly. Overall, we found the breakfast average in terms of both selection and quality, although perfectly adequate for a predominantly Chinese-style breakfast. Unfortunately, our last evening was affected by a more serious issue. Following very heavy rain, a considerable amount of water entered our daughter’s room, leaving part of the bed wet. The hotel staff reacted quickly and provided another room, which we appreciated, but naturally this was not the ideal way to end an otherwise enjoyable ten-day stay. Apart from this, we enjoyed our time at Yunshuijian Longxing Courtyard very much. Its central location is a real advantage, with plenty of restaurants, shops and cafés within easy walking distance. We did not try any other food at the hotel apart from breakfast. Overall, the beautiful setting, the unusual courtyard-style layout, the comfortable upgraded rooms and the convenient location made this a very pleasant place to stay in Pengzhou. With some attention to the air-conditioning controls and the water ingress issue, it could be an even better hotel.
