Hotel 2 stelle a Kunming

L'hotel è stato inaugurato di recente e si trova in una posizione comoda, sul lato di una vecchia strada. Al terzo e quarto piano ci sono altri hotel. Il personale è stato molto cordiale e merita un elogio. L'acqua calda nelle docce era costante e la pulizia generale accettabile. Il caffè offerto gratuitamente alla reception era migliore del caffè in grani della marca Small Blue Cup. Tuttavia, ci sono stati alcuni problemi: c'era un forte odore di ristrutturazione; chi è sensibile agli odori dovrebbe tenerne conto. La camera in cui ho soggiornato era senza finestre e dallo scarico del bagno proveniva un forte odore che risaliva, problema che il sistema di ventilazione non riusciva a risolvere. Suggerisco di controllare il sistema di scarico. La prima mattina, ho sentito odore di fumo provenire dal bagno. I bicchieri di carta usati per il caffè alla reception erano di scarsa qualità e perdevano liquido; suggerisco di sostituirli con bicchieri di migliore qualità. Un altro piccolo suggerimento: dato che la tipologia di camera è già piccola, sistemare un tavolino rotondo e una sedia ha ulteriormente ridotto lo spazio, rendendo difficile aprire una valigia. Un tavolino e una sedia più piccoli potrebbero essere posizionati vicino alla finestra per non ostruire il passaggio. Infine, desidero elogiare nuovamente il servizio della reception; il personale è stato eccellente e ha risposto prontamente.

Camera molto grande: il personale ha fatto un upgrade gratuito. Posizione eccellente, letteralmente a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria. Ha una grande vasca da bagno in camera da letto (non in bagno). Il personale della reception è stato molto gentile e disponibile. La camera era sufficientemente calda: c'è l'aria condizionata e il riscaldamento. Non è il massimo dell'accoglienza, ma a questo prezzo e per la posizione direi che ha un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo per un breve soggiorno se si prende un treno la mattina presto o si ha bisogno di un posto dove dormire dopo un arrivo in stazione in ritardo. La mia camera puzzava un po' di vernice (forse solo ridipinta) e anche un po' di fumo: probabilmente era una camera per fumatori, visto che ho visto un posacenere. Anche uno degli asciugamani forniti aveva un leggero odore di fumo. Se siete sensibili al fumo di sigaretta, vi consiglio di chiedere una camera per non fumatori, altrimenti tutto il resto è a posto.

Ho visitato molti hotel, ma questo mi ha colpito particolarmente. La camera è pulitissima, con tutti i comfort e l'aria condizionata è fantastica. Tutto è fantastico. L'hotel si trova al 31° piano dell'edificio. C'è un minimarket al piano inferiore. Non è lontano dalla stazione ferroviaria di Kunming e nemmeno dalla metropolitana. Sono disponibili biciclette elettriche. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima. L'hotel mi ha contattato per confermare l'orario prima del mio soggiorno, il che è molto positivo. Se dovessi tornare a Kunming, questo è l'unico hotel che sceglierei. Consiglio ai thailandesi che visiteranno Kunming di scegliere questo hotel, non rimarranno delusi. 💕🇹🇭

Amenities, ive rated 3/5 to remain neutral as all we needed was a place to stay to accommodate our family of 5. Now, where do I begin, first of? if you sre arriving at this place via didi or taxi straight from the airport, do yourself a favour and get dropped off outside and walk to the entrance of the ”hotel”. If you get dropped off inside the underground parking lot, Goodluck to your driver finding the spot to drop you off that connects to the hotels' elevator (its a maze and once u get there, it looks sketchy but its alright). Now, for the location: the location is superb! You're legit right beside a large mall with Tonssssss of restaurants to eat at even late at night! It is simply very convenient. And if you dont mind walking, there's another mall down south thats about 15mins walk. Lots of things to do. The lobby, the receptionist were kind and warm. They provided water whenever asked and didn't hesitate to help where they could. The free tea upfront, although we didn't fully utilize, was a nice touch. Now for the room: we selected the largest room they had which had 3 bedrooms. The price? It was insanely good. Almost unheard of. It was between 50-70 Canadian during the time of booking. I couldn't believe it. But not all hotels are perfect, and i have to say some of the things i experienced could definitely be improved. The restroom area had some scent to it that I couldn't point out as to what the smell is. I had to leave the exhaust fan on to ensure a neutral atmosphere. It worked fyi. The living room: is huge but tell me how there's only a 2-3 people sofa available and one small chair and a table. Its a wasted space. It ought to offer a large lounging furniture at this kind of room. It felt bare. The windows: simply put, although they installed windows capable of sound deadening, the weather stripping and the latch simply doesnt bond the gaps efficiently. Meaning, coldness of the night still finds its way. Luckily, the hvac system works and the curtains are relatively thick and also automatic (adjust at will). The beds are ultra clean and the floors were relatively spotless. But there's honestly one thing that is have to think about if I ever decide to rebook. I personally don't smoke, and i requested for a deodorizing treatment for our room prior to coming. The room itself? It didn't smell like cigarettes which was awesome, but here's something I don't see bring possible to address: at night time, while I lay down and sleep, there is a smell of people smoking cigarettes whose odour is somehow able to travel through the air ducts. Like each and every night, it was the same ordeal. My son didn't say anything, my parents inlaw didn't say anything, but my wife and I, yeah we smelled it. It isnt like as if you're beside someone smoking cigarettes, but its more like a scent that goes along with the air in the room that suggest someone had smoked, just unsure when. Other than that, sure, the beds, pillows and comforters were all clean and comfy. Honestly, my family was OK with the room. The convenience and price is really really hard to beat. Like it is extremely beyond belief affordable. Perhaps id reconsider staying here again if we were in kunming. We'll see.

Il punto di forza di questo ostello è la location, sia per dove è posizionata in un punto estremamente comodo da girare a piedi per i dintorni, sia anche per come è strutturato l'albergo perché ha delle terrazze panoramiche dove è gradevole anche prendere un drink e passare la serata. Lo stello è molto grande, dispone di camere private che sono dei veri e propri appartamenti ben attrezzati quando siamo andati. Tuttavia il servizio di lavanderia non era temporaneamente disponibile.

1. Il capo è una persona locale, molto simpatica, prende e consegna i clienti, il che è raro. 2. Le strutture sono un po' vecchie, soprattutto le piastrelle del bagno sono scheggiate e l'igiene è nella media. 3. C'è uno snack street al piano di sotto e il prezzo è accettabile. 4. La camera dispone di aria condizionata e articoli da toeletta completi. Nel complesso va bene.

Despite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note: 1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival. 2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room. 3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised. We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.
