PPohli94Yuezhu Yishan Homestay is one of the best family-friendly place we’ve stayed in Dali. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, seperated into 2 different bedrooms and suitable for 6 adults. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, helping us on our luggages and gave us free fruits. The homestay also had a convenient self-service laundry room, which was really useful during our family trip. Will definitely come back for our next family holiday!

QQing YunMy stay here is exceptionally satisfactory because of the services. The owners are a couple with a cute daughter. They are very supportive. My bus from Kunming to Dali reached the hotel at 1am. They were staying awake to keep us updated on the route and the husband rode a escooter to take me to the noodle store to buy food at 2am. Very heart melting. Although we are foreigners and not familiar with China, he patiently supported us whenever we asked. 💖 There are free pastry and fruits at the courtyard so that you can sit there to enjoy a chill rest. When we checkout, he gave us some souvenirs as a gift, and help to carry our luggage to the taxi location. So sweet ☺️ Considering the room, very clean and smart and compact. The bed is super large and comfortable. Regarding the location, as I observe in Dali Ancient Town, most of them are not accessible by car as they are located in small alleys, which requires a bit walk to reach the street. But no need to worry about the luggage, the hotel will support with all their hearts. 🥰

SSam AussiOur stay at this mini hotel near Erhai Lake was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hospitality was outstanding, with the owner and their friends and family creating a beautiful evening gathering that we will never forget. The delicious noodles, fruits and the morning Pu'er tea were delightful touches that added to the overall experience. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the rich traditions of a courtyard setting. The rooms were immaculate, superbly clean, and very comfortable, equipped with everything a traveler could need. They even helped us park our car nearby, which was very convenient. The star of it all was the wonderful lady owner. She was always ready to jump up and help with whatever we needed. We don't speak Chinese, but communication was easy using online translation. In the morning owner took us for a walk near Erhai Lake, which was a memorable highlight of our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, situated between the rice fields and the lake shore, just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk along the lake. We left feeling amazed and recharged, and we sincerely hope that our travels will bring us back to this wonderful hotel near Dali ancient city again.

YYuki Serene AngI had an extremely enjoyable stay at Mr Ma’s accommodation. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with genuine warmth and sincere hospitality. Throughout our stay, he assisted us with every need and often went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. We loved our time here so much that we extended our stay to a total of six nights! We were deeply touched by his generosity and the thoughtfulness he showed every single day. Each morning, he checked in on us, asked if we had slept well, and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a family-run accommodation, and every member of the Ma family was friendly, warm, and welcoming. Mr Ma even took special care to accommodate my daughter’s cat allergy by keeping their cats away from the common areas — a gesture we truly appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was the meaningful conversations we shared with the family. We exchanged stories about our respective countries, shared insights about our cultures, and learned so much from one another. These heartfelt chats made our stay feel even more personal, and we genuinely enjoyed connecting on a deeper level beyond the usual host–guest interactions. The room facilities were excellent — warm blankets, electric heating pads, newly installed air-conditioners, towels, a hair dryer, and a kettle. And every morning, we were greeted with a comforting bowl of noodles lovingly prepared by Mrs Ma — such a heartwarming way to start the day. The location is ideal as well: close to the bustling streets and ancient town, with the mountains and lake just nearby. We enjoyed sitting on the top-floor balcony in the cool, crisp morning air, taking in the peaceful mountain views. Mrs Ma also shared wonderful food recommendations, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. During our stay, we met international travellers from France, and the Ma family communicated effortlessly using translation apps. It’s clear they have plenty of experience hosting guests from around the world. We also made a short trip to Lijiang, arranged through Mr Ma’s recommendation — a comfortable 9-seater car that picked us up directly from the accommodation and dropped us off at our next destination. I highly, highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. I am deeply grateful for the kindness and warmth shown to us throughout our stay — right up until the moment we left, when Mr Ma personally helped us with our luggage. Before you leave, be sure to take a photo with the family, and don’t miss the chance to chat with Mr Ma’s son, who is very eager to practise English with travellers. Wishing this humble, hardworking, and generous family all the very best. UUtente ospiteWe visited Dali for the first time from New York. Our kids were in a local summer camp for two weeks. We took the large three bedroom suite. It was a very comfortable stay - perfect for adults and children. The owners were very nice and sweet, especially with the kids. They would offer fruit from their garden sometimes. The hotel had a nice stream and a pond with fish inside. The kids loved it. They would catch fish and eel with their nets over and over again. Also they have a friendly dog that the kids enjoyed playing with. The hotel is 10 minutes away from Dali village. They had some scooters that we used from time to time to travel around, which made everything more convenient. If we come to Dali again we would stay in this hotel.

PPierre-AlexisAbbiamo avuto un tempo fantastico qui! La casa è bella, ben decorata, pulita e tranquilla. La posizione è anche super buona (tutto in città è camminabile da qui). Il proprietario è solo un bel ragazzo, super amichevole, freddo, felice di aiutarti e di condividere alcuni buoni momenti con te (malgrado la barriera linguistica, ma ha funzionato bene con un traduttore). Abbiamo incontrato alcuni amici del proprietario e abbiamo condiviso così tanto tempo insieme, tutti erano così benvenuti con noi, una delle migliori memorie del nostro viaggio. Grazie ancora per tutti, torneremo a casa per essere sicuri!❤️🍺

11875172****Ho scelto una stanza affacciata sulla montagna e ho aperto la finestra per vedere la montagna. I visitatori dalla pianura hanno provato la sensazione di vivere ai piedi della montagna. Era molto tranquillo. Dormi finché non ti svegli naturalmente la mattina. Anche se la stanza è di piccole dimensioni, è pulita e ordinata. Piccolo ma completo. Durante l'alta stagione turistica sono già molto contento. Sono andato al villaggio di Xizhou, un villaggio del gruppo etnico Bai, e ho cavalcato sul lago Erhai. Voglio provare Xizhou Baba.

RRlu.6Il B&B si trova nel vicolo di Yu'er Road. È molto comodo. È facile da trovare in taxi. Non devi andare in giro. Pensavo che sarebbe stato rumoroso, ma è stato sorprendentemente silenzioso dopo essere entrato nel cortile. Non è esagerato dire che è silenzioso in mezzo al rumore. Il cortile è più silenzioso dei dintorni. Gli edifici sono più bassi, ma molto poetici. C'è la tintura a nodi nel cortile. Sembra essere una collaborazione con il negozio di fronte, così non devi andare fuori strada per trovare un posto dove provare la tintura a nodi. Ci sono tre gatti nel negozio, Xiao Heihei, Lihua e un Un grosso gatto grasso. La sua gamba è una un po' zoppo, quindi sta sdraiato tutto il giorno. La stanza era molto meglio di quanto mi aspettassi. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. L'ha trovata il mio amico e io non ci ho fatto caso molto. La sorpresa è stata che c'era un proiettore nella stanza della famiglia. Il letto era molto comodo. In termini di morbidezza e durezza, la stanza era molto pulita e calda. Era super grande. Il bagno è molto conveniente. Per un viaggio in famiglia, dato che siamo solo in due, saremmo rimasti solo per una notte. Dopo che il mio amico lasciato, sono stato avido e ho prolungato la serata per un'altra notte, godendomela da solo. Anche il capo è molto entusiasta, altamente raccomandato.
