"I don't understand why this hotel was prioritized in my search results. It's essentially a budget hotel. I chose it because I saw great reviews online, saying it was super close to the station – right across the street – and had a generous breakfast. However, when I actually got there, I found it was still a good fifteen-minute walk from the JR station. So, if location is your priority, I'd recommend other hotels right next to or even inside the JR station, like the Nikko. If you want a better quality stay, you could always take a taxi to other mid-to-high-end chain hotels in the city center; at least then you're guaranteed quality. The breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The 'exquisite Japanese breakfast with seafood' only consisted of a tiny plate each of sashimi and shrimp. I found the rest of the food to be pretty average. Don't be fooled by the luxurious seafood rice bowls in the promotional photos... As for the room, I arrived at the hotel close to 7 PM. When I entered my room, I found the window faced an outdoor staircase, which was dark and quite unsettling. The key thing is that the room photos during booking didn't show this kind of layout for this room type, so I asked to switch. The hotel, however, said it would cost extra. I thought about checking out, but it wasn't an option. So, I just paid the extra and endured two nights. It was pretty frustrating, to say the least. Service and Facilities: Don't expect much from a budget hotel's service; it's just adequate. You get two 330ml bottles of water daily, no more. The room was very damp. Even though I kept the bathroom dehumidifier running 24/7, the bedding was still damp and uncomfortable to sleep on. After all the previous issues and discussions, I couldn't be bothered to 'battle' over the bedding now. The TV has screen mirroring, but no cable TV. If you want to watch something, you have to log into your own accounts on TikTok or other apps, which is quite inconvenient for someone used to having the TV on for international news. So, overall, I definitely do not recommend this hotel."

"Almost Perfect This is arguably the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan. I'd describe it as having 'un-luxurious decor, but incredibly comfortable' and 'no fancy facilities, but extremely practical.' The room was very spacious, a full 40 square meters, with a large window facing the Toyohira River, offering expansive views and a beautiful panorama. The layout of the room was just right, with the floor tiles, furniture, and walls boasting coordinated colors and elegant materials, resulting in a very high overall level of comfort. As for the in-room facilities, they were truly thoughtful and practical, as well as easy to use. Turning on the shower only required pressing one button, saving a lot of hassle. There was also a bathtub with very user-friendly water filling and draining mechanisms. The hairdryer was powerful and dried hair quickly. My three-day, two-night stay was very pleasant. However, during check-out in the morning, as I was rushing to catch a long-distance bus, I asked the staff member handling my check-out if they could speed things up. But they continued at their own pace, completely ignoring my request and offering no response. Perhaps this is just a typical Japanese leisurely habit."

"The biggest plus for this hotel is its excellent location, right opposite the JR station. The breakfast here is also quite good; although everything is served in very small portions, the quality is decent. This time, I specifically booked the 27-square-meter Nordic Twin Room, which is considered a more spacious room type. However, it was very strange that there was no proper desk in the room, only a very small coffee table. I had to place my cosmetics on the windowsill. There was also no luggage rack, so my elderly travel companion had to put their suitcase on the floor and bend over to pack. Additionally, the room cleaning was very careless. Water stains on the faucet and hair on the floor were never cleaned. Although there was a capsule coffee machine in the room, we stayed for three days and the capsules were never refilled."

"Questo hotel non è lontano dalla via dello shopping Tanukikoji. A differenza della maggior parte degli hotel che utilizzano schede di accesso alle camere, qui si entra e si esce con una chiave. La camera singola è più grande di quanto mi aspettassi, con ampio spazio per appendere i vestiti e abbastanza spazio per aprirla anche con bagagli ingombranti.
