Hotel pet friendly a Dali

We stayed for one night at the Garden Panorama Suite with Soaking Tub at Dali Yunying Chunxiao Shuiyuan Scenic Hotel. This is a small boutique hotel, and while there are some things worth improving, the views and overall atmosphere were truly memorable. The first thing that struck us when we arrived was the view of Erhai Lake. It was absolutely exquisite and looked almost exactly like the photos online. Every corner of the hotel was incredibly photogenic, and the whole place had a very calm, peaceful and almost surreal atmosphere. The hotel itself is quite small, with a compact lobby that also serves as the breakfast area, but the incredible lake view more than made up for the limited space. The hotel is located along a cobbled street with no direct car access. The hotel contacted us beforehand to ask about our arrival time, which was appreciated, and their staff met us to collect our luggage and transported it to the hotel by motorbike. However, we initially thought someone would escort or pick us up, but instead we were given a location to follow on foot. The route was a little confusing and we got slightly lost, particularly because the final stretch goes through a very quiet back street that doesn’t really look like it leads to a hotel. It was also raining when we arrived and when we left, so we really appreciated that the hotel lent us umbrellas. The location itself is convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. However, one important point for future guests is that the streets leading back to the hotel are completely dark at night, with no street lights at all. We found this quite scary and felt it could be unsafe, especially for families with young children or anyone returning after dark. Our room had a beautiful view of Erhai Lake, but unfortunately the upkeep and cleanliness did not quite match what we expected for the price. There were quite a few dead fish and pieces of rubbish visible around the water when looking over the ledge, both from our room and from the lobby area. The balcony also had a hammock, but it did not look particularly safe to use, and there were plants growing out from the lake and into the hammock area. The room itself was also relatively small for the price, and the cleanliness could have been better. That said, there were some really lovely inclusions with our room, including afternoon tea, a photoshoot, goodnight dessert and breakfast. Breakfast was not buffet-style, but we were given a choice of mains along with some sides and a drink. The portions were on the smaller side, but everything we had was good. The photoshoot was a particularly nice touch and something we really appreciated. Three photos were included with our stay, and we actually enjoyed the experience enough to purchase additional photos beyond the included three. It was a lovely way to capture our time in Dali. We were also celebrating our child’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond by preparing a very cute birthday cake for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture and genuinely made the stay more special❤️ Overall, this hotel has an incredibly beautiful setting and a very unique atmosphere. The views are genuinely stunning and the photography opportunities are fantastic. The thoughtful extras, especially the photoshoot and birthday cake, were also highlights of our stay. However, for the price, we felt the room upkeep, cleanliness and accessibility could be improved, and the completely unlit walk back to the hotel at night is something future guests should be aware of. If the hotel were to improve the maintenance and cleanliness while addressing the nighttime access issue, it could be an exceptional boutique stay because the location and views are truly special.

My wife and I are Americans and travel full time. This means we are usually in a new place every couple weeks. We spent 10 days at Milin and I cannot speak more highly of it. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown to our room. It was spacious, clean, and had many amenities I wouldn't expect for this price point. There were slippers for us, robes for our use, two washing machines and a dryer for our use as well as detergent. The view from the roof was fantastic seeing the beautiful Cangshan mountains with misty clouds rolling over them and a view of the three pagodas in the distance. The location is surpurb. You are close enough to Dali Ancient Town where you can walk to a huge variety of restaurants without the need of a Didi (Uber or Grab here). But you are also within meters of the main road from which you can summon a Didi to take you wherever you want. Each evening we were provided a delicious custom coffee or tea by our homestay host along with cake. The in room controls were surpurb with a 110 inch projector screen, remotes for everything included heated floors. Everything was controlled by a smart device (like an Alexa). The only funny thing is that the smart device only speaks Mandarin and I definitely do not 🤣. The attempt to get Google Gemini to translate merely resulted in my two phones and the device speaking in Chinese and me having no idea what was happening. But even without the smart device, I was able to project my phone and laptop to the screen. Beyond the room quality and other perks like cake, the homestay family was fantastic. It is a husband and wife team with the father helping and an adorable son. During our stay we needed a prescription refilled and as I mentioned, we don't speak Chinese. They helped us navigate the process and within a day the medication was delivered. We also purchased an antique mask at a shop and they helped us navigate shipping back to the states. I cannot think of another place we have stayed with this kind of service and hospitality. As a westerner I felt so at home here for our 10 nights in Dali and would highly recommend Milin Hotel to anyone else looking to stay near Dali Ancient Town!

跟朋友倆人專門來大理散心，在攜程選的這家真的挖到寶，果斷五星！很幸運在大理這幾天剛好都是晴天大太陽☀️，出門打車出行很方便，去哪玩都省事。店裡有貓舍，我倆每天閑着就去擼貓，軟乎乎的小貓太治癒了，民宿還提供下午茶，酒店的工作人員都很熱情，創建了一個服務羣有什麼需求在裏面説隨時應答幫我們解決很貼心哦，坐在房間露台吹吹風聊聊天特別愜意。房間打掃得特別乾淨，住着清爽舒服，小趙管家特別有耐心，問吃的玩的都給靠譜建議，全程住着超省心，這次入住體驗直接拉滿。下次冬天一定還要再來的呢

Questo è stato l'hotel in cui ho soggiornato la mia prima notte a Dali. Me l'ha consigliato un amico e sono rimasto subito colpito dal design del suo cortile. La piscina centrale era incredibilmente fotogenica e l'atmosfera era fantastica sia di giorno che di notte! La camera era progettata con cura, con un bagno intelligente, un minifrigo e una vasca da bagno. Il frigorifero era rifornito di bevande e diverse bottiglie d'acqua, quindi non ho dovuto preoccuparmi di rimanere senza acqua. Mi hanno persino fornito sacchetti monouso e copriwater. Anche la vista dal balcone era fantastica! La pulizia era impeccabile, senza punti duri, il che rendeva l'ambiente incredibilmente pulito e confortevole! La colazione gratuita mi è stata consegnata in camera e ho potuto scegliere diverse combinazioni in base ai miei gusti. Il servizio è stato premuroso e attento: davvero eccellente! Ho trascorso una notte meravigliosa qui: un inizio perfetto per il mio viaggio a Dali!

Questa volta a Dali, ho soggiornato al Jixia Mountain Inn. La camera era molto pulita e confortevole, e il design era semplice ma sofisticato, come un rifugio appartato nella città antica. La colazione servita ogni giorno dalla locanda era nutriente, sana e deliziosa, con una presentazione squisita che faceva bella mostra di sé nelle foto. Il caffè era a volontà, e anche il tè pomeridiano e il latte alla rosa serale erano molto buoni. Anche il personale è stato molto gentile, consigliandomi con cura i posti dove mangiare e divertirsi a Dali. Abbiamo chiacchierato come amici, e anche ora che sono tornato a Shenzhen, mi mancano loro e i giorni trascorsi al Jixia Mountain Inn. Tornerò sicuramente in questa locanda la prossima volta che andrò a Dali. Dali, aspettami!

Situato all'ingresso sud della città antica di Dali, è davvero comodo per raggiungere la città antica. Avendo prenotato la camera tardi, non ho avuto una camera familiare, quindi ho prenotato una camera con tatami e due letti singoli. I due letti uniti erano davvero grandi, sufficienti per tre persone. La padrona di casa del B&B è stata molto gentile e ha risposto a tutte le mie domande. Mi ha aiutato a preparare una colazione extra per tre persone e ha anche preparato frutta e tè. Era davvero tranquillo di notte.

Le ampie finestre a tutta altezza si affacciano sul lago Erhai. L'hotel si trova anche in una zona relativamente tranquilla, a sud del corridoio ecologico. Pedalando verso nord lungo il corridoio, troverete diversi luoghi vivaci, perfetti per chi preferisce un ambiente tranquillo. Potete ammirare l'alba dal letto o uscire. La vista è splendida e non c'è affollamento. Tuttavia, la camera che abbiamo prenotato ci è sembrata un po' piccola, con poco spazio extra oltre al letto.

Un'esperienza da 10 stelle Dal mio arrivo, sono stata accolta calorosamente dalle due sorelle Mo e dai loro adorabili felini, Pirate (il gatto nero) e Sweet Tooth (quello marrone). Tutto di questo soggiorno, dalla posizione e l'arredamento alla pulizia impeccabile e al servizio, merita 10 stelle. Le sorelle Mo sono incredibilmente gentili, loquaci e disponibili, e fanno sì che l'intero alloggio sembri una casa accogliente e ben curata. Alcuni punti salienti: Dettagli premurosi: I letti sono dotati di termofori per le notti più fredde, un tocco davvero apprezzato. Servizi: Ho adorato il tranquillo cortile e la terrazza sul tetto. Servizio: Sono molto attente; ad esempio, se avete bisogno di luci da lettura più potenti, basta chiedere. L'atmosfera: Il giardino è curato con amore e contribuisce moltissimo all'atmosfera. Anche da amante dei cani quale sono, devo ammettere che Pirate e Sweet Tooth mi hanno completamente conquistata. Se cercate un soggiorno con carattere e calore, questo è il posto giusto!
