Hotel con colazione a Kyoto

Camera grande, pulita e moderna. Anche le terme in loco sono fantastiche, dato che non tutti gli hotel di Kyoto offrono questo servizio. Trovandosi a Gion, ci sono molte attrazioni turistiche nelle vicinanze e anche molti ristoranti. L'hotel è piuttosto accogliente, quindi a volte la hall può sembrare un po' angusta, soprattutto quando ci sono molti ospiti. La colazione a buffet è abbondante e variegata.

Ho soggiornato in diversi hotel del gruppo Keihan e in genere mi sono trovato bene, ma questo Kyoto Station South Hotel è particolarmente eccellente. Il personale della reception, che parla cinese, è stato incredibilmente disponibile durante il check-in, facendomi sentire come a casa. Questa volta sono stato anche fortunato, perché ho potuto fare il check-in anticipato, arrivando alle 12:00. La colazione giornaliera aveva un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo: 1980 yen per la colazione non erano affatto costosi, e con lo sconto sulla camera, era un ottimo affare. Il check-out era alle 11:00, il che era molto ragionevole, e il deposito bagagli era eccellente e mi ha fatto sentire molto al sicuro. Tuttavia, l'area self-service si è riempita rapidamente, quindi ho dovuto lasciarli al personale. Tutti i servizi erano ben pensati e comodi. L'unico piccolo inconveniente è stato il costoso asciugacapelli, che era troppo grande e occupava molto spazio nel piccolo bagno, rendendolo difficile da usare. Nel pomeriggio, è possibile gustare caffè e bevande gratuiti al ristorante. Anche la posizione è ottima; Si trova proprio di fronte all'uscita Hachijo, rendendo lo shopping, i ristoranti e i trasporti pubblici incredibilmente comodi. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue. 2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition. 3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience. 4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated. 5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space. 6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering. In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction. If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a two-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making it extremely convenient for both transportation and exploring the city. Being so close to one of Kyoto’s main hubs means you have immediate access to trains, buses, and a wide range of shops and restaurants. Right at the entrance of the property, there is a 7-Eleven, which adds a great level of convenience. Whether you need a quick snack, drinks, or travel essentials, everything is easily accessible at any time of day. Additionally, Kyoto Station itself features a large shopping complex with countless dining options, retail stores, and services, so you are truly in the center of everything. The room size is on the smaller side, but this is typical for Kyoto and was expected. Despite the limited space, the room is functional and suitable for a short stay. The hotel operates with a modern, efficient system, offering automated check-in and check-out machines, which makes the process quick and hassle-free. Amenities are not placed inside the room; instead, guests can pick up what they need from the front desk. This approach is understandable and aligns well with environmentally friendly practices. Breakfast is a highlight of the stay. The quality of the food is very good, and the staff in the breakfast area are particularly warm, attentive, and welcoming, which adds a pleasant start to the day. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The area above the bedboard was noticeably dusty, which detracts slightly from the overall cleanliness. In addition, the curtains do not fully block out the sunlight, resulting in the room becoming quite bright early in the morning. I would recommend that the hotel consider providing eye masks for guests, or alternatively, travelers should bring their own. It is also worth noting that eye masks are not available at the nearby 7-Eleven, and during my two-night stay, the strong morning sunlight consistently woke me up earlier than expected.

La camera è compatta, come ci si aspetta da un tipico hotel giapponese, ma è ben attrezzata con servizi utili come lavatrice, microonde e vasca da bagno. Sono inclusi anche asciugacapelli, bollitore elettrico, purificatore/umidificatore d'aria, aria condizionata e set di cortesia di base. Nella hall, potrete usufruire di servizi aggiuntivi come pettini, spazzolini da denti, rasoi, cotton fioc e spugne per il corpo. Il servizio di pulizia cambia gli asciugamani e porta via la spazzatura ogni giorno, a condizione che venga posizionata la calamita apposita fuori dalla porta. Caffè, tè e acqua gratuiti sono disponibili presso l'angolo self-service della hall. Dalle 15:00 alle 20:00, sono disponibili uno snack bar gratuito e un angolo sakè. Al check-in, abbiamo ricevuto 12 gettoni (per tre persone per cinque notti), che possono essere scambiati con sakè; sono disponibili anche opzioni analcoliche. L'unico inconveniente è un leggero odore di umidità e muffa nella camera. La posizione è eccellente: a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria e vicino ai minimarket. Si prega di notare che non è disponibile alcun buffet per la colazione gratuito.

Questa è la seconda volta che ho prenotato qui perché l'ultima volta che sono arrivato tutto è stato soddisfacente. La stanza è stata molto vasta rispetto ad altri hotel che sono stato in Giappone. Non solo che, il ciccione era pulito come sempre e aveva yuzu in questa volta, ma forse è perché era inverno, ma non potevo vederlo il giorno dopo, così era abbastanza triste. Il servizio era grande!! Puoi controllare e chiedere ancora di tenere il sacchetto. L’unico punto in basso che potevo dire era che le pareti erano leggermente tinite?? Credo sia dovuto al bagaglio che gli altri si muovono intorno. Non è troppo il punto che avrebbe disturbato nessuno. Ma ha catturato la mia abitudine oculare.

Soggiorno positivo, siamo stati bene. Camere abbastanza spaziose, soprattutto considerati gli standard giapponesi (noi eravamo in 4 con due bambini). La stazione ferroviaria è vicina, c’è anche un servizio navetta tra hotel e stazione, mentre le altre attrazioni sono un pò più distanti ma comunque facilmente raggiungibili con i mezzi.

Ho prenotato un soggiorno di tre notti al prezzo del Double Eleven. Sebbene non sia in una zona molto trafficata, è molto comodo per raggiungere la stazione della metropolitana, la stazione degli autobus, il supermercato di prodotti freschi e la farmacia. Il servizio non è male e la reception fa del suo meglio per risolvere qualsiasi problema. Una sera ho comprato delle grosse radici e volevo che il ristorante le tagliasse, ma mi hanno detto che non c'era nessun servizio del genere. Ho chiesto alla reception di darmene una manciata 🔪 e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto! La camera è di 18 metri quadrati e non è piccola. Non ho fatto colazione al supermercato, quindi non posso dire nulla. In breve, vale comunque la pena soggiornarci. A proposito, ogni sera si può andare al settimo piano per fare una sorgente termale per alleviare la stanchezza~

L'aria condizionata era solo così così e un po' rumorosa. La chiave della camera era inserita, ma la corrente si interrompeva subito dopo l'uscita, il che era piuttosto scomodo. AirPlay è stato un vantaggio. La colazione era affollata e disorganizzata, e non si poteva scegliere il proprio posto. La varietà era accettabile. Le torte e il pesce fritto fresco erano deliziosi. Il pane era così così.

Questo hotel offre un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La hall e le camere sono pulite e igieniche. L'unico inconveniente è che le camere all'interno dell'edificio sono come appartamenti indipendenti, il che è una novità per me in Giappone. Ma per poco più di 100 yuan a notte, colazione e cena incluse, cosa si può chiedere di più? La cena viene servita fino alle 21:00 e la colazione inizia alle 6:30 e continua fino alle 9:00, offrendo pane, noodles fritti, riso fritto e alcuni snack giapponesi. Spero che questo possa essere d'aiuto a chi sta pensando di prenotare questo hotel.
