UUtente ospiteI stayed at this 4-star hotel and received 5-star quality service. I originally booked it after being disappointed by another 5-star property, and I’m so glad I decided to try something new in a central location. The staff are truly the best asset of this hotel — from the team on the ground floor, reception, to the dining and bar staff — everyone exceeded my expectations especially this gentleman at the bar, he is knowledgeable and made me and my friend awesome drinks!
They are well-trained, professional, and always aim to make your stay comfortable and hassle-free. I will definitely be coming back.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo avuto un bel tempo di rimanere lì per qualche giorno.
Era davvero carino, ma era davvero carino. Era la più accogliente dall'inizio. Volevamo ringraziarla di nuovo durante l'uscita, ma purtroppo non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vederla. Ha fatto un giro di ospiti e tu sei fortunata ad averla.
Per quanto riguarda il colazione, ci piaceva! Una menzione speciale a chi fa il caffè. Solo una piccola nota: sarebbe bello migliorare o cambiare i piatti di caffè, così il cibo rimane caldo.
A partire da ora, scelgo questo hotel, perché rimarremo sempre in città per qualche giorno prima di andare a casa nostra.
Ci vediamo presto, e grazie per il dolce e i palloncini di compleanno!

EeaeaoI recently stayed for two nights at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort and had a genuinely enjoyable experience overall. Since the property is relatively new, the facilities felt exceptionally clean, modern, and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, with tasteful interior design, quality bedding, and a relaxing balcony view that made it easy to unwind after a day out. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, keeping everything spotless throughout my stay.
One of the highlights was definitely the staff. Everyone I interacted with was warm, professional, and eager to help, from check-in to dining and activity assistance. Their friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere that made the stay feel more personal rather than just transactional.
The private beach is another major advantage. Having direct access to a quiet beachfront made it convenient to enjoy the ocean anytime, and snorkeling there was particularly satisfying. The water was clear, marine life was visible, and the overall environment felt safe and relaxing. The pool area, restaurants, and common spaces also added to the resort-style experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Cebu who wants comfort, cleanliness, good service, and easy beach access in one place.

UUtente ospiteGreat service by Eunard. We arrived late to the hotel at 11pm because our domestic flight from manila got delayed. He arranged for us breakfast at 3:45am to be sent to our hotel room as we were planning to go to oslob for the whale shark watching at 5am. Aside from that, there was great first aid medical assistance when needed. There was free shuttle service to airport, two swimming pools and gym & spa facilities. Housekeeping service was prompt and friendly too. Highly recomended. It is also pretty near to SM city seaside, a huge mall with almost everything you could ever want, although there is also a mall connected to the hotel too with a convenience store for light snacks at night.

PPaNicIl resort è curatissimo e il personale è impeccabile da tutti i punti di vista. Pulizia perfetta. La stanza carina, il bagno enorme e comodissimo tuttavia sia in camera che in bagno l'odore di umido è molto forte nonostante l'aria condizionata funzioni molto bene e ci siano anche ottimi ventilatori a soffitto. Comunque il letto e le lenzuola non odorano di umido e quindi va molto bene. Il letto e i cuscini sono conodi. La colazione è pazzesca! La scelta è infinita sia per occidentali che asiatici. La quaita' del cibo e del servizio molto alta. La spiaggia è curata, si può fare snorkelling in una area ristretta e cintrollata, comunque nulla di che...la piscina è bella anche se troppo affollata. In generale non è una location particolarmente interessante e i dintorni del resort sono proprio in pessime condizioni e il traffico è terribile per cui i tempi di percorrenza in auto sono lunghissimi.

Pros:
- It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel!
- Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people.
- Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless.
- I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help.
Cons:
- The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours.
- The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences.
- The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby.
- Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed at the Shanghai-La Mactan Cebu for a week. The resort is absolutely gorgeous with incredible employees- everyone is helpful and courteous. The resort has multiple daily activities including snorkeling which were great. We tried most of the restaurants and they were great! Acqua which was Italian was tasty ; Buko Bar was also yummy! Highly recommended for a relaxing hotel with good pools and calm environment.

The place was extremely nice, peaceful, and relaxing, and the staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed the breakfast in the morning was also great and satisfying. On our last night, we treated ourselves to a couple’s massage, which was absolutely awesome and the perfect way to end our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

Aqua play was closed due to maintenance. Playroom was not free for the type of booking that I availed which sucks cos it says on the fine print that it’s free. It made my toddler so disappointed cos of wrong info. Beach was dirty and low tide when we came. Swimming pool was dirty. The only highlight i guess was the breakfast buffet, lots to choose from and delicious.. but overall it’s kid friendly, although we just came in at the wrong time. Some facilities needs some maintenance and some Korean guests needs to know where the trash bin is located. Ts

BBoris AtamanenkoIt's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.
