DDenden CustodioHa avuto un soggiorno sorprendente a Nustar Hotel Cebu. Le camere erano spaziose, pulite e bellissime, con splendide viste sul mare. Il servizio era eccezionalela gente era attenta, calda, e professionale. Le strutture, soprattutto la piscina e le opzioni di cena, hanno reso l'esperienza ancora più memorabile. Certamente uno dei migliori posti per soggiornare a Cebu. Molto consigliato!

EExtraordinaire_spicymommaBest family hotel. All staffs from reception, to bell boys to the restaurants are all so welcoming and accommodating. They have this huge kidzone play place for kids and attendants are so caring , attentive and kind. We really enjoyed all the resorts facilities. My son & niece enjoyed the pool , beach and kidzone. U should join their Shangrila membership to get gift like snorkel set use, ice cream or the 2hr pass from kidzone which is really the best of the 3.

UUtente anonimoWe booked two rooms for 7 nights at the Sheraton Cebu Mactan. We are two families traveling together with three young children and a pregnant wife. We were excited for a relaxing vacation, but after just 4 days, we wanted to check out early. The hotel agreed to refund only one room (around 900–1000 USD), but refused to refund the second room. This decision was made even though the hotel is completely full (Chinese New Year, peak season). Our rooms could have been sold to other guests immediately, so there was no financial risk to the hotel. Why We Wanted to Leave Early: 1. Food Issues (Very Important for Muslim Families) The hotel is in an isolated location with no restaurants nearby. The on-site restaurants serve mostly spicy Asian food, often containing pork. As Muslim families with young children, we cannot eat spicy food or pork. This made every meal a struggle. 2. Transportation (A Nightmare) Getting a taxi is extremely difficult. · When we wanted to leave the hotel to go to the city, we often waited over an hour for a taxi. · When we tried to return to the hotel from the city (like Cebu), we waited up to 2 hours because drivers refuse to come to this hotel. · Even within the Mactan area, finding a taxi was not easy. · The hotel offers a transfer service, but it costs 2–3 times more than a regular taxi. For a family, this is not a practical solution. 3. Maintenance Issues On the very first day, we reported that the sink was clogged – water drained very slowly. We were promised it would be fixed. After 3 days, nothing had been done. On day 3, I personally told the General Manager, Mr. Robin Bernard, about the problem. He said: ”No problem, I will solve it.” But even after his promise, nothing happened. Finally, on day 4, housekeeping came to our room. We showed them the problem by running the water. They saw it immediately and called an engineer, who fixed it within 20 minutes. Mr. Bernard's promise meant nothing. The regular staff fixed it. Our Conversation with Management We requested an early checkout. Mr. Ross Bautista genuinely tried to help us. He suggested a possible refund for one room and arranged a meeting with his superior to discuss our case. That meeting was with General Manager Robin Bernard. Here is what happened: · He claimed he ”knew the situation”, but could not explain any details. We had to tell him everything again: about the children, the pregnant wife, the food, the transportation. · Throughout the conversation, he was arrogant and condescending. It felt like he was not listening, just waiting for us to finish. · We explained that the hotel was fully booked (Chinese New Year, peak season), so letting us leave early would not hurt his business. The rooms would be sold again immediately. · His response was shocking. He looked at us and said, word for word: ”You should not think about my business. It's my concern.” Then, one minute later, when we asked for understanding, he said: ”I have to think about my business.” There is no logic. It felt like he just wanted to show his power and punish us for asking. The result? Nothing changed. Ross Bautista tried, but his hands were tied. Robin Bernard simply confirmed his original decision and showed zero empathy. As long as Mr. Robin Bernard is the General Manager, we will never return to this hotel. His arrogance, empty promises, and complete lack of care for families with children and special dietary needs are destroying the reputation of this Sheraton. To other Muslim families or anyone traveling with young children: I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel. Here, your needs will be ignored if the manager does not feel like helping.

PPaNicIl resort è curatissimo e il personale è impeccabile da tutti i punti di vista. Pulizia perfetta. La stanza carina, il bagno enorme e comodissimo tuttavia sia in camera che in bagno l'odore di umido è molto forte nonostante l'aria condizionata funzioni molto bene e ci siano anche ottimi ventilatori a soffitto. Comunque il letto e le lenzuola non odorano di umido e quindi va molto bene. Il letto e i cuscini sono conodi. La colazione è pazzesca! La scelta è infinita sia per occidentali che asiatici. La quaita' del cibo e del servizio molto alta. La spiaggia è curata, si può fare snorkelling in una area ristretta e cintrollata, comunque nulla di che...la piscina è bella anche se troppo affollata. In generale non è una location particolarmente interessante e i dintorni del resort sono proprio in pessime condizioni e il traffico è terribile per cui i tempi di percorrenza in auto sono lunghissimi.

UUtente ospiteочень хороший небольшой отель (позиционирует себя как бутик). прекрасное питание. цены несколько выше чем скажем в городке, но не сильно. уборка, обслуживание и проч. на уровне. есть свой небольшой но очень красивый риф с кучей живущих там черепах (правда заход в воду не супер, но там везде так) надо и минусы упомянуть: 1. в душе в номере на 2 этаже ну совсем слабый напор воды, ну просто тонкая струйка (и холодной и горячей) 2. далеко от аэропорта (но хорошие места на Себу всегда так :( ) спасибо хозяину отеля Майку за прекрасно проведенное время и внимание к гостям! :)

Breakfast buffet was basic and had plenty flies but it’s a resort so it’s pretty much expected. Could appreciate some sort of a deterrent . Hotel beach front was great compared to crimson. Would suggest some light music for ambience. Location of the hotel is convenient. The children enjoyed the 3 swimming pools and the Mrs loved the spa. Overall they lived up the 4 star resort hotel experience and expectations.

The resort itself is well-maintained, with lovely landscaping and comfortable amenities. The serene setting really enhances the overall experience, making it a great place to unwind for a two-night stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the friendly staff. From the reception to the poolside attendants, everyone was warm and welcoming. The pool guys were particularly nice, adding to the relaxed vibe of the resort. However, I did find that the food needs significant improvement. While the dining options were ample, the quality and variety fell short of expectations. To truly enhance the guest experience, I believe that more attention to the menu and food preparation is necessary. This aspect would play a crucial role in my decision to return. Another area that requires attention is the communication regarding trips and activities. Unfortunately, we often found ourselves headed to the wrong locations, only to be redirected to another part of the island. Clearer information about where to go for excursions would be greatly beneficial for guests. In summary, Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a beautiful destination with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. However, improvements in food quality and clearer communication regarding activities are essential for a more satisfying experience. With these adjustments, I could see myself returning, as the stunning views and peaceful environment are truly commendable.

UUtente ospiteI booked for a room with pool view which is more expensive than the rest of the rooms but i was greatly disappointed. We were placed in a room with a roof view and the view of another building! It was a waste of money! We only get to see the roof of something! Never again would i be paying extra money for a pool view when the hotel will not give us such kind of room as advertised. They said they will transfer us to a room with a pool view but it did not happen. We kept on waiting but it did not happen until we gave up. The receptionist was a little disrespectful and impatient. Worse still, they do not allow guests who have checked in the hotel to use the pool with inflatable play set and slides. I was mislead into thinking that guests can use the pool with inflatable play set for free. The hotel guests have to pay P600 per person in order for one to be able to use such pool and slides. I guess families with children have been more disappointed than me knowing that they and their kids could not use such pool for free. So those who will try to book this hotel hoping their kids can enjoy the pool with inflatable play set and slides for free, think again. You will be greatly disappointed because you will only be able to use the ordinary pools.

AAina M. L. LoronaI had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy. My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi. To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark. The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering. Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out. My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner. My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A. I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.
