"We had a wonderful stay at Lex Hotel Cebu from September 4–7. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast buffet—it was impressive with so many food choices. From fresh vegetable salads, puto sikwate, and main dishes like lechon belly and beef, to live cooking stations where you can request pasta or omelets, plus a wide variety of breads, croissants, and desserts. It was a perfect way to start each day.
As returning guests, we also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of receiving coupons for free drinks and a round of table pool. It made us feel valued and welcomed back.
The staff deserve special mention—they were very accommodating, always ready to assist, and made every request easy to handle.
There were a couple of minor downsides: in our room, we could hear some traffic noise from the road, although it became tolerable after a while. The basement parking lot was also a bit tight, especially for larger vehicles like our Ford Ranger. Fortunately, the staff were always there to help guide us in maneuvering, which made it manageable.
Overall, Lex Hotel Cebu remains a great choice with excellent service, delicious food, and warm hospitality. We’ll gladly stay here again."

Hanno lavorato duramente per mantenere gli edifici in buono stato e la colazione a buffet merita sicuramente di essere provata. Se dovessi tornare, organizzerei un viaggio di 4 giorni e 3 notti.

EeaeaoI recently stayed for two nights at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort and had a genuinely enjoyable experience overall. Since the property is relatively new, the facilities felt exceptionally clean, modern, and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, with tasteful interior design, quality bedding, and a relaxing balcony view that made it easy to unwind after a day out. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, keeping everything spotless throughout my stay.
One of the highlights was definitely the staff. Everyone I interacted with was warm, professional, and eager to help, from check-in to dining and activity assistance. Their friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere that made the stay feel more personal rather than just transactional.
The private beach is another major advantage. Having direct access to a quiet beachfront made it convenient to enjoy the ocean anytime, and snorkeling there was particularly satisfying. The water was clear, marine life was visible, and the overall environment felt safe and relaxing. The pool area, restaurants, and common spaces also added to the resort-style experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Cebu who wants comfort, cleanliness, good service, and easy beach access in one place.

UUtente ospiteHo goduto il mio soggiorno nel Crimson Resort, la camera è grande e spaziosa per le famiglie, il personale è amichevole e ben addestrato, le quattro piscine sono enormi e divertenti e il colazione giornaliera è delizioso. Ci sono state presentate le feste di schiuma in piscina adulta e in piscina Crimzone, il parco di gioco in Crimson, l'attività di raccolta di fagioli, la snorkeling e le strutture complete della stanza. Big shout to Clint in breakfast per il suo servizio molto caldo a me e a mia figlia.
Coni:
- Non c’era nessuna custodia di casa il secondo giorno della mia permanenza che non mi era stato informato in anticipo, non credo che fosse professionale.
- Non consentono la consegna di cibo in, ma il cibo nel resort non è così delizioso da avere quotidianamente (ho provato sisig, nasal e pizza).
- È necessario prendere o prendere un taxi per andare in città di Cebu (e affrontare il giardino) perché la navetta funziona solo 3 volte al giorno, quindi non è conveniente se si vuole esplorare Cebu.

Pros:
- It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel!
- Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people.
- Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless.
- I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help.
Cons:
- The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours.
- The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences.
- The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby.
- Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

The place was extremely nice, peaceful, and relaxing, and the staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed the breakfast in the morning was also great and satisfying. On our last night, we treated ourselves to a couple’s massage, which was absolutely awesome and the perfect way to end our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

UUtente ospiteI have been using Costabella for nearly 20 years and have always considered it a pleasant, well maintained hotel. In fact I even got married here! However, during my most recent stay, the experience fell noticeably short of expectations.
We booked a poolside room and, after check in, I was genuinely surprised to find that the room was on the third floor. Based on my many previous stays, I had always understood poolside rooms to be those adjacent to the pool at ground level. If you are booking a poolside room, be aware that this may not be the case and expectations should be managed accordingly.
The room itself was a little dated in style, but it was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Housekeeping was consistent throughout the stay, which helped offset the older décor.
The pool area is relatively small but generally well maintained. Unfortunately, it was extremely crowded throughout the day due to the large number of day pass visitors. As a result, there were no chairs or loungers available for hotel guests for most of the day, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the beach area was clean and pleasant.
The food was the main let down. The buffet breakfast would rate no more than 4 out of 10. Much of the food had not been replenished, including empty juice and coffee stations, and what remained was cold and unappetising. However, it was better on the second day.
Dinner was equally disappointing. Several main courses were served cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen twice. In the end, we cancelled two seafood dishes altogether, as reheating raised concerns about food quality and safety. The steak, which was once a highlight of Costabella for me, was extremely tough and far below the standard I have previously enjoyed.
Overall, Costabella still has many positive qualities, but this stay did not reflect the standards I have previously associated with the resort and this will be my last visit. Unless the quality of the food and the management of guest capacity improve, I would find it difficult to recommend Costabella based on this recent experience.

Apprezzo davvero l'aiuto, E anche il trattamento che ci hanno dato è stato un piacevole esperienza che ho lavorato anche in un settore dei servizi e questo è davvero importante avere questi servizi eccellenti per sostenere l'attività, Chiunque sia il proprietario di questo hotel, si prega di apprezzare il duro lavoro di Francis il manager al bar e Ruth im davvero felice di quello che ha fatto per noi durante il nostro soggiorno, il personale è ben addestrato, e la camera è in generale grande, e pulire le strutture sono grandi:)

UUtente anonimoThis was my second time staying at Solea Hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of food choices, and the room rates are affordable, which makes the hotel a good value for money.
However, I was slightly disappointed with the check-in process this time. We booked three rooms, but upon arrival, only one room was available. We were allowed to check in to the first room and were asked to wait there while the other two rooms were being prepared.
Although the official check-in time is 3:00 PM, we only received the keys for the remaining two rooms at around 5:40 PM. The staff kept telling us that the room keys would be “to be followed,” but despite several follow-ups, the waiting time took around 2–3 hours, which was quite long. Since the rooms were booked online in advance, we were expecting them to be ready on time.
That said, this was the only time I experienced this issue. During my first stay, everything went smoothly and I had no complaints. I still appreciate the hotel’s amenities and affordability, and I hope the check-in process can be improved in the future.
