GGordonThis is a hidden gem and we highly recommend this resort!
Pros:
- It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel!
- Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people.
- Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless.
- I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help.
Cons:
- The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours.
- The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences.
- The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby.
- Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

He just watched us and not even helping us to carry it to the hotel

BBarbie AngelioI had a great stay overall! The staff were amazing — very friendly and welcoming, including the security guard who was always polite and helpful. The room was comfortable, but it could get a bit noisy at times, and the Wi-Fi was quite slow. Still, the warm service really made the experience enjoyable.

TtravelisthebestUn posto accogliente in cui soggiornare. Il personale e il direttore fanno di tutto per accontentarti e fare tutto ciò che chiedi. Ho fatto il check-in molto presto perché ho viaggiato tutta la notte, il che è stato premuroso da parte del direttore. Ho fatto il check-out presto il mio ultimo giorno, quindi è andato tutto bene. Ho chiesto la pulizia della stanza, un asciugacapelli e di sostituire le bottiglie d'acqua nella stanza. La stanza è spaziosa con 2 letti. La doccia è essenziale perché l'acqua non defluisce correttamente. La colazione è molto essenziale e potrebbe essere migliorata aggiungendo un po' di varietà, come cereali e un po' di frutta. Ottima piscina e posizione, vicino al supermercato e al McDonalds. La spiaggia di Panagsma è a 10-15 minuti di auto.

JJohn AlombroRecentemente sono rimasto all'Hotel Eloisa Royal Suites per due notti. In generale, l'esperienza era buona, ma niente di speciale. Il processo di check-in era semplice, e il personale del desk front era gentile, anche se non troppo amichevole. La mia stanza era pulita e aveva le strutture di base come una TV, un aria condizionata e un piccolo caffè, ma i mobili sembravano un po’ date e la materna era troppo forte per me.
Uno dei principali scontri è stato il rumore.L'hotel è situato vicino a una strada occupata, e il suono dei veicoli che passano attraverso , soprattutto alla notte , era davvero fastidioso e lo rendeva difficile dormire. Le finestre non sembravano bloccare gran parte del rumore, che era deludente.
La posizione è conveniente vicino a negozi, ristoranti e trasporti pubblici che è stato un grande plus. Non ho provato il ristorante dell'hotel, ma il colazione complimentare era piuttosto fondamentale: tostapane, uova, e caffè. Il Wi-Fi era gratuito, ma un po' lento durante le notti.
In breve, è un posto decente per rimanere se si cerca qualcosa di conveniente e centralmente situato, ma essere preparati per il rumore e il comfort limitato.

Every time we leave the room messy in the morning when we return at night it’s already cleaned up. Except the room was not well lit.there’s only 1 light and water was dripping from the air condition. If not just for the Sinulog rate I’d probably give it a higher score

CCERLAN BALTAZARThis is not my first time staying at this hotel, and overall, the location and price are acceptable. However, there’s an issue that has become increasingly frustrating, and I hope something can be done about it in the future.
During my first stay, I noticed the hotel advertised a mini refrigerator in the room, which was a nice feature. Unfortunately, I found there was no mini refrigerator in the room when I arrived. I didn't make a fuss about it, assuming it was an oversight or perhaps not included in the room type I had booked.
On my second visit, I specifically asked the front desk at check-in whether the room had a mini refrigerator, to which they assured me, ”Yes, sir,” it was equipped with one. I was pleased to hear this, expecting a positive change. When I entered my room, I found the mini refrigerator and noticed that it was running—at least the indicator light was on. I placed one of the complimentary water bottles inside, thinking I might want something cold later.
However, in the middle of the night, when I woke up, I checked the water to see if it had cooled down after several hours. To my disappointment, although the mini refrigerator was on and the indicator light was lit, I didn’t hear the usual compressor sound that signals it was actually cooling. I even checked the temperature settings, which were set to the maximum, confirming my suspicion that the refrigerator wasn’t functioning properly. It seemed to be there for show, rather than providing the service that was advertised.
When I checked out, I made sure to inform the front desk about my experience, both during this stay and the previous one. Moving forward, I’ll be more proactive in asking for assistance from the front desk if the mini refrigerator continues to be a problem. If this equipment isn’t functioning, it might be better not to advertise it as a feature at all, so guests aren’t misled into thinking they’re receiving something they’re not.

BBoris AtamanenkoIt's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.

Quando sono entrato nella mia stanza, ho immediatamente notato l'assenza di bagni standard come sapone e una tostatura di denti, che si allontana dalla solita esperienza di RedDoorz.
