Hotel sul mare a Cebu

We enjoyed our stay at the resort, especially as a family with young children. However, the bathtub in our initial room in the ocean wing was clogged. Luckily, we were moved to another room in the same building. They managed the issue well and offered us some freebies from the resort. We will definitely return, as it has become our son's favorite resort in Cebu.

The best stay we had was at this resort in Cebu,we booked a villa and it was absolutely amazing experience. We had private room for our breakfast and had special cocktail and canapes which was amazing .The restaurant food was also so good.The in room breakfast Setup was done well ,all services in the villa was excellent . Resort is beautiful and very peaceful aswell.The spa treatment was excellent. Service for drop of to the airport was so convenient aswell. The staff are so lovely, friendly and so helpful.This place is a dream will definitely would love to come back and stay again.

La terza mattina sono andato alla colazione a buffet dell'hotel e ho scelto un altro sapore. Dopo cena, siamo andati alla spiaggia dell'hotel per giocare. L'hotel ha fornito kayak gratuito per mezz'ora. Abbiamo anche preso il ginseng di mare, che era così denso e denso. La gente del posto ci ha detto che potevamo mangiarlo, ma è stato un peccato che non c'era modo di elaborarlo se l'hotel potesse fornirlo, quanto è buono il trattamento come in Cina. La sera puoi prendere il motoscafo dello staff dell'hotel fuori dall'isola e puoi prendere un autobus tuk-tuk alla porta. Se riesci a parlare con duecento persone, può portarti a Mobao Town, mangiare e fare shopping , e chiedigli di aspettarti e di riportarti indietro allo stesso prezzo. Molto felice. Dopo essere rimasto per tre giorni, la prima notte sono stato morso da una pulce e mi ha solo morso. Era a letto perché la mattina dopo avevo sempre delle macchie rosse in più sul corpo. Si spera che la gestione in questo settore venga rafforzata. Per il resto tutto soddisfacente. L'unico inconveniente è che i morsi delle pulci mi fanno prudere.

Fantastic stay and real island getaway!  View and waters are amazing, food was included in our stay (breakfast and dinner) and there are many free activities to take part. The view are spectacular! The rooms were clean and spacious for 2 pax- can fit up to 4 pax.  Favorite activity was to fish from the lagoon and watch the baby shark (white shark) feeding at 1130am and chilling at the hammock infront of the rooms.  Massages are quality if you want some wave asmr as they are done in the outdoor huts but only can do 1 hour blocks and require quick booking/advance booking as the masseuses are limited.  wifi connections are good islandwise but it’s more of chillax resort. The rooms have netflix and youtube.  do bring some night snacks or simple lunch as their restaurants close early at 9pm and ferry out are only during the lunch time

Siamo stati lì con mia figlia solo per alcuni giorni e abbiamo trascorso del tempo a prendere il brevetto subacqueo PADIS grazie all'allenatore Lin e al responsabile del centro immersioni John, a visitare il pittoresco mercato alimentare di Mallball e a osservare la vita locale in riva al mare. L'acqua del mare è limpida come il vetro, con una ricca fauna marina anche vicino alla spiaggia, e i dintorni sono fantastici: montagne, vegetazione tropicale, ristoranti e hotel di lusso lungo la spiaggia e, naturalmente, le barche locali dall'aspetto rustico e incantevole. Il cibo era delizioso, il personale cordiale. Tutto era il massimo!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Orchid, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a  view of the ocean over the treetops. It felt peaceful and private — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. The staff were exceptional — so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They helped me plan a surprise proposal for my fiancé, offering suggestions for the perfect location and ultimately arranging for us to use their private rooftop. They also coordinated a romantic dinner there just for us, ensuring we had complete privacy. It was an unforgettable evening, and I’m so grateful for the care they put into making it so special. The resort arranged our transportation both from our previous hotel in Mactan and later to Cebu Pier 1, which made travel stress-free. We also booked canyoneering and an introductory scuba dive through them. The instructors were fantastic — very patient and reassuring, especially when I became nervous underwater and couldn’t finish the dive. While the resort is a bit removed from the busier Panagsama Beach area, that was a huge plus for us. We wanted somewhere quiet, scenic, and romantic, and Blue Orchid delivered exactly that. The restaurant doesn’t have a massive menu, but the food was consistently delicious, portions were perfect, and prices were very fair. Even though there wasn’t a kettle in the room, hot water, coffee and tea was readily available and it was never an inconvenience since everything was close by. We also appreciated the mosquito net over the bed — it added to the tropical charm, though we didn’t need it because insects were never an issue. We even spotted a tiny gecko in our room upon arrival, but it was harmless and quickly disappeared — just part of the island’s character! Overall, the Blue Orchid was everything we hoped for: quiet, romantic, and welcoming. The staff helped make one of the most meaningful moments of our lives absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend it, especially to LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a peaceful and genuinely inclusive place to stay in Moalboal. When we do a return trip to the area, we will stay here again. 

This turned out to be an incredible choice for our family; Though it is a refurbished property, the rooms' size is very good. The beach was nice and the most astonishing thing for us was the small rock formation near its beach, which hosted an incredible variety of fish and other forms of life. Just a pair of swimming googles or the snorkeling rental equipment here could get one ready in a matter of minutes from your room. The breakfast spread was good and the 'chocolate hour' in the afternoon was a hit amongst all kids and adults.

Ottima posizione, appartata rispetto alle strade trafficate, ma al contempo sicura grazie ai sentieri illuminati e al servizio di sicurezza presente lungo il percorso che conduce all'hotel.

La posizione è perfetta. Puoi prendere qualsiasi trasporto pubblico e sarai li' quando uscirai. Il personale è molto ben formato, molto gentile e molto gentile. Tutto sembrava molto pulito e anche se l'hotel non era così grande, avevano un badminton/volobal court. Ci sono abbastanza spiaggia davanti per camminare. Per una spiaggia Lapu-lapu, la loro spiaggia è abbastanza pulita. Hanno un sacco di divano in salotto coperto per godere la spiaggia, anche sotto il sole.La piscina è piccola, ma si sente pulita. Abbiamo pagato un extra 500 per ottenere l'”aggiornamento” per la vista dell'oceano e è stato il nostro errore più grande che ci ha causato di perdere il sonno.Apparentemente, la stanza che ci era stata assegnata era parte di una stanza adiacente e l'isolamento sonoro era terribile. Tutto ciò che accade nell'altra stanza e, purtroppo, il coppia nell'altra stanza andava a suonare molto forte (la ragazza urlava) fino a circa 5 di mattina. Non consigliamo il buffet per colazione, soprattutto se paghi l'altre 1,100 per un'altra persona. Molte scelte, piatti di carne molto saldati e non sappiamo esattamente cosa l'ha causata, ma abbiamo avuto una stomaca dopo colazione.

We stayed at Vistamar Resort in Mactan from October 11–13, and overall, it was a wonderful and restful experience. The facilities are a bit outdated, but everything worked fine. Rooms were clean and comfortable, linens fresh, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The Wi-Fi connection was good, and we enjoyed having free access to Netflix in our room. Food was okay, and we appreciated the 30% discount for in-house guests at the restaurant. Corkage is allowed without any fees, which was a plus. They even gave us complimentary use of the billiards table for my daughter’s birthday—something we truly appreciated. The beach was clean and calm, perfect for swimming or relaxing. We hope the beach hours could be extended from 6 AM to 6 PM, so guests can enjoy early morning dips or sunset views. The pool area could use a bit more maintenance, but it’s not a big issue. Despite some aging facilities, the quiet, peaceful environment made it an ideal place to unwind. We’re grateful for the experience and will definitely be coming back. 🫶🏻
