Hotel a 3 stelle in West Midlands, Regno Unito

Sono arrivato sabato pomeriggio e ho trascorso la sera, poi sono andato domenica mattina. Il WiFi non funziona in questa stanza, che non è buono. Il tempo è un po' caldo, ma grazie a un fan nella stanza, la stanza è raffreddata a notte, il letto è grande (grande abbastanza per due persone) e la stanza è spaziosa con scrivania e sedie. Il bagno è ovviamente datato, ma le strutture funzionano bene, le tubature sembrano un po' vecchie, quindi potrebbe esserci un odore. Ci sono molti canali televisivi da scegliere. Si possono vedere alcuni edifici, l'autostrada e il ponte fuori dalla finestra e la scena non è niente da scrivere a casa. Ho camminato attraverso il centro della città di Coventry per arrivare all'hotel e le strade sono interessanti da guardare.

The check-in process was very easy. Friendly check-in staff behind the counter. Clean room. Nice location however, room was very cold (no heating although there are central heating available in the rooms. Hot shower, clean towels and beddings. Only 1 pillow. TV in room. Only 1 lift in operation.

Il parcheggio è situato nelle vicinanze e offre un ambiente sicuro. La colazione è disponibile già dalle 6:30, con la possibilità di scegliere una colazione calda all'inglese, una soluzione ideale per risparmiare tempo. Nel complesso, è stata un'esperienza molto piacevole.

The location of the hotel was great, I quite enjoyed not having to hassle too much to get to the hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and was checked in right away. We were on the 7th floor which was great, had a beautiful view from our room. I only have two problems with this hotel, the elevators were really slow and the AC in our room was leaking!

Firstly, the staff we encountered were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The reception entrance was promising, being bright and modern with a very pleasant receptionist and smooth check in. However, our room lacked appeal, comfort or anything that made one wish to stay in it for longer than a night. To be fair, we were asked twice on check in, if we would like to move to a different floor. I jokingly asked if there was a problem with the room we'd been allocated but was told no. We were allocated Room 7. Whilst it appeared clean to the best the facilities allowed, it was unpleasant. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared water damaged and rotten. The sink was cracked. The radiator was rusted by urine splashes as situated beside the toilet and the shower was situated in a recess with no curtain or screen, so quickly spilled on to the floor making the bath mat soaked. The lock on the bathroom door didn't work. There was no hair dryer. Only one USB point within the very small TV which only charged if it was on. Being on the ground floor, our window opened out on to the narrow walk way and one poor man walked into it on his way to reception. SatNav instructions take you to a dead end further down the road and several attempts at finding our way around the God awful roundabout eventually led us to a very small parking area at the front of the hotel. Breakfast at 9.00 pm was initially disappointing. One plate was available, no bread for the toaster, no milk for the cereals. One sausage, no beans, no bacon. More food did eventually appear, as did plates, and it was very nice. The croissants and pastries were lovely too. The coffee machine was good. As mentioned, the staff were very good and we requested an iron which was bought to us quickly with a board by a lovely young man. The bed was awful. Rock hard and not much comfort from a meagre duvet that was so thin that initially we thought it had been forgotten. Anyway, one night, cheap and basic. Served its purpose but would look elsewhere and pay more. Think we were just unlucky.

5 stars. Exceptionally clean room, outstanding staff and an unbeatable location. Everything you need is within walking distance and the surrounding shops and amenities make it the perfect spot. Friendly people throughout and an altogether excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Il 5° piano, ma non è una grande vista, perché è cosi costruito quel lato dell'hotel. Aria condizionata alta e squilla. Tuttavia, grande camera per un gemella, buona dimensione bagno, grande doccia, lana pulita e camera, comodi letti, buona illuminazione e buone opzioni di colazione. - Bargain!

L'Holiday Inn è ben posizionato a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Birmingham New Street, il personale è molto cordiale e la colazione è ottima, le camere sono pulite e ideali per una breve pausa

Birmingham Premier Inn (New Street Station) is located above the Birmingham New Street Station, next to the McDonalds. It might be a bit confusing to locate the hotel when you reached the station. After you exited from the gantry at the Birmingham New Street station, you will be able to see escalators located in front of the Tickets station. Go up the escalator and you will see a lot of shops e.g. Jo Malone, Tesco Express and restaurants such as Pho, Mrs Chew Kitchen. Once you are at the 2nd level (New Street Station), locate the Jo Malone shop. When you are outside the Jo Malone shop, you shall be able to se a clothes boutique known as Fat Face. Walk towards Fat Face and on your left, you should be able to see a walkway leading outside. Walk towards the walkway and you shall see Mini Sou on your right side. Once you are outside of the building, you will see McDonald on your right. Premier Inn hotel's entrance is just next to McDonald's entrance. Location of Birmingham Premier Inn (New Street) is fantastic. Despite there were reviewers that there might be some beggars but they did not bother me when I was there. Taxis are a bit tricky and right outside the hotel, there are tram railways and that means that most of the times, cars will generally not be around that area. If you want to get a taxi, you will need to walk to the main street where the major deparmental stores are, e.g. BullRing Birmingham. I would stay at Premier Inn again if I am in Birmingham area.

La camera era pulita, con diverse opzioni di illuminazione, un letto comodo e ho dormito benissimo. La temperatura della camera era perfetta, con la possibilità di regolare l'ambiente a proprio piacimento; non l'ho cambiata perché era tutto a posto. Anche la doccia calda e tutti i servizi presenti nel bagno (come bagnoschiuma, shampoo e balsamo, asciugamani puliti e morbidi) hanno reso il mio soggiorno piacevole e ho sentito di aver fatto la scelta giusta. La colazione a buffet era inclusa e c'era un bollitore a disposizione e diverse opzioni per preparare una o due bevande extra in camera (se lo si desidera). Altri servizi offerti, che non ho utilizzato, erano asciugacapelli, ferro e asse da stiro e cassaforte. La camera era dotata di una scrivania e una sedia da ufficio, TV con molti canali disponibili senza costi aggiuntivi, un'altra zona salotto con una poltrona morbida e uno sgabello di fronte, per chi desidera leggere o rilassarsi e non ha voglia di sdraiarsi a letto. L'arredamento della camera era tranquillo e ho apprezzato il grande specchio, così puoi vederti bene prima di uscire. L'hotel si trova a 15-20 minuti a piedi dal centro di Birmingham e dalla stazione ferroviaria (New Street). Nelle vicinanze ci sono molti negozi o altri ristoranti, se desiderate altro. Il personale della reception è stato cordiale e disponibile per qualsiasi ulteriore domanda, mi hanno custodito i guanti che avevo dimenticato 😂🙏 e il check-in/out è stato veloce e senza ritardi. Nel complesso, consiglierei questo hotel.
