Hotel a 5 stelle in Goa, India

Very good stay...always recommended -Excellent location, near to baga beach -Room size is quite good and so the decor -The balcony is cozy and so the river view -staff is excellent and lobby is as grand as expected -breakfast spread is good Only downside is, external bike vendor were not willing to rent the bike due to local vendor issue.

Having arrived at st Regis Goa our expectations were high and we were truly looking forward to spending Chinese new year eve. On arrival everything seemed a bit chaotic in the lobby and then I soon found out that they were expecting a wedding and the next day was fully booked because of that. As we got through the day I noticed that the staff were all paying attention mostly to the wedding preparations and not the in house guests. From this hotel I expected a better service to be honest and even the so called special butler assigned to us was responding with delays of almost an hour which is not nice for such a so called high standard hotel. Nonetheless we enjoyed our stay but decided against having dinner at the property because even though I mentioned it is Chinese new year no special do up was done for us so even though I did not expect given that we were in India and they don’t celebrate obviously but since I did mention at check in this would have brought out Regis standards in a big way as they are known for worldwide but no special thing was organized for us. The shower drainage was blocked and I had to unplug the cover just to let the water drain out. This should be checked before guests arrive. Even the towels had this strange odour which only means it was not laundered properly. Otherwise the property is great but they should improve for the standard they portray and the rates they charge. Also another point to note is that while booking through trip.com I booked a better level room and after I paid it was immediately cancelled and refund was provided but strangely when I tried to re-book the price had gone up significantly and this is not a nice thing to do to guests. Now I’m not sure if this was the booking app failure or failure on part of the hotel but notable to mention nonetheless. So I opted for the normal lagoon room instead because I felt cheated and didn’t want to pay more for something that was clearly indicated. Pool was fantastic and room was decent but big mosquito problem on the property. We actually stayed next door the previous night at holiday inn and didn’t notice mosquitos as much as here so beware and get enough repellant. The carpet in the room also needs to be deep cleaned as it was literally black with dirt. Even spider web in the room. Shocking for a Regis hotel. Hats of to the garden cleaning ladies who do a fabulous job and the valet and entrance staff and the guy who gave us a nice welcome and welcome drink. Breakfast was fantastic so speaks volumes of the chefs and staff behind the scenes. Highlight of the hotel no doubt. Best one so far in India!

The hotel is in a great location. Very friendly welcome. We were shown to our room and things explained. The balcony was small but ample. The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue. The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter. The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby. The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way. The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though. The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice. The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning. Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble. We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection. If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss. Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in. All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

The Vivanta Goa Panaji is an excellent hotel. My wife and I travelled from the US to visit in Goa. The hotel has an excellent location near the Campal Gardens and is a very walkable location. We walked to Fontainhas and into the city area several times. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel provided plenty of bottled water, more than we could use. The pool area on the rooftop is a great place to cool off and relax after touring, and the food/drink selections and service were very good. Our booking included the breakfast buffet, which I HIGHLY recommend. There was a very large selection of food, including western /continental, Chinese and Indian. There must be over 30 things to choose from, including whatever type of eggs you could think of, waffles, pancakes, dosas, etc. The quality was excellent, the hot food was hot and cold food was cold. We also ate at the hotel at least one evening for the buffet. It was also extremely extensive and high quality and a very reasonable price. The staff was amazing and the servers truly took an interest in making sure we were happy. They made suggestions for what to try, and if you let them know you are an adventurous eater, they will help you to experience something new and exciting to taste. The hotel is part of the Taj group, and their attention to quality and service is apparent. We will definitely stay at the Vivanta the next time we are in Goa.

Un hotel così bello e bello. Il personale è utile e si trova a un'altra chilometria. Sono stato disgustoso di osservare diverse scadenze in etichetta di pool che hanno compromesso la reputazione dell'azienda che altrimenti era stata apprezzata. Gli ospiti sono stati visti entrare nella piscina in attrezzi inappropriati, come i pigiama e le mutandine , che non solo sono invisibili ma sollevano anche preoccupazioni per l'igiene. Inoltre, la presenza di bambini nei diapers nella zona della piscina è insalubre, soprattutto quando è disponibile una piscina designata per bambini. Questa sorveglianza non solo influisce sulla pulizia della piscina, ma anche comporta rischi per la salute di tutti gli ospiti. Il disaccordo per l'etichetta di piscina stabilita è stato significativamente detratto dalla lussuosa esperienza prevista in un 5-star stabilimento. Le condizioni sanitarie e la mancanza di applicazione delle politiche di piscina non solo hanno ridotto la qualità del soggiorno, ma hanno anche sollevato preoccupazioni circa l'impegno dell'hotel a favore del benessere degli ospiti e della soddisfazione.

Overall this was a very satisfying stay. A few major hiccups but less on account of the hotel or staff. Certain times of the year it does get too busy. During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.

Got back from Planet Hollywood last week. Location - this is a quite beach with beautiful small grain sand and clean. Many locals in the sea and clean. There are a couple of shacks each side on the hotel beach with beds and drinks and tables. Sunset is beautiful from here. Hotel: On arrival we were greeted, luggage taken to our rooms. We had the luxury pool view room- good amount of space in the bedroom, lovely balcony over looking the pool, bathroom clean. Towels changed daily and cleaned well. If you want anything staff are more than happy to help. Staff are extremely helpful - we had a couple of issues with the room, but turned out to be user errors. We had a maintenance chap in our room within minutes. The food was absolutely divine - eastern and western palates catered for. Chef Veronus came to talk to us every day at breakfast, and also made us some dishes not on the menu - really delightful and exceedingly good! The pool was very quite, but suited us. April is wedding season and there were some weddings on during the day and evening, but this is in a separate part of the complex. We actually enjoyed watching elements from the side lines. The wedding decor was incredible. We could not fault this hotel, we were taken care of so well!

Recentemente, rimasi presso il Hilton Goa, e aveva un'esperienza piacevole, ma inconsistente. La stanza stessa era eccellente - molto spaziosa con un letto re grande, mobili bellissimi e bagni puliti brillanti. La posizione era anche ideale.La colazione era bella. La piscina era tuttavia una grande delusione, e sembrava che ci fosse un eccesso di cloro o di altre sostanze chimiche nell'acqua che lo rendevano incomodo nuotare. I miei occhi si sono sconvolti male dopo solo pochi minuti nella piscina ... era praticamente inutilizzabile per tutta la mia permanenza che era sfortunato.C'è anche spazio per il miglioramento nel club di salute! Il personale dell'hotel era cortese e professionale, ma non aveva alcuna caldazza e ospitezza che mi aspettavo da un resort di alta qualità. Non li chiamerei rude per nessun motivo, ma si sono fermati strettamente alle imprese con pochi sorridere o conversazioni. Speravo che il personale che si sarebbe dirigito ad un ulteriore migliaio per creare un ambiente più favorevole. In generale, il Hilton Goa ha molto da fare in termini di spazio e posizione. Devono affrontare l'inequilibrio chimico della piscina e iniettare più ospite nel loro servizio per eccellenza come primo hotel 5*. La fondazione è lì, ma alcuni dischi potrebbero rendere questo un vero hotel di classe mondiale.

Un soggiorno assolutamente piacevole. Raccomando molto questo posto a tutti e soprattutto a coloro che cercano di rilassarsi e di rilassarsi dalla spiaggia. Non ***y posti in India sono come questo. Le strutture e il personale sono tutti di prima vista. Molto professionale e gentile. Hanno curato tutte le nostre esigenze senza esitazioni. C'è un bel giardino per camminare la notte, con accesso diretto alla spiaggia e guardie di sicurezza in entrambe le uscite. Il resort aveva una vasta varietà di cibo, con diversi ristoranti da scegliere, anche se forse un po' troppo costoso rispetto a ristoranti altrettanto buoni vicino. In generale, vorrei che avessimo rimasto un po'piu', ma avessimo già prenotato i voli. Certamente tornerò quando torno a Goa.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Questo è quello che possiamo dire veramente su Doubletree! Nithesh, Syantika & Shivram i tre di loro hanno davvero fatto il nostro soggiorno grande e meraviglioso! meritano il riconoscimento per il loro servizio. La notte che siamo arrivati, siamo stati accolti da Nithesh alla reception. Il check-in è stato veloce e Nithesh ci ha seguito tutto il cammino verso la nostra stanza, dandoci informazioni sulle bfast, le strutture, f&b e altri dettagli che dovevamo sapere! Shivram ci ha servito nel caffè durante la fretta, e ha fatto in modo che non manchi nulla! Shivram, ci siamo aspettati per voi nei prossimi giorni, ma forse siete in un altro turno. Grande servizio, Shivram! Ultimamente, Syantika! Sei un neobi, non sembravi neobi! Il tuo fascino e il tuo atteggiamento devono essere fantastici! Mia moglie e io pensavano che la vostra verità, quando assentiremo una domanda che vi abbiamo chiesto, e riceveremo una risposta quasi immediata, parlerebbe solo mille parole!
