Very clean with nice view and comfortable accommodation. Buffet breakfast is very yummy and offer a variety of different dishes for the guest. Free carpark is well done and allow you in and out at anytime during your stay. Will stay in this hotel next time for sure.

Pros - Sorpresa vista - Ho avuto sia cena che colazione all'hotel e entrambi sono deliziosi - Il personale è dedicato al servizio - quindi nonostante la lingua, l'esperienza generale è ancora molto piacevole Cons - Mi ha sorpreso quanto poco inglese possa parlare il personale, soprattutto nel ristorante (non mi lamento di questo in Giappone, ma questo è un Marriott ...) - Il servizio di autobus di shuttle è un po' fuori ... L'ultimo autobus dalla stazione all'hotel è prima delle 19:00 e le informazioni sono così difficile da trovare

Mi piace molti ristoranti davanti alla stazione.Le strutture sono molto ricche.La qualità della lavatrice è anche buona.Il colazione è deliziosa e il personale è molto amichevole.Purtroppo, la posizione del bagno della stanza.Poiché le finestre sono circondate da una finestra, è molto difficile chiudere le porte e le finestre per usare il bagno. Mi piace davvero fare la piccola stanza felice.

The hotel was old (not in a negative way though) but it has all the amenities. You can register online to be their member to have free parking and discounted dinner. In general our experience here was fine.

What we love: The onsen, the nightly free happy hour, and the amazing breakfast Location is pretty good. Nice lakeside views, near the old town, and quiet. If you drive, there is ample parking but it does get quite full when we were there mid Dec 2024, this means more locals visit than tourists. We used it as a base for visiting nearby ski resorts such as GranSnow and Biwako (roughly 60-90mins drive). It's about a 10-15min drive to the city centre where you can find an abundance of food and shopping! The room is quite spacious, has a great view of Lake Biwa, and generally comfortable and cosy. The breakfast is fantastic, quite a spread although I wished they changed some of the items more frequently. The onsen is big, and we enjoyed it every single night. The best was the homemade barley drink they served-simply Oishi! Not to mention a nightly nightcap of free booze, soft drinks and snacks available at the lobby from 7pm till 10/11pm. Nice way to wind down. This hotel has a old-style, somewhat luxe, chillout, laid-back vibe, where you can really hang out if you like, at your own pace. Highly recommended.

La stanza è un vecchio tipo. Il paesaggio è buono per guardare il lago. La struttura privata è molto valsa. La neve è molto calda e la zona è molto scritta. Sono andata al grande tetto. Il vento è di legno, ma quando entrate, è molto scivoloso e cade sotto i piedi, perché il tetto sembra essere un tipo di scivoloso Sento che se ne andrò o tornerò a casa privata in un po'.Il cibo è molto ricco, i buoi non possono mangiare vicino a loro perché c'è troppo olio e buono.

I couldn't speak Japanese but I could feel that they are treating every customer seriously. Their greetings and sincere services impressed me. There was a problem with my booking initially, not sure why because I didn't get proper explanation from the hotel and Trip.com, the hotel didn't mention anything however arranged some small surprise when they knew this is an anniversary trip. I tried to upgrade my meal with crab as my wife not quite like beef and fish, they said unavailable so I keep to the original. At the end I got crab, fish and beef that surprises me. I was later received a souvenir from the hotel when they served the dessert. The hotel is busy but I'm not seeing lots of people, may be all of them staying at their rooms. The experience for me was exceptional when I woke up at 6am witness the beautiful sunrise right outside the huge window, and saw an eagle passing by my camera when trying to capture that moment. Later on when I take the free shuttle bus ride to the nearby train station, I saw an eagle again came down and climbed up outside the station. Not sure it means anything, but definitely this is a very spiritual journey for me.

Spacious room with all necessary amenities. Very friendly staff with professional service. Both breakfast and dinner are perfect. The outdoor onsen is perfect.

JR守山駅前という抜群の立地です。 周囲には飲食店も多数あり、また24時間営業のSEIYU、セブンイレブンも目の前なので、不自由することは全くありません。 室内は清潔で、風呂とトイレが別々になっている点も良いと思います。ビジネスのため、利用することはありませんでしたが、ホテル割引でスポーツジムを利用することも出来るようです。 関西出張（京都あたりまで）には利用価値が高いホテルだと思います。

Tutti gli agenti sono molto carini, e hanno autobus per la stazione JR. Tuttavia, i turisti stranieri con tatuaggi dovrebbero notare che non possono usare bagno pubblico, ma saranno ancora a carico della tassa di servizio.

It was a great stay at this ryokan! The hotel is able to arrange a car to fetch you from the JR station. You can call them using a dedicated phone at the station which is used to contact the different ryokans. The car arrived in 10mins or so. The ride to the ryokan was also less than 10mins. The hotel also fetched us to the station on the last day of our stay. The ryokan itself is homely and cozy. We were greeted by an english speaking staff who introduced us to the amenities of the ryokan. There was also a nice welcome tea and matcha chocolate. Our bags were brought to our room as well during this time. The room is spacious and cozy. The hotel prepared 2 welcome biscuits in the room which was a nice personal touch. The room has a nice living room and a great view of Lake Biwa. Recommend to catch the sunrise over the lake! There are 2 normal beds as well as futon beds (need to set up yourself). Both are comfortable. The hotel also prepared pretty yukata for both female and male guests which you can wear during the stay. There are 4 different designs for ladies, and one design for the guys. You can request for different size if the one in the room doesn’t fit you. There is also a full length mirror and a mini dressing area at the side of the living room. It was fun dressing up in the yukata! The toilet, basin, shower and hot tub areas are all separate. The toilet is a little small, but the basin and mirror area is very spacious. The shower area is quite small as well and the shower head is rather low so you need to hold the shower head if you wish to wash up while standing. There is a small stool given for you to sit down though. The hot tub area is semi-outdoor and you can see Lake Biwa. But it is quite small (only good for one person). It was too cold so we didn’t use the hot tub. Instead, we booked the private onsen for 50mins. The private onsen has a private toilet and dressing area which is equipped with hairdryer, body lotion etc. There is a water dispenser as well if you need to hydrate yourself. The onsen area has a washing area, and the hot tub area is spacious for 2 person. There are privacy screens around the onsen area but there is a small gap to let in cold air for ventilation. Wish there is a good view from the private onsen but it was still enjoyable! Dinner and breakfast was Kaiseki style, and the meals were one of the highlights for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the courses which are clean tasting yet wholesome, fresh and flavourful. It was such a sumptuous treat! The ryokan also has a souvenir shop if you wish to buy anything back. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay here and we agreed this was one of the main highlights of our 12 days trip in Japan. Highly recommend!

飯店服務及設施（若要使用湯元館的湯，要加700日圓）很棒；一停好車，服務人員馬上前來引導入住，並換好室內鞋即在休息室，觀看完「全館介紹短片」一目了然。 是間有點年紀但重整的溫泉會館，沒有電梯，但最多爬到3樓。CP值很高！ 早餐非常豐富用心料理，你可以吃到道地又有創意的懷石料理。 唯一的遺憾，晚餐的涮涮鍋的肉，不是近江牛！但所有食材及色香味俱全每一道菜都值得細細品嚐！ *緊鄰的琵琶湖是必去景點，依時間寬裕程度，自行搜尋有興趣的景點。

非常好的房間，非常好的服務，非常好的早餐。 美中不足的是房間的遮光都不是太好，在意的朋友可以備個眼罩。 另外入住前最好溝通下check in的時間，免得吃閉門羹
