We were put in the room right next to the office, and we could hear the staff chatting at all hours. The noise in the corridor from other guests woke us up several times during the night (despite the ”Quiet” signage). There was a fire alarm at 6am the next morning. Everyone had to evacuate for a good 45 mins in the rain while we waited for the fire brigade...not even an offer of a free breakfast or coffee or anything afterwards.
There's no air con in the rooms, they're really small, the bathroom is tiny and there's not a lot of room to put your stuff. The à la carte restaurant is overpriced and the food was under/overcooked (how can you not know how to cook a potato?). Personally I'd not recommend this hotel when there's a Premier Inn in town..."

Martin Lee UnitedHo ottenuto un aggiornamento in una camera più grande, che era molto spaziosa con una zona TV. La stanza era molto pulita e il servizio all'hotel era eccezionale. Mark era molto utile. La zona turistica è a pochi passi. Non si rimpiangerà di rimanere qui.

I'm originally from Kendal, but now live overseas. I stayed here to visit family locally and thought I'd treat myself to a nice hotel after not being back for several years. This place was NOT a treat.

Quando arrivai, non c'era nessuno al divano, quindi mi aspettai. La donna che ero un po' ingrassata era lontana da piacere e non sembrava voler essere li'. Non c’era niente spiegato e non c’era un foglio informativo per me per leggerlo nel mio tempo. Quando ho dato la chiave della mia stanza, ho iniziato a camminare attraverso il lobby, ma non ho visto alcun segno per il numero della mia stanza. Tornato al dipartimento per chiedere dove andare per la mia stanza e fu detto “solo seguiamola”.
Molto insopportabile e inconveniente, non sicuramente questa signora dovrebbe essere davanti all'hotel.
Inoltre, la stanza era bella e ben tenuta/pulita. Ero anche lato del lago, così ho dovuto guardare il sollevamento del sole con la mia coppa mattina. Molto raffreddante vista.

Una stanza molto calda e la colazione è abbastanza varietà.Camminare dalla stazione ferroviaria all'alloggio è una sezione di strada in discesa. Ci sono circa dieci minuti. Il bus è troppo lungo per aspettare, quindi la scelta di camminare è una buona idea.

Utente ospiteBeautiful views and extremely friendly and attentive staff, we felt very comfortable. Lots of vegan items on the menu at restaurants and a great selection of mocktails. Our favourite part was the falconry experience it was truly amazing and our guide was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and hikes around and made use of the easily accessible bus routes. thankyou to everyone at low wood bay.

The hotel seems still under renovation. Flies were flying around in the room and could not sleep well at night. Towel heating rack in the toilet is partially rusty. SPA facilities has not been used, but seems not bad. Suggest to extend the closing time till 8 PM or 9PM to facilitate visitors after the sightseeing around Lake District.

去的時候剛好趕上婚禮，大堂裡外都是熱情洋溢喜氣洋洋的老外。前台有衹值班的狗，乖極了。如果帶着孩子，需要額外每衹30胖子的付費，這個，呃……如果沒有這筆費用還是不錯的。第二天的免費自助早餐不錯，咖啡點了以後，服務員送。走廊裏有自助牛奶和自助飲用水。停車免費呦，停車場挺大，基本不用擔心沒地方，因為即使頭一天婚禮來滿了人，也依舊有少許停車位。
雖然英國每天都陰沉下雨或者颳風下雪，但是我們卻在這裏看到了久違的漫天繁星。

The Grange hotel was lovely and redecorated. The breakfast was lovely and surrounding areas nice. Having the train station on your door step was brilliant as we took a trip to Lancaster. My only negative is that the bar prices are expensive £15 for a large glass of wine and the spa needed updating. The tiles were patched up, the jacuzzi was cold and foamy and smelt. Otherwise it was a good overall experience and we would go back.
