I had a lovely big room and huge bed , which was comfortable. Large picture windows with view of river & town over the bridge next to the hotel. Room had all the usual amenities- kettle, mugs,, tea, coffee, sugar & milk. Shampoo & bodywash in bathroom, hairdryer. Box of tissues in bathroom. The bathroom has a good size cubicle and good pressure in the shower. I did not use the in house restaurant, so cannot comment. The bar was good and there was a water dispenser on the counter..Great for filling up my water bottle for the day. So lovely to walk out of the hotel and over the bridge to the town, including the excellent museums, or walk along the paths on either side of the river. Only slight downside was the route down the stairs was a bit convoluted, but there were lifts of course.

Great location for a early escape to Luton airport or late flight in. Have used them a few times because they have the best food on site compared to other local hotels so I find them the best overall value and experience. Reception staff very helpful and offering room close to lift or quieter away from it. Pleasant room and good value for money. Highlight is their breakfast, incredible buffet breakfast and the top choice if you have a late flight arrival and time to stay and enjoy it in the morning.

Room clean and tidy. Unfortunately a couple of lights were not working in the bathroom so made for a bit of a palaver trying to shower in almost darkness.  The breakfast was good with lots of choice, sadly the coffee in the machine wasn’t of good quality and was very bitter.  The staff were very polite, friendly and professional.  Overall, would choose to stay again.

Tuttavia, essere vicino all'aeroporto comporta un po' di rumore inevitabile dagli aerei. Sebbene le finestre siano insonorizzate, chi ha il sonno leggero potrebbe comunque notarlo. Molto convenientemente situato per le nostre esigenze. Bella stanza spaziale Letto confortevole con due opzioni, se necessario Caffè, tè ecc. disponibile quando necessario. La colazione, anche se produce da sola, fate abbastanza opzioni e varietà per iniziare il giorno e il viaggio a casa. Posizione perfetta per chi arriva in treno dall'aeroporto... letteralmente a due minuti a piedi! Sono rimasto sorpreso di trovare una palestra davvero ben attrezzata, che avevo tutta per me. Colazione ottima con macchina per i waffle. Ho già prenotato di nuovo!

No issues checking in. Clean and tidy place. No issues with room, beds very large and comfy. It was very quiet when we stayed family of 4. I requested 2 rooms next door to each other and request fulfilled. Water pressure excellent for showers. Have pool sauna, gym, unfortunately we didn't try these facilities. Do check breakfast times, we thought breakfast was served until 11am but was mistaken. Got to restaurant at 10am and were closed. Luckily, a staff member from reception managed to get us some pastries and yogurts, very kind! Accommodation is within the Cranfield University campus and near Cranfield Airport.

I had a fantastic stay at Thistle Express Hotel Luton! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary refreshments and the strong Wi-Fi, which made my stay even more convenient. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Luton, close to shops, restaurants, and transport links, making it ideal for both business and leisure travellers. Overall, Thistle Express Hotel Luton offers excellent value for money with great service, comfort, and convenience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Luton!

The Premier Inn is a decent value for money. The staff were very helpful at check-in given that we arrived a bit earlier than 3pm , they allowed us to to change into clothing more appropriate for the toasty afternoon ( sunny and 25C) and leave our belongings in storage behind the reception. The biggest drawback , in my books, was the fact the window in our room was sealed shut and we had to rely on the HVAC system for fresh air. The location made it easy to reach from Luton Airport after a 10 min walk from the Luton Station Interchange, but the surrounding area has a bit of a rough edge to it.
