The hotel was immaculate and the staff were so friendly. The pool was a great way to keep the children entertained, and they even had some pool toys available over the weekend. The Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was cooked to perfection—I’m sure there’s a fantastic cook on staff. Coffee and tea are complimentary in reception and always in a clean area. The one-bedroom king suite had a lovely kitchenette, which was perfect for cooking up a storm. The location was great, just a short walk to a shopping centre, Target, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Chipotle and a few other shops. It’s also a short drive to town, and there’s plenty of parking available. The room is usually cleaned upon request, but once you ask, it’s done. One thing that could have been improved was the sofa bed. It was quite uncomfortable, and since we booked the room for a family of four, it would have been lovely if the bed had been made for us on the first night. Unfortunately, we noticed some reddish-brown stains on the mattress, which were quite unsightly and could have been blood or some kind of spillage.

It's a wonderful place, a preserved building that is very clean, at a very central location in Middlebury. The price was excellent, and the parking was very convenient. We couldn't get the wi-fi to work which was a pain given that only Verizon works here, and we didn't have hotspots. Very friendly staff, both the female receptionist during checkout and the gentleman during checkin, with his excellent recommendations. But: Be careful with rooms 126-129, they need a good flight of stairs, which was difficult for us, as we were coming from a big road-trip and had many bags. Perhaps the reception should make this clear during the check-in process, we would be very happy to change rooms, but it was too late. Soundproofing is not the best, but I am not complaining as the building is preserved and they can't do much. Finally, a small complaint is that there is no desk to do some work in the room, forcing us to go to cafes.   All in all, I honestly think this hotel is terrific if you are visiting Middlebury and I would 100% recommend it for a ski trip or a tour of the college.

Quando siamo arrivati, il personale del front desk era molto gentile e benvenuto. Ci è stato detto che potevamo mangiare al ristorante proprio fuori dal lobby, quindi abbiamo pianificato di cenare lì. Quando siamo arrivati al ristorante 20 minuti dopo, ci hanno detto che non potevamo mangiare lì a meno che non avessimo fatto prenotazioni precedenti a causa di un matrimonio, avevano la porta accanto. La signora ci ha detto: “Dobbiamo dare la priorità al matrimonio di 200 persone”. Ho chiesto dove mangiare e la signora ha gridato.Uno dei camerieri, che si è scusato molto e ha raccomandato il bar. Eravamo molto irritati perché siamo stati tutti esauriti e la signora era molto generosa. Abbiamo visto 20+ persone spostarsi dal pranzo a causa di questo matrimonio. Capisco perfettamente che devono concentrarsi su un matrimonio e il cibo per il matrimonio, ma avremmo dovuto essere informati di questo quando siamo arrivati che il ristorante non era disponibile a meno che non avessimo già fatto una prenotazione. Il resort è molto bello e c'è stato un sacco di divertenti cose che puoi fare, ma alcuni dei suoi dipendenti erano molto sgradevoli.

Il South Burlington ha bisogno di una macchina per arrivare a Burlington correre. Hanno un autobus, anche se corre per le dieci, credo. Il letto re con bagno non esiste, il bagno è una sorta di scuola vecchia. Il check-in può essere lento (atteso in linea per un po '). Frigo in camera ma senza microonde, uno esiste in lobby. Sala da giardino è ok, piscina all'interno è bello, giardino non è 24 ore. La stanza era ok.

Concierge didn't know how to use TV remote; we both struggled with the TV/remote in the lobby until we got the channel I was seeking. Room was very attractive, figured out on my own how to get heat in room and what Wifi password was (no verbal or written instructions provided). Bed very comfortable, very nice to have refrigerator/freezer, microwave in room. Only significantly negative aspect was shower: it was STRONG flow and I found no way to make water force more gentle. Water drained out of tub slower than projected out of shower head, so tub quickly retained water and I ended up standing in soapy water entire time in shower.

Molto bel posto e posizione eccellente. Quando mi sono iscritto per la prima volta, mi sono soffocato dalla mancanza di aiuto dalla ragazza alla ricezione. Le ho chiesto se ci fossero dei patch di pompino locale e lei mi ha detto a Google. Un'altra signora di accoglienza mi ha dato un elenco completo di attività locali senza nemmeno chiedere. Il whip era bello, ma il menu online non è lo stesso di quello del ristorante. Non c'è tavolo da formaggio disponibile, ad esempio. Il parcheggio era difficile a volte. A parte il posto, il personale era molto bello.

Room was spacious and felt well maintained Breakfast was good One issue I had during my stay was at least twice someone tried to enter my room without knocking and the door was stopped by the door latch. I assume it was hotel staff as the door was opened without my 2 access cards. But no knocking or calling of room service before the door was opened and by the time i went to open the door, no one was outside Felt strange Reported the first encounter to the front desk but still it happened a second time

The fire pjt was excellent at night for a quiet wind down. The room could probably be cleaner or maintained better as the pipe in the room are quite obvious and can see the holes near the edge of all walls inside the guest room. but appreciate it as the hotel is located at a country side. My personal white bath towel was taken away by the housekeeping team because it looked similar to the hotel's towel. luckily it was found right before we check out. Thanks to the concierge and housekeeping team.

The hotel was clean and in great condition. The staff was fantastic and friendly and always went the extra mile. The breakfast was great with many options and again the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean and the kids had fun. I would 100% stay at this hotel again and I recommend it to others. Their service, care, friendliness and customer service should be a benchmark to all hotel and customer service representatives
