Hotel con spa a Colombo

Kingsbury hotel is in a prime location closer to the beach activities. Some rooms are with sea view. Shopping mall is nearby that offers variety of shops and services. Restaurants provide wide selection of food options with local and international cuisines. The rooms are carpeted which emits old odour. The room furniture needs modernising. We experienced issues with booking. They couldn’t find our booking and gave us a room in a lower floor and the furnitures were old with smelly carpet. On my complaint, we were upgraded to a suite room in a higher floor which was classy and the view was excellent. Don’t know I can afford to stay in a suite. The staffs were helpful. I didn’t have a chance to use all amenities but I noticed there were many options. I will stay again if I am given a room in a higher floor or if I can afford a suite room.

I had a wonderful one-night stay from June 24th to 25th. The hotel offers a fantastic, tranquil escape right in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless check-in and checkout experience. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and offered lovely views. Whether you are visiting for business or a quick leisure getaway, the beautiful lakeside setting and excellent service make it a top choice. Highly recommended.

Location is great, just beside One Galle Face Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful sunset views (from the bar, pool, restaurant, lobby) and Galle Face opposite the road. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Checked in Dec 30-Jan 2 peak season. Hotel was fully booked. Waited in the lobby for my room to be ready upon check-in. Front desk said they will find me to let me know. Waited for more than an hour before I asked them again and told me that my room has been ready. Ordered some room service which took more than an hour to be delivered. Granted they told me that it may take about 50 minutes because it was peak hours. Upon delivery they told me it was comped because of the long wait. Pool, restaurant, and bar staff are all great. Very personable and accommodating. Loved the sky pool on the 31st floor. No bar but not as crowded as the main pool. Breakfast was great. A lot of choices. Asian selection is great. Pastries not so much, some didn’t seem fresh. Heard from some staff that it gets super busy from around 9 but didn’t experience any long wait. Plenty of tables to accommodate people. Overall a great experience and will definitely stay here again if I’m in Colombo.

La camera era condizionata con asciugamani e toletta di qualità. Dopo che sono arrivato a combattere contro il freddo, la grande selezione di caffè e tè nella stanza è stata un salvataggio assoluto. Tuttavia, il servizio clienti lascia molto da desiderare. Sono arrivato al mezzogiorno dopo un volo di notte. Anche se è la stagione bassa e l'hotel si è sentito completamente vuoto, il desk front insiste per il check-in alle 2:00 PM. Non hanno nemmeno offerto un check-in precoce per un canone, ma mi hanno detto di poter aspettare fuori al caldo per due ore dalla piscina. C'era anche una strana questione di fatturazione al check-in. Il servizio frontale mi ha chiesto un pagamento di $43, anche se avevo già pagato in pieno. I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Colombo, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The room was extremely spacious, honestly one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in within Colombo. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The room included everything you might need—tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, toothbrushes, and more. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the TV, office table was huge as well. All the facilities such as the lights, air conditioning, and fan worked perfectly, so we had no issues at all. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor) and we had a nice view overlooking the Galle Face Hotel with a small view of the ocean. The location of the hotel is also excellent since it is very close to Galle Face Green and many other attractions in Colombo, which makes it very convenient for travelers. The check-in process was smooth, and they welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink. One thing to note is that the security procedure is quite strict. When we had guests visiting our room briefly, they had to provide their IDs and go through a security check. It was the first time I experienced this in a hotel, but it is understandable since it helps maintain safety. Although we booked bed and breakfast, we later asked if we could add the dinner buffet, but unfortunately it was already full. However, something very kind happened later that night. My mother wanted chicken congee, so we asked the room service staff if it was available. Even though it was not on the menu at that moment, they were kind enough to prepare and send us a bowl of chicken congee. It was a very thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a very wide variety of food, and everything we tried was delicious. My family has always liked the buffets at Ramada, and this time was no different. They also had live cooking stations, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything about the stay was great. The room, service, location, and food were all excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. It is absolutely worth the price and offers great value for money.

Situazione eccellente accanto a molti grandi ristoranti, tra cui Chilax. Bella vista ininterrotta sull'oceano indiano. Buon aria condizionata e acqua calda ampia nel bagno. Buona WiFi in tutto. È un po' alto dai treni che passano anche dopo che le finestre sono chiuse. La vista sul tetto dell'oceano indiano è davvero rilassante. Il personale è bello e rilassato. Si consiglia.

Отель когда-то наверное был шикарен, сейчас просто неплохой. Мебель старенькая, стены обветшалые, некоторые вещи (как выключатели) можно было бы тщательнее вытирать. Но в целом впечатления остались позитивные. Завтраки сытные, постель и кровать удобные, бассейн просто шикарен. Правда в выходные приезжают местные купаться, за отдельную цену. А в будни тихо и спокойно, ожидать свой напиток у сотрудника можно очень долго. Рядом с отелем железная дорога, весь день ходят поезда, днём не особо поспишь, но ночью поездка не ходят, ничего вашему сну не помешает.
