The front desk staff wasn't much helpful when we checked in. He didn't give us much information about the hotel. There was no welcome drink served and after check in we had to figure out the rest ourselves like our room floor, breakfast, swimming pool, etc. We had to communicate directly to the housekeeping manager for our extra bed. I commend the housekeeping manager and staffs for a job well done. Basically, they compensated the unimpressive performance of the front desk by surprising us with some towel arts, flowers, and fruit everyday.

L'hotel si trova in un centro commerciale (ingresso laterale). Ogni volta che si entra, tutti gli zaini, le borse e gli altri oggetti vengono controllati. La camera era pulita e vengono fornite quattro bottiglie d'acqua. Non so se tutte le camere siano così, ma nella nostra camera l'unico armadio era in bagno. La doccia e il WC non erano separati, quindi dopo la doccia, tutto era allagato. Al check-in, abbiamo scoperto che il soffione della doccia perdeva molto dal tubo flessibile. Hanno mandato qualcuno il giorno dopo a ripararlo. La colazione è varia, ma fate attenzione ai cibi locali e alle insalate che richiedono molto tempo per essere preparati/conservati. Potreste ritrovarvi con un amico caucasico. Nel complesso, l'esperienza è stata positiva; i baristi preparano persino il caffè da asporto in un bicchiere di carta. Se non ne avete uno per colazione, vi costerà 1.075 rupie. La lounge al 9° piano è aperta e si trova sulla strada per la sala da pranzo (tutto è a vista). La piscina (in cui nessuno nuota) si trova dietro la sala da pranzo. Per un soggiorno di qualche giorno è un'ottima soluzione grazie alla sua posizione, ma non aspettatevi troppo.

Un bel edificio in una zona molto piacevole di Colombo, l'architettura e la progettazione interna dell'hotel sono un piacere da vedere e la grande maggioranza del personale è gentile e cortese. Le colazioni erano grandi entrambe le mattine (sia il colazione srilancana che il stile occidentale), e si sono davvero rispettate le alte aspettative che avevamo visto dal marketing Instagram. Abbiamo ricevuto un'aggiornamento alla Suite Nord-Ovest, che era una stanza più grande, per la quale siamo stati molto apprezzati; sono stati segnalati e corretti alcuni problemi con gli attrezzi e gli apparecchi di lavoro (caffè e asciugacapelli), La struttura è stata molto più ampia, ma la struttura è molto più ampia e non è molto ampia (come si prevedeva, forse, con il fascino di un hotel più vecchio). Mia moglie e io abbiamo preso a chiudere rapidamente la porta e a mettere il segno “Non disturbare” sul manico per mantenere il suo incessante interruzione al minimo. Location is great, just beside One Galle Face Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful sunset views (from the bar, pool, restaurant, lobby) and Galle Face opposite the road. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Checked in Dec 30-Jan 2 peak season. Hotel was fully booked. Waited in the lobby for my room to be ready upon check-in. Front desk said they will find me to let me know. Waited for more than an hour before I asked them again and told me that my room has been ready. Ordered some room service which took more than an hour to be delivered. Granted they told me that it may take about 50 minutes because it was peak hours. Upon delivery they told me it was comped because of the long wait. Pool, restaurant, and bar staff are all great. Very personable and accommodating. Loved the sky pool on the 31st floor. No bar but not as crowded as the main pool. Breakfast was great. A lot of choices. Asian selection is great. Pastries not so much, some didn’t seem fresh. Heard from some staff that it gets super busy from around 9 but didn’t experience any long wait. Plenty of tables to accommodate people. Overall a great experience and will definitely stay here again if I’m in Colombo.

Stayed for a night after landing in Colombo. Hasini checked us in and was very friendly and welcoming; we were given all the information we would need during our stay. Large hotel with well kept rooms. Highlight of the stay had to be the breakfast buffet! The quantity and quality of options were amazing. Wish we had stayed another night so we could've enjoyed the buffet once more.

I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Colombo, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The room was extremely spacious, honestly one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in within Colombo. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The room included everything you might need—tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, toothbrushes, and more. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the TV, office table was huge as well. All the facilities such as the lights, air conditioning, and fan worked perfectly, so we had no issues at all. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor) and we had a nice view overlooking the Galle Face Hotel with a small view of the ocean. The location of the hotel is also excellent since it is very close to Galle Face Green and many other attractions in Colombo, which makes it very convenient for travelers. The check-in process was smooth, and they welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink. One thing to note is that the security procedure is quite strict. When we had guests visiting our room briefly, they had to provide their IDs and go through a security check. It was the first time I experienced this in a hotel, but it is understandable since it helps maintain safety. Although we booked bed and breakfast, we later asked if we could add the dinner buffet, but unfortunately it was already full. However, something very kind happened later that night. My mother wanted chicken congee, so we asked the room service staff if it was available. Even though it was not on the menu at that moment, they were kind enough to prepare and send us a bowl of chicken congee. It was a very thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a very wide variety of food, and everything we tried was delicious. My family has always liked the buffets at Ramada, and this time was no different. They also had live cooking stations, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything about the stay was great. The room, service, location, and food were all excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. It is absolutely worth the price and offers great value for money.
