Hotel con palestra a Colombo

Kingsbury hotel is in a prime location closer to the beach activities. Some rooms are with sea view. Shopping mall is nearby that offers variety of shops and services. Restaurants provide wide selection of food options with local and international cuisines. The rooms are carpeted which emits old odour. The room furniture needs modernising. We experienced issues with booking. They couldn’t find our booking and gave us a room in a lower floor and the furnitures were old with smelly carpet. On my complaint, we were upgraded to a suite room in a higher floor which was classy and the view was excellent. Don’t know I can afford to stay in a suite. The staffs were helpful. I didn’t have a chance to use all amenities but I noticed there were many options. I will stay again if I am given a room in a higher floor or if I can afford a suite room.

Il Jetway 7 Colombo è un moderno boutique hotel situato in posizione strategica in Ward Place, nel centro città, vicino a numerose attrazioni. L'hotel vanta servizi completi, camere spaziose e pulite, alcune con balcone e vista sulla città, ed è stato elogiato per il comfort e la pulizia della biancheria da letto. Una piscina a sfioro sul tetto e un bar offrono viste panoramiche sulla città e sulla Lotus Tower. La colazione è ampia e il servizio è cordiale e attento, con un menù à la carte disponibile 24 ore su 24, rendendolo adatto sia a viaggiatori d'affari che di piacere.

Recentemente sono rimasto all'Hotel Colombo Court, e mentre offre buoni valori e eccellenti camere, l'ospitalità mi è sentita un po' rigida per un turista. I primi punti: la camera stessa era fantastica. Era grande, impecabilmente pulita, e aveva fogli di grande qualità con molte eccellenti cuscini. La camera era condizionata con asciugamani e toletta di qualità. Dopo che sono arrivato a combattere contro il freddo, la grande selezione di caffè e tè nella stanza è stata un salvataggio assoluto. Tuttavia, il servizio clienti lascia molto da desiderare. Sono arrivato al mezzogiorno dopo un volo di notte. Anche se è la stagione bassa e l'hotel si è sentito completamente vuoto, il desk front insiste per il check-in alle 2:00 PM. Non hanno nemmeno offerto un check-in precoce per un canone, ma mi hanno detto di poter aspettare fuori al caldo per due ore dalla piscina. C'era anche una strana questione di fatturazione al check-in. Il servizio frontale mi ha chiesto un pagamento di $43, anche se avevo già pagato in pieno. Ho dovuto mostrare loro il mio lavoro di carta che mostrava il pagamento della carta di credito virtuale della piattaforma di prenotazione prima che si spendessero, ma non l'hanno ripreso, ma sembrava un tentativo di scalpore. Infine, la mia conferma di prenotazione ha dichiarato esplicitamente che il checkout era tra le 11:00 e le 12:00, ma alle 11:30, il personale mi ha chiuso alla porta dicendomi che il checkout era effettivamente alle 11:00. Anche dopo aver mostrato la mia conferma al tavolo frontale, hanno insistito che la loro regola era 11:00. Il personale è sempre stato amichevole e gentile, ma sembrava che servissero il loro libro di regole piuttosto che i loro ospiti.La proprietà è molto pulita, ma ha molto più di una viva per i viaggiatori di business che una destinazione turistica benvenuta. Ho un'altra prenotazione per la mia gamba di ritorno, ma lo cancellerò per rimanere altrove.

Located in a convenient area in Colombo, closer to all the main shops, business centers and closer to the sea. I booked from 26th to 29th and then extended to until 02/SEP 2026. the room was very quiet and peaceful and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was extremely busy, but quite a good variety. cannot comment much about service, except the housekeeping, well cleaned and accommodating. value for money.

Huge apartment, 2 bed rooms with full amnities. Breakfast has a lot of selection but taste is bot quite good. Only bekery section doing well. Friendly staff, good location, nice view.

I was stay there 2 nights.overall room and cleanliness was perfect.specially thanks for housekeeping team which they made so comfortable stay for us.Also front desk team.regarding foods its doesn't meet our expectation..we had room dining all of that days.i request first day half boiled eggs for breakfast but it was hard boiled.second day i mentioned it and that day one egg half boiled but its broken.another one again hard boiled..we didnt feel foods was fresh.its not because of room dining i know we cant get 100% hot & fresh foods for room dining.im not saying about hot or cold.for breakfast we ordered two days 2 set menu frist day we didnt recived tea & coffee.but its include for set.second day we recived it.but second day we didnt recive breads and again we request it.however all the staff very friendly and always with smilly face.specially housekeeping team was perfect.they maintaining high quality cleanliness.

Non ben tenuta, la stanza puzzava di umido e muffa. Una cosa che ci ha reso molto insoddisfatti è stata che le tende non si chiudevano completamente, quindi la luce entrava la mattina alle 6. Il bagno turco era disgustoso, con il pavimento rotto e la muffa. C'erano bottiglie di alcol nascoste nella spa e negli armadietti della palestra - vi lascio indovinare chi potrebbe aver bevuto... According to my booking, I was supposed to receive a king-size bed, but upon check-in, I was given two very small, separate beds instead. The hotel authorities failed to keep the commitment made at the time of booking. Staying and sleeping in these small beds was extremely difficult and uncomfortable for us. This kind of poor service and irresponsibility is completely unacceptable from a reputable hotel. In terms of customer service and maintaining commitments, this has been a thoroughly disappointing experience. I have no intention of ever staying at this hotel again in the future.

Mixed feelings We had quite a mixed impression of the hotel. There are definitely some very good things about it, but unfortunately, we experienced several issues that we did not expect from a hotel of this level. Strong points: 🌊 Relaxing ocean view. If you stay here, I would definitely recommend booking a room with a sea view - it is one of the best features of the hotel. 🛏 Extremely comfortable bed. After five months of travelling around Asia, this was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The mattress and pillows were excellent. 👧 Very attentive reception service. Even though we arrived late at night, the reception team quickly arranged an extra bed for our daughter. We really appreciated how quickly and thoughtfully they handled this after our late arrival. 😊 Friendly and caring staff. I especially want to mention the lovely lady who asked for our feedback at checkout. She was very attentive, kind, and genuinely apologetic about the issues we experienced. Because of her attitude and the way she handled our feedback, I’m adding one extra star to my rating. Weak points: We checked in late at night after an 8-hour flight and found a small insect in the bed. It was particularly unpleasant after such a long journey, we had to change rooms. Our main concerns were related to the housekeeping service on the 11th floor. We stayed in room 1107, and unfortunately, there were several things that could have been handled better. Unfortunately, around midnight, we were woken up by loud conversations outside our door, apparently by members of the staff. Shortly afterwards, the housekeeping staff started vacuuming the room next door and moving furniture around - at night. After a long flight, we simply wanted to sleep peacefully, especially as we were only staying for two nights. This was quite unpleasant and, in our opinion, could easily have been avoided. There were no slippers in our room, which was surprising. We did notice slippers in the housekeeping area, so perhaps they were simply forgotten. There were no hand or face towels in the bathroom - only large bath towels. This seemed quite unusual for a hotel of this standard, and it is not particularly comfortable to use the same towel for your face and feet. The bathroom lighting was also very dim, making it difficult to get ready properly and do my makeup.
