The Splendor Taichung Hotel (Taizhong Jindian Jiudian) is located within easy reach of the National Museum of Natural Science, a botanical garden and shopping complex Park Lane. Several Taichung City scenic areas are within a ten-minute drive. The on-site restaurant serves Chinese and Western dishes. Room service is also available. During their spare time, guests can enjoy a massage, relax in the spa, lay back in the sauna, work out in the gym, take a refreshing dip in the pool or play billiards.
"Hotel is great overall, but beds are really hard surface type. The hotel feels like was last renovated / built some 20 or so years ago, which makes everything looks dated. However, in terms of cleanliness, service and location it is an excellent hotel (if you are ok sleeping on a hard bed). Staff is very helpful. We didn’t try spa or dining so cannot comment here. Location is good: it is not too far from central district yet if you’re driving (we did) you don’t have to drive through the most congested areas. There are a few excellent coffee places nearby. Many places around to eat."

"Questa volta l'esperienza complessiva è buona, la posizione dell'hotel è conveniente e la vita attorno è buona. Il servizio del personale di tai è gentile, e gestire il soggiorno e la partenza è molto efficiente. La stanza è ben pulita, lo spazio è sufficiente, la qualità del sonno è buona. "Il personale del desk front was incredibly helpful and provided a thorough explanation of our room. The neighborhood is beautiful, making it an perfect location for a gateway. "Wir waren zwei Nächte in Halbpension hier. Das Zimmer mit einem Queensizebett und einem Einzelbett war auch mit der Sitzgelegenheit im Erker-Fenster gut eingerichtet und für die zwei Nächte in Ordnung. Alles war gut gepflegt und nicht im abgewöhnen Zustand. Das asiatische Frühstück war reichhaltig und bot am zweiten Tag eine kleine Abwechslung. Das Abendessen wurde als Buffet kalter und warmer Gerichte angeboten. Die Qualität war sehr gut und schmackhaft. Verbesserungspotential besteht bei Frühstück und Abendessen beim Warmhalzen der Speisen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Serviceorientierung der Mitarbeiterin im Spa-Bereich, die uns bei der Waschmaschine sehr geholfen hat und uns später bei den Besuchen des Spa sehr herzlich behandelte. Der Spa ist auf F1 und hat 5 Becken, eine Sauna 72° und ein Dampfbad. Die Einrichtung besteht sicherlich schon einige Jahrzehnte, ist jedoch absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt. Nur die laute Belüftung stört etwas."
