Hotel con parcheggio a Taichung

I write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all. The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing? The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room. On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before. It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well? Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me. It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again I hope to hear from you on the above mentioned. Thank you.

Ho avuto un ottimo soggiorno all'Hotel Millennium Taichung! Questa è davvero un'esperienza 5-star dal momento in cui sono arrivato. Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole, attento e professionale. Appena il mio taxi si alzò, il campanello venne subito e mi aiutava con il bagaglio, anche se lo mandava direttamente nella mia stanza senza dover affrontare nulla. La stanza era molto spaziosa e confortevole, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo un giorno di giornata. Mi piacevano soprattutto i piccoli tocchi, come la macchina del caffè Nespresso per una bella tazza di caffè. La sorpresa più grande è stata la complimentare mini barci erano quattro bottiglie di bevande molli fornite gratuitamente, che era un bel bonus! Il bagno era anche impressionantemente grande, pulito e ben progettato, aggiungendo al sentimento di lusso generale del soggiorno. In generale, consiglio fortemente l'Hotel Millennium Taichung se stai cercando comfort, comodità e eccellente servizio. Sarei sicuramente rimasto qui ancora! 😊

Best resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

La stanza è a 2 livelli vicino al lobby, molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e a piedi anche a molte attrazioni. Il bagno era freddo con 2 bagni e 2 bagni separati. Il personale era amichevole e utile. Ci sono 5 letti in totale sufficienti per un totale di 12 persone. Anche se lo spazio libero può essere limitato a ospitare molti bagagli. Può tenere i vestiti nello spazio di sicurezza (dove il coperchio e la coperta erano originariamente tenuti). In particolare, ci piace la selezione gratuita delle bevande disponibili nell'area di lobby. There’s free washing available with dryer only for TWD 10 for 20mins (which is so much cheaper than Taipei). Un bel sollecito per rimanere :)

Hotel is great overall, but beds are really hard surface type. The hotel feels like was last renovated / built some 20 or so years ago, which makes everything looks dated. However, in terms of cleanliness, service and location it is an excellent hotel (if you are ok sleeping on a hard bed). Staff is very helpful. We didn’t try spa or dining so cannot comment here. Location is good: it is not too far from central district yet if you’re driving (we did) you don’t have to drive through the most congested areas. There are a few excellent coffee places nearby. Many places around to eat.

Stato qui dal 10 Apr al 14 Apr. È circa 10-15mins passeggiata stazione ferroviaria Taichung. L'hotel è situato nel quartiere centrale di Taichung (i palazzi sono più vecchi), ma l'hotel stesso sembra e si sente relativamente nuovo e moderno. Si trova a buon mercato vicino a molte opzioni alimentari, e il Taichung Second Market e Miyahara è a pochi passi da 5-10mins. La stanza è pulita e spaziosa. Ha anche un bel design moderno. Le strutture di base come lo shampoo, gel da doccia, lozione e asciugacapelli sono fornite. Non sembrano trovare canali locali sulla TV ma si possono utilizzare applicazioni come netflix e youtube. L'hotel offre anche un complimentare colazione, tempo del tè (se ricordo bene) e cena. La varietà è accettabile dato che non è un grande hotel. il cibo è anche decente. Per colazione c'era un mini salad bar, una stazione di porridge, diverse tazze a vapore, tostature. Per cena c'erano tazze a base di riso e di tazze a fiocchi di carne, zuppa, stazione di noodle DIY, tazze a vapore, tostature, stazione di bevanda DIY, alcuni snacks/tidbits. Ci sono anche dolci con zuppa di feci rosse/verde, bevande e gelatina. Solo un piccolo hiccup - un falso allarme d'incendio è stato attivato alle 4:00 in una delle notti che hanno colpito solo i piani più alti dal 9° magazzino e sopra. Gli ospiti del nostro magazzino non sapevano se l'ascensore funzionasse o se fosse sicuro da usare e siamo finiti per scendere le scale, solo per scoprire più tardi che non c'era un incendio reale. Gli ospiti colpiti aspettavano circa 30 minuti nella sala mentre l'allarme era ancora in aria. L'hotel si scusava per il disagio, facendo un avviso nell'ascensore e informando gli ospiti di raggiungere se ci fossero domande. Sarebbe bello se l'hotel potesse coinvolgere più direttamente gli ospiti interessati e fornire una qualche forma di compensazione come recupero di servizio. Tuttavia, un piacevole soggiorno in generale!

We traveled to Taiwan with our family and stayed at Suye Hotel for four days, booking four rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The room design was also very beautiful and well thought out. Thank you for helping us make our experience in Taiwan even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate it!

Buona dimensione della camera. Buona varietà di colazione soprattutto il miscelatore di succo di frutta. Il mio bambino ama la sala da gioco. Ho la camera da bagno anche se stavo cercando la camera da giacconi. Prendi atto che la piscina non esiste a meno che non prenoti la stanza giusta.

I love the whole vibe of the hotel where it give off this rustic industrial look but the interior of the room is really nice. Front desk was super accommodating when we wanted to upgrade our room but the initial upgraded room was not to our liking and they kindly suggested another room for us to have a look first before we decide on it. we were able to check in an hour earlier as well and was able to keep our luggage at the front desk after check out and return back later to collect. overall an amazing experience with SOF hotel and would definitely come back to stay when im in taichung again

Room was clean and amenities were ample, bed is comfortable and location is convenient. But I didn't like that the shower hot water wasn't always hot, especially on the morning of my check out day :( Also, the room lights control panel was a little too bright making it hard to get total darkness for sleep in the room.
