AAunty TanGood service, convenient location, and decent breakfast. There’s a 24-hour porridge shop just across the street. Nearby, there are FamilyMart and 7-Eleven. You can also walk to the shopping mall, the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus stop, and the night market.

UUtente ospiteMy stay at this hotel is a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure that all instructions were clear and helpful throughout my visit. My room was impressively clean and spacious, and there is daily welcome food platter. The bed was cozy, allowing me to sleep very well each night. While the hotel is located at the western district, a bit far from the central district, there are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of restaurants in the vicinity, which made it convenient for me. The breakfast options were abundant, offering something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service, comfort, and amenities!

TTungBest resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

JJonibigoodLa struttura è molto attraente, è molto attraente e si trova in una posizione molto confortevole. Tornerò lì se ritornerò a Taichung.È ben situato vicino al centro della città, ma un po' lontano dalla stazione ad alta velocità, che fa il viaggio all'aeroporto taoyuan un po' più lungo.

EEd TanMore for budget travellers, it's a decent stay for that price however cleanliness of the room was undesirable with dormant dust lingering since the moment we stepped in and persisted after a request to make up the rooms. Overall location was great but the room, bed and environment makes one very very itchy. Room is quite small but at least there is a communal area for eating takeout.

MMiniho83I was quite surprised that our room was ready and allowed us to check in early. This is definitely a plus point as it gave us time to rest especially travelling up from Taipei with 2 kids with us. Overall, Im quite pleased with everything provided during the stay. Thank you!

UUtente anonimoStayed here from 10 Apr to 14 Apr. It is about 10-15mins walk Taichung Railway station. The hotel is within the central district of Taichung (buildings are older here), but the hotel itself looks and feel relatively new and modern. It is conveniently located near lots of food options, and the Taichung Second Market and Miyahara is only about 5-10mins walk away. The room is clean and spacious. It has a nice modern design too. The basic amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, lotion and hairdryer are provided. Can’t seem to find local channels on the TV but you can use apps like netflix and youtube. The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast, tea time (if i recall correctly) and supper. The variety is acceptable given that this is not a big hotel. food is decent too. For breakfast there was a mini salad bar, porridge station, various steamed buns, toasts. For supper, there were braised minced meat rice and side dishes, soup, DIY noodle station, steamed buns, toasts, DIY beancurd station, some snacks/tidbits. There is also dessert with red/green bean soup, drinks and ice cream. Just one minor hiccup - a false fire alarm was trigger at 4am on one of the nights which only affected the higher floors from 9th storey and above. The guests on our storey werent aware if the lift is working or if it is safe to use and we ended up climbing the stairs down, only to find out later that there was no real fire. The affected guests waited at the lounge for about 30mins as the alarm was still ringing. The firemen eventually came and turned off the alarm. The hotel did apologise for the inconvenience by pasting a notice in the lift and informed guests to reach out to them if there are any queries. It would be nice if the hotel can engage the affected guests more directly and possible provide some form of compensation as service recovery. Nonetheless, still a pleasant stay overall!

XXinYurFamiglie con bambini e anziani con 2 letti matrimoniali quadri. La stanza è pulita, il letto is.comfortable. i bambini sono felici con il jacuzzi. La posizione non è conveniente, ma.forniscono servizi di navetta al mercato di Feng Jia notturno e da e verso.Fortunatamente abbiamo il nostro autotrasportatore per andare ad altre attrazioni turistiche, quindi è ancora ok. In generale è un piacevole soggiorno.

MMyco剛進大廳有總高級飯店的味道！因為我是用支付寶去付款所以沒辦法只有提供台灣證件去辦理，接待的櫃檯也很幫忙處理我的難題。他的電梯應該是還沒有很完全的改裝完全所以感覺不到很人性化！進了房間看起來很不錯櫃檯有幫我升級乾濕分離的浴室，也有我最喜歡的窗戶門面（冬天曬太陽很重要）窗簾在睡眠時也把遮光嚴密的很不錯。或許廁所的蓮蓬頭需要在人性化一下，還有隔音加強一下分數會更高！六樓有些設備可以使用，但是看起來應該是還沒有很多客人的關係所以沒有開啟蒸氣房和烤箱！不過有提供氣泡水讓我驚訝了一下。目前這幾天的商務活動感覺退房時間好像旅館都說政府規定11點退房這真的讓我驚訝了！我常常跑國外的旅館好像只有台灣要11點退房，老實說11點的要求確實有點早了！最後是好像旅館的灰塵是否有點多了，因為早上我的眼鏡上有些灰塵（晚上還感覺不出來，可能是陽光反射看得更明顯）

UUtente anonimoIl personale della reception ha gentilmente menzionato al momento del check-in che era possibile noleggiare un repellente per zanzare, grazie alle piante, il che è stato un bel gesto. Le piante e il design nella hall e nell'atrio erano bellissimi. La camera non era grande, ma la pulizia era pessima. Anche quando non la usavo, c'erano tre chiazze di capelli lunghi nel water e nella doccia (l'ospite era un uomo con i capelli corti). Anche la testiera del letto era molto impolverata. Quando mi sono lamentato con il personale della reception al momento del check-out, mi hanno dato solo una risposta superficiale, il che è stato molto deludente. Lo scarico della doccia era difettoso; l'acqua traboccava durante le docce normali. Onestamente, non ci tornerei.
