CCP_LeeI write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all.
The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing?
The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room.
On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before.
It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well?
Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me.
It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again

CCecilia PorQuesta è la mia terza volta che sono rimasto qui. Molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e al centro alimentare vicino. La stanza è pulita ma piuttosto piccolo e limitato spazio se hai bagagli più grandi. Tuttavia, il colazione è delizioso e è una scelta più sana durante il nostro soggiorno in questo giro. Il personale di servizio è molto gentile e cortese in ogni momento. Il personale di ricezione ha anche il record che ho soggiornato prima. C'è anche un'area di attesa con sedili e tavolo per gli ospiti con musica rilassante in gioco. Una piccola area anche per i bambini più giovani. Una buona scelta per l'alloggio hotel se si intende visitare Taichung.

FFlow.dotcomHo avuto un ottimo soggiorno all'Hotel Millennium Taichung! Questa è davvero un'esperienza 5-star dal momento in cui sono arrivato. Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole, attento e professionale. Appena il mio taxi si alzò, il campanello venne subito e mi aiutava con il bagaglio, anche se lo mandava direttamente nella mia stanza senza dover affrontare nulla.
La stanza era molto spaziosa e confortevole, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo un giorno di giornata. Mi piacevano soprattutto i piccoli tocchi, come la macchina del caffè Nespresso per una bella tazza di caffè. La sorpresa più grande è stata la complimentare mini barci erano quattro bottiglie di bevande molli fornite gratuitamente, che era un bel bonus!
Il bagno era anche impressionantemente grande, pulito e ben progettato, aggiungendo al sentimento di lusso generale del soggiorno.
In generale, consiglio fortemente l'Hotel Millennium Taichung se stai cercando comfort, comodità e eccellente servizio. Sarei sicuramente rimasto qui ancora! 😊

UUtente ospiteBest resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

UUtente ospiteEverything is great, especially the hospitality of the staff. The room is clean. Another thing we’d like to suggest is that the breakfast offered by the hotel could be improved. It was the same breakfast served for the two days we stayed. We look forward to the hotel introducing more changes and surprises for our next visit.

Rreg333excellent service by all staff; all smiley and ready to help. the free meals were such a bonus and god sent as some days we got too busy with our itinerary and didn’t have time to eat so we would go back to hotel for supper. although the menu was the same everyday, we didn’t mind as the quality was quite decent and there were varieties. the water pressure was the best! bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, smart tv, quick resolution service by technicians when we couldn’t connect to the room wifi. overall would recommend! there’s also a massage service with discount for room guests; quite mediocre but for the price ok la.

HHongblaMy stay at T-hotel in Taichung was a breeze. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city. The room was modern, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience even better.

JjocolocoI love the whole vibe of the hotel where it give off this rustic industrial look but the interior of the room is really nice. Front desk was super accommodating when we wanted to upgrade our room but the initial upgraded room was not to our liking and they kindly suggested another room for us to have a look first before we decide on it. we were able to check in an hour earlier as well and was able to keep our luggage at the front desk after check out and return back later to collect. overall an amazing experience with SOF hotel and would definitely come back to stay when im in taichung again
