"Ho avuto grandi aspettative, ma sono stato molto irritato dal desk che chiedeva di vedere il mio Visa. Le ho detto che sono entrato legalmente e non sono immigrati. Questo mi ha davvero disturbato come nessuno degli hotel chiese una domanda così burocratica e annoiante. Peggio della Cina.
La stanza 101 sembra la peggiore, ha una finestra con una cortina di fronte all'area pubblica e sicuramente abbastanza prima di 8 sono alcuni dipendenti necessari per tagliare le foglie morti mentre non ho privacy.
I mosquiti hanno disturbato il mio sonno e il rumore insensato degli ospiti dall'ascensore alle 5:00, un'isolamento sonoro cattivo.
Il pranzo era incredibile con una selezione di piaceri culinari.
Ben fatto,
Il resto del soggiorno era assolutamente meraviglioso, frutta e caffè in una stanza moderna e deliziosa, che comprendeva alcune delle frustrazioni.
Per favore, smettila di fare la domanda irritante di visto, mi ha rovinato notevolmente la mente, altrimenti avrei dato un punteggio perfetto."

"The name of the place is exactly righty. The design is crazy and the rooms have beautiful details that make you want to spend time here.
The rooms were a little damp since they don’t have heating as it was raining outside. But the experience was still worth it, since you had the premises all to yourself after the masses of tourists roaming around during the day.
Our room, the Gourd room, was the best, since it’s the highest and in a dead end so people won’t constantly pass by your room. Spend a night here to have a unique experience.
It would be nice if the hotel would provide a little breakfast for that price. They have a café so logistically this wouldn’t be a problem…"

"The reception staff speaks English very well and are very helpful. We checked out early and asked the staff to book a car to take us back to Ho Chi Minh. The staff prepared everything. We had an appointment early in the morning and the staff recommended a hotel that was not far away. We could leave late so that we wouldn't be tired. They recommended it very well. The room was very clean and spacious. It was easy to find the hotel. It was near the walking street and there were many restaurants around. It was great. I will go back and use the service again when I have a chance."

"Eventho its a bit small but the location is great and right at the city center! Love how easy it is to borrow a scooter from the reception but they will hold our passport eventho there is no deposit needed. The room is a bit small but its clean and cozy. The best bed I’ve had. It has massage if you want you can ask the reception and they also sell snack eventho it is more expensive than in town. And also their receptionist is super friendly 🫶🏻🥰"

TThe ExcursionistCam Ly Homestay in Dalat offers a memorable retreat with its warm hospitality and stunning views. Although I encountered a minor issue checking in during booking, Trip swiftly resolved it and even followed up to ensure I had settled in comfortably.
The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views from my room. I was treated to a picturesque view.
Conveniently located, Cam Ly Homestay is just a short distance away from the famous Crazy House and within walking distance of other attractions. This makes it an ideal base for exploring Dalat and immersing yourself in the local culture. The homestay's strategic location allowed me to easily access authentic cuisine and experience the city's charm.
Given the chance, I would have extended my stay without hesitation. Cam Ly Homestay's blend of warm hospitality, gorgeous views, and convenient location make it an irresistible choice for anyone visiting Dalat. Be aware that the home stay is about a 45 minute drive traffic dependent from the airport. Instead of using local taxis, download the Grab app and apply a discount for the best way of traveling there. Also be aware that you will pay extra for toll fees. Also be aware that the car can only drop you at the bottom of the alleyway. You’ll need to walk the last 10m uphill. WW_HanOther than the roadwork posing a risk and inconvenience along the entire stretch of road in front of the hotel, everything was great during our stay. The room was very clean with good air-conditioning to heat the room during the cold nights in December. The water pressure was great even though our rooms were on the 4th floor. Hot water was almost instantaneous, except the water temperature can be a little inconsistent. The bed was not hard like many of the hotels in Vietnam. Comfy bed. The young team from reception to breakfast area to housekeeping was welcoming and enthusiastic , especially a few at breakfast who recommended specialty dishes for us to try. Although the breakfast buffet was not huge, at least 70% of the selections was not repeated during our 4 days of breakfast. This is certainly something uncommon even in 5-star hotels, and is a great way for international travelers to sample a variety of dishes from different parts of Vietnam. We actually looked forward to eating breakfast everyday while chatting with some of the breakfast crew members. The only part I would recommend to improve is for the crew at reception to remember to look up and greet the guests even at night, which a few forgot to do so at times.

JJaxzEnglish Language - 5/10 stars. Compare to Ho Chi Minh City hotel staffs, Sandals Camellia’s proficiency is basic but still acceptable and good with me. Because if you travel to the other shops around the hotel buying stuffs or having a meal it will be even worse! Only a few shop owners can converse in English and many aren’t patient in communicating though they are still friendly and approachable.
Price - 10/10 stars. Dalat City Hotels seems very much competitive against hotels at Ho Chi Minh City. For the price paid, the service, amenities and breakfast compared I like it the best and very much better! If you’re not into Vietnam shopping, you should visit Dalat instead! For me I’m a nature and scenery lover! Dalat highly recommended over Ho Chi Minh City!
Service - 6/10 stars, basic taxi calling service is there. But unlike Ho Chi Minh City hotels, there’s no Hotel Tour Service. Most of the staffs aren’t also very familiar with all the places of visit either, but they are all very approachable friendly and helpful, and try their best to google information for you for instance the address. If you visit Dalat, you’ve to ownself conduct homework at home before traveling there on what places of interests to visit. Also google doesn’t tells every single places of interest in Dalat. You need to ownself travel to the tour office to book a local taxi driver, whom then has the knowledge of their own city, he’ll will guide and show you and recommend you places around Dalat. But prepare to learn some Vietnamese as many tour drivers couldn’t communicate in English but fret not, as google translate is your friend and everyone there has a smart phone. The Dalat people are mostly jovial, approachable and friendly.
Breakfast/Food - 10/10 stars, Excellent I like it! I’m a buffet and Pho lover. For the price paid I’m extremely satisfied!
Bed - 9/10 stars, didn’t gave it a perfect 10 score rating as I’m a person who prefers thick and hard pillows.
Aircon - 7/10 stars. Acceptable. The Aircon is working good and cool enough.
Toilet - 7/10 stars excellent! There’s warm water readily available, and ample showering lotion and shampoo, and other basic toiletries. The water from the handheld shower head is good and nice not weak flowing. However the missing 3 stars is the likelihood of a very wet bathroom floor. Basically it’s a Walk-in Shower design however it’s build as Curbless. The benefits of having Curbless is to benefits elderly and senior tourists who require mobility aids such as wheelchair the ease of accessing the showering area, and no risk of playful kids running and tripping over the Curbed, therefore Curbless is safer and better. Problem is the slope of the floor don’t seems right… the floor of the shower isn’t lower than the rest of the bathroom therefore water isn’t easily contained within the showering area and kept spilling to the rest of the bathroom floor, making a very messy toilet, unless you take special care to use a less strong spray and ensure you don’t accidentally spray outwards to prevent mini ponding to the rest of the bathroom floor. Also as mentioned earlier the Shower Head has nice strong spray, the drainage floor trap can be a little floody as water isn’t drained out fast enough…
Sound Proofing - No comments….. 3/10 stars. Unfortunately I’ve encountered very noisy neighbours during my stay, who slam their doors as they enter and exit their rooms even late at night. Also since the hotel is situated near a busy road, you can hear lots of horning and motorbikes speeding by even at night.
Other amenities - no reviews for mini bar or laundry service as I didn’t use them.
Overall rating - 7/10 stars highly recommended!

It’s true that the last time we stayed at the Dalat Heritage Hotel was years back. It had a different name then too, when it was, we believe, under a different management. The place was beautiful, with vanished wooden floors, beds with canopies and bath tubs on steady golden legs. Golden taps and fresh looking bathroom tiles. Most importantly, it was clean, the cushioned chairs felt firmed, the rooms & bathrooms brightly lit. It was an equivalent if not better than the Raffles in Spore.
We decided in our latest trip to stay at the now Dalat Heritage Hotel for two nights, 23 & 24 July 2025 . We learnt that it had changed hands and while we expected it to have aged, we thought most hotel managements, would have done some upgrade, some renovation some replacements of essentials.
Sad to say, our stay was a tremendous let down. I’m trying not to use the adjectives “traumatising experience” and will not offer photos, so that the hotel has an opportunity to spruce it up and bring it to its former glory. The property has too much potential & history to be abandoned by visitors to Dalat.
We stepped into a an old, tired looking lobby. Waited a long time to register and was told to expect welcoming drinks which never came. We girls had to use the “ladies. ” another disappointment. It was old, the flush was a pull up lever which almost didn’t work. The taps were tarnished.
We finally got into our rooms. The floors were scratched, not quite the varnish, but we thought, it’s ok, a little authenticity, somethings must age. The beds still had its canopy, but the linens looked worn, tired. The little table with its two cushion chairs were well placed, but the cushions were totally worn, we could feel the base of the seat. There was a dressing table, thoughtful… but then there was no light for any lady, vain or otherwise, to apply her war paint. The room was badly lit, no extra lights at the dressing table or anywhere. The stand alone cupboards were large, but dark as well. I almost missed the black hair dryer kept in there, and we couldn’t find the room slippers and had to ask for help to locate it in the cupboards.
The most disappointing was the bathroom. It was badly lit as well. The taps were all tarnished and without my glasses, I could see the bits of mould growing around the base of the tap. There was also limescale deposits. The floor tiles were badly worn, and I wish I could say it gave the bathroom a feel of the grandeur of yesterday years ageing gracefully, but hygiene is too important here to do so. The highlight was when we took a shower and stepped into the bathtub supported by “stone legs.” It wobbled continuously and made such a lot of noise that kept the user on edge. Then, we saw it all, the grouting of the wall tiles were caked with black moulds. To top it all, the bathroom had a stench of clogged pipes. It stayed with us like a faithful friend that won’t leave even if we tried pushing him out the door!! Did I mention the mosquitoes that bunked in with us? They bit my friend on the face & eye lid which swelled for 2 days. In the mornings, they sounded the wake up calls around our faces. If it had been possible, we would have cancelled the wake up calls.
Breakfast was good. There was a good spread and the chefs behind the counters were friendly and all smiles. However much could be done to train the waitresses, who hid in corners. I asked one of them where the toaster for the bread was, she said there was none. I found it on the second morning. It was there all along. I guess her English needs polishing.
Luckily, the porters were friendly and quite quick with umbrellas as it rained the whole 2 days we were there.
On the whole, the hotel had a handful of local guests while we were there. I hope they chip in, in encouraging the hotel to relook at its offerings. We would really like to go back, but perhaps, only if someone wrote a review that says otherwise.

UUtente ospiteComing from Singapore, the cool weather was superb. Facade of hotel brings you to Europe. All rooms are located in villa-like houses set in a beautiful garden. Service was 6-star. A particular staff at breakfast (Lucas) has to be commended for his attentiveness and helpfulness in providing information on where to visit and eat throughout our stay with them. Dinner at their only restaurant was wonderful, not too expensive and, again we enjoyed their warm service. The grilled lobster and fish were delicious and fresh (surprisingly).
We took Grab taxis everywhere (which was very affordable) to all places of interest as the hotel does not have much amenities within walking distance.

La prima volta era più di un anno fa quando mia moglie era incinta di sei mesi.
La seconda volta, il bambino aveva dieci mesi.

AAwilumL’hotel ha una posizione molto conveniente. Le camere sono pulite e luminose, con grandi finestre. In mia stanza, la finestra era di fronte al sole, e la luce del sole ha riscaldato la stanza tutto il giorno. Questo ha reso la stanza piacevolmente calda, anche la sera. E' stato bello tornare in una stanza calda dopo un lungo giorno, grazie sia alla luce del sole che alla vista di un bel sole.
Il posto dei cantieri era conveniente, e la stanza comprendeva un caldo, che mi permetteva di fare il tè facilmente. Il doccia calda era anche un plus. L'area di parcheggio era sicura, chiusa, sotterranea, e molto spaziosaperfetta per biciclette e auto. In generale, l'hotel mi ha dato un senso di sicurezza e cucina.
Ma c’era una cosa che ho incontrato, il bagno era molto piccolo e la doccia continuava ad inondare la stanza. Il primo giorno ho informato il personale di questo problema. Risposero immediatamente, spogliando il pavimento con asciugamani e rimuovendo l’acqua, ma purtroppo il problema persisteva. Il giorno dopo, gli chiesi di ripararlo, e rimuovendo il filtro del pavimento, che bloccava il drenaggio dell’acqua. Mentre questo migliorava la situazione, non risolveva completamente il problema. Sembrava che la zona di doccia non fosse stata adeguatamente sigillata, poiché l’acqua continuava a spruzzarsi nella stanza, rendendo impossibile prendere una doccia lunga, limitandomi a quelle molto brevi.
Nonostante ciò, la mia impressione generale sull'hotel è positiva.

LLintongxietaoyanxiatianIl vestiario della stanza è troppo vecchio, era stato riparato in una nuova decorazione. Il risultato è che la qualità della decorazione non è molto buona. Il bagno è molto lento. La dimensione della coperta di cavallo non corrisponde alla cassa originale. Fortunatamente, la posizione geografica dell'hotel è ancora buona.

Tutti gli interni sono antichi e la costruzione è fatta di mattoni e legno così grande atmosfera.
Wifi, posizione, personale e colazione sono tutti grandi.
