"Ho prenotato questo hotel perché diceva che ci sono parcheggi. Quando sono arrivato al check-in, il personale ha detto solo che non erano disponibili e mi ha indirizzato al parcheggio vicino dove devo pagare una tariffa.
Il personale che si trova al banco del check-in non è stato molto gentile, a differenza del personale che si trova all'ingresso della colazione e di fronte all'area dell'ascensore, è stato molto gentile e disponibile.

"Box Design Hostel turned out to be a really good choice for my stay in Taichung. The location is great — close to everything, well connected, and easy to find food or transport around.
The hostel is super clean. I was really impressed by how tidy the rooms and bathrooms were. Hair dryers, shampoo, and body wash were provided, which was nice and convenient. I also loved that they had free coffee, tea, and bottled water available anytime — very useful for travellers on the go!
There are just a couple of downsides. The beds are quite slim, so if you prefer a spacious sleeping area, you might feel a bit cramped. Also, there are no towels provided, so bring your own if you plan to stay here.
Other than that, it’s a solid hostel with a friendly vibe and great value. Would recommend for budget travellers who want comfort and cleanliness."

"When we checked in which was rather late ,was smooth but there is only one elevator and you have to wait for quite sometime. The room is spacious, there were shampoo and body wash but no tooth brush. Breakfast provided was quite good, although not those elaborate type. And they do changed some of the dishes for the 4nights I stayed. Gym was small, there is a laundry at B1 for only 20twn, dryer 20twn. They do provide some biscuits too at the lobby with drinks。"

YYH_AllenI did not expect this accommodation to be a motel based on its Chinese name, so it was a bit of a surprise when I checked in.
The location is very convenient, which is a big plus. However, the overall environment had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. The room itself was spacious, but for guests arriving on foot, the access route is not very intuitive—you need to go down to the basement first and then enter through the parking garage, which makes the circulation feel somewhat inconvenient.

CCecilia PorQuesta è la mia terza volta che sono rimasto qui. Molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e al centro alimentare vicino. La stanza è pulita ma piuttosto piccolo e limitato spazio se hai bagagli più grandi. Tuttavia, il colazione è delizioso e è una scelta più sana durante il nostro soggiorno in questo giro. Il personale di servizio è molto gentile e cortese in ogni momento. Il personale di ricezione ha anche il record che ho soggiornato prima. C'è anche un'area di attesa con sedili e tavolo per gli ospiti con musica rilassante in gioco. Una piccola area anche per i bambini più giovani. Una buona scelta per l'alloggio hotel se si intende visitare Taichung.

FFlow.dotcomHo avuto un ottimo soggiorno all'Hotel Millennium Taichung! Questa è davvero un'esperienza 5-star dal momento in cui sono arrivato. Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole, attento e professionale. Appena il mio taxi si alzò, il campanello venne subito e mi aiutava con il bagaglio, anche se lo mandava direttamente nella mia stanza senza dover affrontare nulla.
La stanza era molto spaziosa e confortevole, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo un giorno di giornata. Mi piacevano soprattutto i piccoli tocchi, come la macchina del caffè Nespresso per una bella tazza di caffè. La sorpresa più grande è stata la complimentare mini barci erano quattro bottiglie di bevande molli fornite gratuitamente, che era un bel bonus!
Il bagno era anche impressionantemente grande, pulito e ben progettato, aggiungendo al sentimento di lusso generale del soggiorno.
In generale, consiglio fortemente l'Hotel Millennium Taichung se stai cercando comfort, comodità e eccellente servizio. Sarei sicuramente rimasto qui ancora! 😊

TTungBest resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

TTan Kim WhattBest hotel we stayed since our Taiwan trip. Was upgraded to a huge room and it exceeded our expectation. Every things was explained to us patiently during our check in. It was all within walking distance to 2nd market, Miyahara and night market. Will definitely stay again in Taichung if we ever return.

TTiffytif17La stanza è come descritto e mostrato sulle foto. Ho dato un 4 per la pulizia come alla prima notte, ho trovato i capelli sul letto e un foro sul tovagliolo. Ho riferito al personale via LINE (in Taiwan usano principalmente LINE per comunicare). Si sono prese rapidamente azioni e si sono offerti di cambiare le lastre e di pulire la stanza. Quando sono rimasto per una settimana, hanno organizzato un soggiorno il giorno 4 della mia stanza. La prova del suono non è la migliore, ma se necessario, sono forniti in camera.
È stato inverno a Taiwan quando ero lì, quindi avere una doccia calda è importante e l'acqua calda è disponibile. Mi piace che ci sia un distributore d'acqua a ogni livello di camera, le gallerie di rubinetto e di riciclaggio sono situati fuori, quindi è conveniente.
La posizione dell'hotel è a circa 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria Taichung. Se si portano bagagli grandi, consigliate di prendere un Uber. È vicino a una strada centrale (yizhong Street) dove si possono trovare molti negozi, cibo, ecc. Dal centro commerciale, tagliando attraverso il parco spaziale aperto, si sarà nella zona commerciale.
Come una donna che viaggia da soli, all'inizio ero un po' preoccupata per la posizione del centro commerciale. L'ingresso al centro commerciale è in una strada accanto a un bar di bistro. È necessario la carta di accesso per entrare nel centro commerciale, quindi si trova, assicurarsi che sia chiuso dopo l'ingresso. Il desk front opera solo dalle 11:00 alle 10:30. Rreg333excellent service by all staff; all smiley and ready to help. the free meals were such a bonus and god sent as some days we got too busy with our itinerary and didn’t have time to eat so we would go back to hotel for supper. although the menu was the same everyday, we didn’t mind as the quality was quite decent and there were varieties. the water pressure was the best! bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, smart tv, quick resolution service by technicians when we couldn’t connect to the room wifi. overall would recommend! there’s also a massage service with discount for room guests; quite mediocre but for the price ok la.

JJgoh81In primo luogo, la gestione dell'hotel ha una forte empatia che mi permette di cancellare una notte scorsa a causa di problemi familiari che devo controllare un giorno prima.
Ma per la mia sorpresa, il check-in è sorprendente alle 4:00.
Le strutture di ginnastica sono in fase di rinnovamento ma non hanno informato l'ospite prima del check-in.
Il Trip.com ha dichiarato aperto il 2023, che è molto fuorviante che l'hotel è stato ristrutturato o costruito di nuovo. Ma le camere sono vecchie ma fortunatamente non sono in esercizio e le camere sono pulite.

UUtente ospiteThis is our first time to make an accommodation in this hotel for my family trip with my granddaughter. We came there earlier before 16:00 in Jan 2, 2026. I asked an earlier checking around 14:40 but the girl who seated in the front desk said there system is not working yet and request me to wait in the lobby. In Jan 2, 2026, the weather of Taichung is not so well, windy all the day. I have to asked Trip Agent to coordinate this earlier check in for me but it took me around 50 minutes to get permission for earlier check in after received a phone call from Trip. This is first impression.
I request one more blanket for my granddaughter, the receptionist said it was charged but I never noted this when I made my reservation. It looks this hotel will charge most when you have extra demand. It is Ok but I never see a list price for this kind of extra service.
One more strage thing, I need to book my breakfast schedule. It using a time frame for different customer because the room inner space is not big enough. We have to seat in the outside close space without air-condintioned area. It is pretty chilly outside. Furthermore, this is not dinning ware for children to have at all. Very strange management.
The room facilities is out one date as well. The toilet waste is very simple and floor carpet is dirty also. The comforter cover does not tie up and The comforter is very easily fall out of cover in the midnight and make sleep quality poor.
