"Nel complesso un buon posto con un design luminoso. La posizione è a circa 20-25 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria o a 15 minuti dalla stazione della metropolitana con collegamento diretto per l'aeroporto. È accogliente per gli stranieri, dato che il personale cordiale parla un po' di inglese o cerca di comunicare tramite un traduttore online. Il letto era molto comodo, l'aria condizionata funzionava bene per rinfrescare, il Wi-Fi era veloce. Due piccole pecche: lo scarico della doccia non funzionava bene e c'era uno strano odore in camera al mio arrivo, ma niente di grave. La colazione non è a buffet. Vi verrà servito un vassoio con del cibo, come mostrato in foto. Se vi piacciono le zampe di pollo e i gamberi in porridge di riso a colazione, li adorerete :)
D'altro canto, ti insistono molto per lasciare una recensione a 5 stelle al momento del check-out. Hanno persino un manuale apposito in diverse lingue. Questo rovina la buona impressione generale.

"Unfortunately had a frustrating stay with everything absolutely disorganised and poorly managed. Check-in took over 40 minutes, and even though I arrived well after the official 2 pm check-in time, I was told my room still wasn’t ready because it was being cleaned (the same went for most people in the queue). The lobby and public areas were constantly noisy and chaotic, with kids running around unchecked which felt more like a theme park than a hotel. Breakfast the next morning wasn’t much better as I had to wait over 20 minutes just to be seated, and by that time the atmosphere had already killed my appetite.
The one real positive is the hotel’s location that gives you easy access to the metro station and most of the city’s main attractions. The property itself feels a little dated (90s luxury as you can imagine), but it’s reasonably well kept. Unfortunately the staff all seemed overwhelmed and disconnected from the front desk to housekeeping. There seemed to have no real warmth or sense of hospitality. Overall this will probably be my first and last stay at an IHG hotel."

"A very helpful hotel located very near the airport. The nearest metro station is the airport so if you want to go into the city you will have to walk over to the airport or book a taxi."

TTokkiiiWe stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit.
Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes.
Where do I even start?
The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect.
The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference.
Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures.
One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy.
We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care.
To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here.
This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere.
If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Il giardino pensile a 5 piani offre un'ampia vista e la hall dell'hotel è magnifica. La camera è arredata in uno stile caldo e confortevole. La piscina, la sauna, il bagno turco, la palestra e la sala yoga sono tutte molto apprezzate. La colazione del ristorante cinese è così ricca che non si può immaginare nulla di impossibile da preparare, e gli ingredienti principali sono garantiti sia in termini di qualità che di quantità. Il pane venduto al bancone del panificio nella hall è super delizioso. Ci andrò il mese prossimo proprio per questo.

Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here.
I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment.
The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone.
The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese.
There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt.
The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space.
The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel.
There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee.
The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality.
There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

KK LacsOcean loft is an apartment. Not a hotel. The location is perfect for tourist.and the view from the window is beautiful. But i would say the cleanliness isnt good. The toilet smells. And there are crumbs of biscuit on the floor. But overall its okay. Because of the location i would give it 5/10.

UUtente anonimoL'hotel accoglie stranieri. Grande posizione, a piedi dalla stazione Dalian, essenzialmente sulla piazza Zhongshan. Molti negozi e ristoranti vicino. La stanza era buona, ci è anche una lavatrice (non l'ha usata però). Forse l’unico problema era che la carta di soggiorno non funzionava, quindi ho dovuto ottenere una password, che era scaduta ogni giorno a mezzanotte, e ho dovuto contattare la ricezione per ottenere una nuova. Ma non è così che dovrebbe essere, quindi non mi preoccuparei troppo.In generale, una grande opzione.
