"Adoro questa guesthouse. A pochi passi dalla porta sud dell'antica città, a circa 200 metri. Zona tranquilla ma sicura. Ci sono alcuni ristoranti halal nelle vicinanze. "Abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno qui. Tutto era grande, tranne il bagno non poteva sfogliare il carta (che è comune nella zona della città antica, quindi si prega di prepararsi!).

XXNYLMy friend and I enjoyed our stay in the 'Yunxi 270° Seaview Terrace Double Bed Room' at Dali.Muxi Inn (大理木兮·半山Villa海景民宿). We found this hotel via reviews on XiaoHongShu and the room looked exactly like the stock photos. The hotel and room were beautiful, the hotel staff were very helpful, and we would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Dali and are looking for a hotel with an amazing view of Dali Erhai lake.
Number of nights of stay: 3 nights
Hotel location: The hotel is situated in a quiet but brightly lit residential/hotel estate at the end of winding uphill road (around the Dreamland/Santorini 圣托里尼大理理想邦 area), and is located about 20 minutes away from Dali Railway Station. The vehicle drop-off point is directly outside the hotel. The restaurants around the hotel close at about 8.30pm-9pm
Room: The 'Yunxi 270° Seaview Terrace Double Bed Room' is the only room located on the fifth floor. There is a lift in the hotel so it was convenient to transport our luggage. The room was perfect - it was really spacious, beautiful and clean. There was one king-sized bed, which was slightly too soft for my liking, but the pillows (one soft and one firmer memory foam pillow for each guest) were comfortable. There was a large living area with a sofa, three coffee tables and two additional chairs; balcony with two comfortable rocking chairs, a coffee table and a stunning view of the Erhai lake. The sky roof, when opened, was pretty in the daytime but it was difficult to see the stars at night due to the light pollution from the nearby buildings. The open concept wardrobe was large enough for us to hang our clothes
Bathroom: Two sinks, separate shower and toilet area, one jacuzzi. Toiletries (e.g. shampoo, conditioner and body soap), disposable toothbrush/toothpaste, rubber bathroom slippers and disposable bedroom slippers were provided. The shower had both a handheld shower head and rain shower, with good water pressure and temperature
Hotel amenities: Complimentary breakfast (from 8.30am-10.30am; delicious spread of noodles with soup, porridge, fried egg, bread and vegetable platter) and afternoon tea (Lotus Biscoff biscuits, yoghurt, fruits and plums); cafe at the reception area is opened during office hours and only sells beverages; beautiful reception area with a friendly and gentle 5-year-old house cat; communal washing machine (free of charge, inclusive of laundry detergent)
Transfer: Free airport pick-up for this room type. No free pick-up from Dali railway station

UUtente ospiteOur stay at Dali Xingmai Mountain and Sea View Homestay was pleasant overall and a good value for its price, especially if you're seeking a peaceful retreat in the quieter part of Dali. Traveling as a family, we were looking for a place that offered serene sea views, and this homestay mostly delivered on that. While there is some ongoing construction in front of the building that slightly affects the view, the surrounding scenery is still beautiful and calming. The cleanliness of the homestay was satisfactory, and it offers a good range of amenities. The kitchen, in particular, is well-equipped, making it a great option for families or groups of friends planning to cook and enjoy meals together. However, if you're simply traveling for leisure and don't plan to spend much time at the homestay, you may find the kitchen unnecessary. One thing to note is that there is no central air conditioning or heating system. The homestay provides a bed warmer (which works well) and a small air-conditioning unit in the living room, but the bedrooms can get quite chilly at night, especially during winter. It's something to consider if you're visiting during colder months. In terms of location, this homestay is ideal if you're looking to unwind in a quiet and restful environment. However, for those planning a busy schedule with visits to Dali's main attractions, the distance might be a drawback. The homestay is located in a residential area, and getting to most tourist spots can take 45-60 minutes by car, whether you're heading to the west or east side of Erhai Lake. There are also no nearby F&B stores except one small restaurant in the building next door so make sure you eat in the city areas before coming back to the inn. That said, if you're staying for a longer duration and prefer a relaxed, free-and-easy itinerary, this could be a suitable choice given its amenities like the kitchen and laundry facilities. It's also worth mentioning that this homestay feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional inn. It's situated in a residential building, with the entrance being a carpark and access through an elevator to a residential unit. There’s no lobby, service counter, or common areas. Instead, check-in and assistance are handled through WeChat. Despite some of the drawbacks, the service here truly stood out. The staff member assisting us was incredibly kind, prompt, and accommodating. Whenever we had questions or faced minor issues, she responded quickly and made every effort to resolve them, which helped make our trip smoother. Her attentiveness and helpfulness were a highlight of our stay and left a positive impression. While this homestay may not have been our favorite, the excellent service and peaceful setting make it a decent choice for travelers prioritizing quiet and self-sufficiency over convenience and luxury.
我们在大理落日山海海景民宿（洱海店）的整体入住体验还算愉快，性价比也不错，特别适合那些想在大理寻找一处安静避世之地的旅客。我们主要希望找到一个可以俯瞰大海、环境清幽的地方，这家民宿基本满足了我们的需求。虽然楼前有一些施工，稍微影响了景观，但周边的风景依然很美，很令人放松。 民宿的清洁度令人满意，且设施齐全。厨房尤其设备完善，非常适合家庭或朋友团队入住，大家可以一起烹饪和用餐。不过，如果您只是来大理休闲旅游而不会花太多时间待在民宿里，厨房的实用性可能就不大了。 需要注意的是，这家民宿没有中央空调或供暖系统。房间里提供了电热毯（效果不错）以及一个小型空调，但空调只在客厅使用，冬天的时候卧室会有些寒冷。如果您在寒冷季节入住，这一点需要特别留意。民宿位于一个住宅区，从这里到大理的大多数景点开车平均需要45到60分钟，无论是前往洱海西还是海东。此外，周边没有什么餐饮店，仅有隔壁楼内的一家小餐馆。所以建议您在回到民宿前先在市区用餐。不过，如果您计划长时间停留或想要悠闲地度过假期，这里的设施（如厨房和洗衣设备）会让您的入住更加舒适。 另外，这家民宿更像是Airbnb，而不是传统的旅馆。民宿位于一栋住宅楼中，入口是一处停车场，需要乘电梯到达房间所在的单元。这里没有前台、大堂或公共区域。所有的入住手续和服务都通过微信完成。尽管有一些不足之处，民宿的服务确实值得称赞。负责接待我们的工作人员非常友善、迅速且乐于助人。无论我们有什么问题或遇到什么小麻烦，她都及时回应并尽力帮我们解决，这让我们的旅程顺利了不少。她的细心和贴心服务是此次入住的一大亮点，也给我们留下了深刻的印象。虽然这家民宿不是我们的最爱，但出色的服务和安静的环境让它成为了一个还算不错的选择，适合那些更看重宁静和自给自足，而不是便利和豪华的旅客。

UUtente ospiteThe experience at AnYu was perfect. The hotel is located in the ancient city. Taxi/Uber can park right in front the hotel entrance unlike some other ancient city hotels need to walk from the main street, which is incredibly convenient.
The ”Nanyang style” decor style is retro and divine. Every single piece of the furniture and decor item is beautifully chosen, even including the fire distinguisher box! Excellent ambiance, BOSE music system is throughout the whole building. Dyson hair dryer, different type of charging cables in the best side table, every single details reflect the thoughtfulness.
From exquisite afternoon tea, night snack (Broth of white fungus or hot milk), to ‘fine dining’ breakfast, every detail has been handled perfectly, and all complimentary.
Big thank you to the staff, international 5+ star hotel standard, their beautiful smile truly make you feel like home, and hands down they make best coffee in Dali!

MM491468****Penso che questa scelta sia giusta, il rapporto di prezzo è davvero alto.L'igiene è davvero la chiave per vivere comodamente.Entra nella stanza, si sente limpido, il letto è pulito e il servizio è molto presente, non deliberatamente ma molto intimido. Un giorno prima, il capo ha chiamato il capo e ha chiesto se c'era un'auto, non c'era bisogno di un posto di rimpatrio. Dopo l'arrivo, ha aiutato a prendere il bagaglio. E'entusiasta e molto familiare con il capo.Quando si vive, dimentica di portare il caricatore e, come ha detto al capo, presto l'ho portato correttamente; I bambini hanno appena portato il polso al capo con un farmaco antiparassitario immediatamente, in totale è più attento di alcuni luoghi.Al contrario, questa volta vivevano soddisfatti, e i bambini godono di Dali molto felice, e dicono ai bambini che la prossima volta verranno a viaggiare, e probabilmente sceglierebbe qui.

MMa LeiGrazie, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno meraviglioso qui così vicino alla città antica del Dali (a soli 1 minuto dall'hotel). L'hotel ha organizzato anche un tour privato per prendere mio marito e io intorno a Erhai e ci ha anche aiutato a prendere molte belle foto quando siamo stati a Dali Santorini. La camera dell'hotel era molto pulita e molto confortevole. Anche preparavano del sale da bagno e dei petali rosa se voglio bagnarmi in un bagno caldo dopo un lungo giorno (e naturalmente ho fatto 😁🥰). Il colazione era bello, ci ha dato un bagchang perché quel giorno era il Festival della barca del drago, così dolce di loro. Il personale era molto utile, organizzato per prendere noi e ci ha portati indietro alla stazione del treno Dali Bullet senza alcun problema. Sarei sicuramente tornato e rimarrei qui se riuscissimo a visitare Dali.

Il conducente è molto paziente e consiglia molte attrazioni che meritano un viaggio.La stanza dell'hotel è molto pulita e confortevole, e si prepara anche la pasticceria e il fiore di tè, per permettermi di fare un po'di acqua calda dopo il viaggio di un giorno (sì, ho fatto 😁🥰). La colazione è anche molto buona. Era il Festival del Lunch quel giorno. Ci hanno anche inviato una scatola speciale, davvero molto intima.Il personale è molto entusiasta e ci ha aiutato a organizzare il trasferimento alla stazione ferroviaria Dali High, tutto è molto bene. Se rientramo a Dali la prossima volta, scelgo di vivere qui.

Ddeci16I cannot recommend Sunyata Homestay in Dali enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience of genuine warmth and care. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a serene escape after long days of exploring. The afternoon tea and breakfast they served were nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality.
The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility.
A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels.
The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless.
The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family.
Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

L'uscita fuori a volte può influenzare l'atmosfera di viaggio a causa di un piccolo problema, ma se incontra un buon proprietario, aumenterà notevolmente! Andare a prendere la città antica di Dali, la piattaforma di Longjiang, la strada di marzo, e prendere molte belle foto.
