George Town: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno rilassante e memorabile presso E&O. La nostra camera offre una vista sul mare che è grande e si sente tranquilla. Anche se l'hotel è un po' vecchio, è generalmente ben mantenuto. Il personale è sempre sorridente e disposto ad aiutare. Ogni giorno forniscono nuovi asciugamani e acqua in bottiglia.Il servizio del personale al buffet del colazione è eccellente. Il sole è stato bello.

In Penang, The Prestige Hotel is hailed as a shining gem in the city, and for me, it is even more beloved in my heart. Every time I step into this magical place, I feel immense joy and comfort. From the moment I step into the lobby, the staff at The Prestige Hotel leave a profound impression with their warmth and enthusiasm. They always greet me with smiles, willing to help me open car doors, carry luggage, and greet me warmly anytime and anywhere. This kind of warm treatment makes me feel truly at home. Every stay here is an unforgettable experience. The hotel's luxurious decor and meticulously designed details showcase their unparalleled care for guests. Whether it's the comfortable rooms or luxurious facilities, I feel an unmatched sense of enjoyment. Apart from the charm of the hotel itself, I am deeply fascinated by Penang. I love strolling through the city's streets, exploring its rich and colorful culture and history. From street food to ancient buildings, every corner is full of surprises and charm. And after a day of exploration, being able to return to the embrace of The Prestige Hotel and enjoy their unparalleled hospitality is a source of happiness and satisfaction. The staff here are not just servers; they are like friends to me. They always listen to my needs attentively and strive to make me feel comfortable and satisfied. Therefore, I deeply love Penang and The Prestige Hotel. They have created unforgettable experiences for me time and time again, filling me with endless love and longing for this city.

Loved my stay! We were soooo happy to be upgraded to a room with a view that was sooooo spacious! Stayed there for four nights over nye and had a great view of the fireworks!! My only complaint would be that there isn’t a Nespresso coffee machine in the room (which is a surprise given that most hotels now offer them) nor do they provide cotton wool (isn’t that also a basic provision?). Do note that the hotel doesn’t provide complimentary bottled water either, and only tap with filtered water… however I did appreciate them giving out mint water/ pandan bluepea water in the afternoon for guests (wished that it’s all day long!) at the lobby.

We had a pleasant three-day stay at this hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location, situated between two large malls with plenty of shops and restaurants and within a reasonable cab ride to both George Town and Batu Ferringhi. The room was quite spacious but a little bit dated and worn down. It could use a refresh. The bed was very comfortable, however, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. We enjoyed using the beautiful infinity pool. Service was friendly and efficient. One area that could use improvement is the breakfast. Although there is a good variety of items offered, many just weren't very tasty. The best thing on the buffet was the homemade ice cream. Overall, this is a good place to stay when exploring the island of Penang.

Fast check in. Deluxe room is spacious, clean and with comfortable bed. 5-min walk to gurney plaza on the left and gurney paragon on the right. Easy to move around by grab. Staff is friendly and helpful. Really like the welcome ice cream and happy with stay. Will return.

Ottimo hotel per vivere un'esperienza un po' diversa. Le camere non sono perfette, ma sono le imperfezioni a renderle interessanti. Sono comunque grandi, arredate con gusto e fornite di tutto quello che serve. Anche il bagno è grande e con un'ottime pressione dell'acqua. Wifi forte e stabile. Colazione semplice, ma completa, di ottima qualità e preparata al momento nell'attiguo bar. Piacevole l'afternoon tea offerto con biscotti e torte ogni pomeriggio. In definitiva il luogo ideale per passare alcuni giorni di relax, rallentando i ritmi in una residenza storica nel centro di Georgetown (ma assolutamente tranquilla di notte), godendo dell'atmosfera della città.

I paid 150 RMB for high tea today and although the product was creative and a bit fun I left hungry. My main issue however was the service. It appears there was no manager on duty because the staff were messing about on their mobile phones and I had to always ask them for things because they were focussed on chatting and their phones. It wasn’t 5 star at all and having managed hotels the service was actually appalling. I found a bit of plastic in one of the dishes and the staff member just took it from me and threw it in the bin. No acknowledgement. Then I was waiting in the lobby for my cab and I can hear front desk staff laughing and messing about. They were only interested in messing about. I feel cheated by todays experience and I hope they get manager back on duty soon because today it was not being managed at all

We had a pleasant experience and loved staying at the accommodation. It was well equipped with amenities (smart tv, air purifier) and well located with eateries and convenience store nearby .  The sea view from the apartment was amazing.  Additionally, the host (Yeoh) was extremely helpful in providing recommendations to go or eat within Penang and was prompt in answering queries related to the apartment.  In summary this is a hidden gem worth staying .

I had a fantastic experience at Penang Marriott Hotel. The staff were warm and professional, making check-in seamless. The room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning sea views, with a bed so comfortable it guaranteed restful nights. The team’s attention to detail and exceptional service truly elevated my stay. Highly recommended!
