Hotel con colazione a Porto

From the moment I landed, I knew this stay would be special. I was collected from the airport in a luxury Jaguar , (completely free) and transported again at departure, including complimentary trips to and from the city centre. Actual VIP treatment from start to finish .... something I have never experienced anywhere else. Because my flights didn’t match standard hotel times, the team kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost, which took away all travel stress and made my stay even more comfortable. That flexibility meant everything to me. Every single staff member was amazingly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Although I sadly didn’t manage to catch the names of the wonderful ladies at reception, they were absolutely incredible and deserve huge praise. Special mention to Tomas — such a professional, friendly, standout member of the team. I later found out his birthday was on Thursday 4th, and I wish I had the chance to say Happy Birthday before I left! The location is perfect — close to shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore Porto while still enjoying a calm, comfortable stay. The room was immaculate — spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully prepared. And the amenities were next-level: Mini-bar, tea and coffee station with kettle, plush slippers, bathrobe, bottled water......everything thoughtfully provided. I was welcomed with a welcome drink on arrival, and a fresh fruit tray waiting in my room. Nothing felt standard, everything felt intentional. What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail. There is a clear sense of care, love, and purpose in every interaction and every small touch. You’re not treated like just another guest , you are genuinely looked after. I honestly cannot fault a single thing about this stay. Hotel Jaguar Porto combines luxury service with real warmth and heart, a rare find. If you’re heading to Porto and looking for an experience that goes far beyond accommodation, this is THE hotel to book. 100% recommended. I will absolutely be back. ✨👏

L'hotel è in una posizione fantastica, a pochi passi da molte aree di interesse a Porto. L'hotel stesso è ben decorato. Le camere sono compatte, ma la decorazione aggiunge al sentimento di un hotel boutique. Una delle migliori docce che abbia mai avuto in un hotel, potente e facile a controllare la temperatura. Le toilette usate erano belle. I letti sono comodi e le foglie sono fresche e senza spot. La maggior parte del personale di ricezione sono efficienti e amichevoli. Le camere sono ben attrezzate con buoni vestiti/umbrello/buono asciugacapelli/caffè macchina e capsule ecc Ci sono alcune cose che l'hotel potrebbe facilmente migliorare : La colazione non è certamente una cosa che consiglio. Le scelte erano povere, non fresche o locali, e il costo è alto. Ci sono molte scelte molto migliori in prossimità. Le piastrelle erano una padella di schiuma di memoria dura o una piastrella molto lucida, sorprendente per il costo dell'alloggio. Quando arrivava, era molto difficile ottenere latte fresco per il tè e il caffè, chiesemo la ricezione e al bar non potevano farne uno, anche se scopriamo al colazione che avevano una macchina e latte fresco e portavano le tazze facilmente disponibili. Il bar ha bisogno di ripensare....è l'opposto di accogliere e il personale non ti fa desiderare di rimanere. Poiché non c'è un ”sala” all'hotel, forse questo sarebbe meglio utilizzato come un luogo di riunione all'interno dell'hotel.

I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was hands down the best decision of my entire trip to Porto. If any of my friends or family visit Porto, I would literally force them to book this place. If you are debating between this and a slightly cheaper, mediocre hotel, do yourself a favor and choose this residence. It offers absolute value for money. 1. Unbeatable Location The location is incredible—literally right next to São Bento Station. If you walk down the slope right across the street, you end up right under the Dom Luís I Bridge. If you walk up the slope to the left, you can reach Jardim do Morro in just about 8 minutes. Having the metro station right outside means you can easily get anywhere, whether it’s Rua de Santa Catarina or the Gaia district. It was so convenient that I could visit a tourist spot, come back to the room for a quick nap, and head out again for evening sightseeing. 2. Excellent Room Condition & Value The condition of the residence is top-notch. Instead of spending money on an awkwardly priced, lower-quality hotel, staying here gives you premium comfort for an amazing price. It is truly the perfect budget-friendly luxury. 3. Fantastic Amenities (Washing Machine & Cooktop) Whether Porto is your first stop or you are coming from Lisbon, you’ll eventually need to do laundry or crave some comfort food. The room comes equipped with a washing machine and an induction cooktop. It was amazing to be able to do my piled-up laundry and cook some ramen after buying groceries at the supermarket. This feature alone makes it a must-stay destination during your journey. [Conclusion] This place is flawless in terms of location, price, and convenience. Don't hesitate—just book it. You won't regret it!

La stanza è molto bella e pulita. Il personale è amichevole e utile. E 'facile camminare al centro della città. Il mio marito e io sono molto soddisfatti del Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel.

Last year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment. Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately. The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied. The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too. Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out. The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.

Abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno in questo hotel. La posizione era la cosa migliore. È a piedi dal centro, a piedi, alla maggior parte dei luoghi che volevamo visitare. La notte scorsa, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vedere illuminare il Natale e i fuochi d'artificio che erano situati fuori dall'hotel. Le camere erano pulite e spaziose, e il bagno era una buona opzione per una mattina. volevamo rilassarci. Tutti i membri del personale che abbiamo incontrato sono stati molto benvenuti!

Ho trascorso due notti in un dormitorio misto da 10 letti. La posizione è ottima, così come la colazione a buffet, con ampia scelta di cibo e bevande. Il posto è complessivamente pulito e confortevole. C'era un solo bagno (doccia e WC) disponibile in camera perché l'altro era rotto. Non è stato un problema, ma penso che non sia sufficiente per una stanza così grande (soprattutto considerando che doccia e WC sono nella stessa stanza e possono essere utilizzati da una persona alla volta). Bellissima vista dalla finestra. Manca l'asciugacapelli. Armadietti a pagamento per lasciare i bagagli prima del check-in o dopo il check-out (tariffa oraria).

Heel fijn hotel! Top locatie. Dicht bij veel leuke ontbijt tentjes en restaurantjes. Ook heel dichtbij bij veel bezienswaardigheden. Top!

The least you expect from a five star hotel was a good service and cleanlinless. We stayed here for 5 nights and they did not change our bedsheet even though it was written that they will change it every 3 days, no refill of water, no refill of tissues and coffee and tea we had to request it. There’s a small cockroach in the bathtub. At the front desk they don’t even greet you whenever you passby I am not being entitled that I should be greeted I just compare it to other hotel where they always smile. It’s hard to call the front desk sometimes it will take 5 minutes.  On the positive side the food in the restaurant was really good and the drinks at the bar those who are working there was really nice and attentive too. I’d like to commend also Fabrizio who always smile and who helps us with our luggage when we check in and check out.

L'hotel ha sia pro che contro. La posizione non è delle migliori per visitare la città, dista circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla metropolitana più vicina, poi poche fermate dalle principali attrazioni, il che può essere scomodo soprattutto in caso di pioggia. Il lato positivo è che si trova proprio accanto a un vivace mercato/area ristorazione con molti spuntini locali, e c'è persino un supermercato all'interno. Il personale è stato molto gentile, parlava un buon inglese e mi ha persino offerto un vassoio di benvenuto con frutta e crostatine all'uovo, un tocco di classe. La camera in sé era più bella delle foto: spaziosa, molto pulita, con cassaforte, armadio e bagno e WC separati. La colazione era abbondante e varia, anche se la selezione era sempre la stessa ogni giorno. Alcuni aspetti negativi: il personale delle pulizie è entrato nella mia camera due volte mentre ero dentro (una volta la mattina presto mentre dormivo, e un'altra volta mentre ero in bagno). Avranno anche bussato, ma mi sono comunque sentito invadente. Anche la disposizione delle finestre era scomoda: la mia camera si affacciava sulla hall, quindi ho dovuto tenere la tenda chiusa per tutto il soggiorno per privacy, il che ha reso la stanza buia. Nel complesso, è un hotel confortevole con un personale eccellente, ma la posizione non è ideale se si desidera essere vicini alle principali attrazioni. Se il prezzo è buono rispetto a quelli in centro, allora potrebbe essere una buona scelta, dato che i taxi per il centro costano circa 5 euro a tratta. Altrimenti, probabilmente la prossima volta sceglierei un hotel in zona più centrale.
