"La camera era molto spaziosa, con tavolo e sedie da pranzo, oltre a una cucina completamente attrezzata con elettrodomestici, incluso un forno. C'era anche un grande televisore e una zona doccia separata.
La receptionist, una gentile ragazza con gli occhiali, è stata estremamente disponibile in ogni aspetto: mi ha persino aiutato a organizzare l'intervento di un tecnico per rimuovere il lucchetto metallico attaccato alla mia valigia, cosa di cui le sono molto grata. Vorrei ringraziare anche il tecnico, così come un altro membro dello staff della reception che mi ha gentilmente permesso di effettuare il check-out posticipato. Il personale qui è incredibilmente gentile.
Sebbene la scelta per la colazione non fosse molto ampia, il cibo era di buona qualità e delizioso. Il personale nella sala colazioni era attento e si prendeva cura degli ospiti, rifornendo prontamente tutto ciò che finiva.
Il servizio di pulizia ha svolto un lavoro eccellente, mantenendo la camera pulita e ben organizzata. Nel complesso, sono rimasta molto colpita dal mio soggiorno. Ogni membro dello staff ha offerto un servizio eccezionale e una calorosa accoglienza."

MMar4MorAn amazing hotel! I was so impressed with the decor and the cleanliness and above all... the staff! They were pleasant, accomodating and even gave us an upgrade which was just incredible! I want to especially thank the following wonderful staff members who made our 1 night stay so special... they should be commended for their HIGH CUSTOMER ORIENTED persona! Very rare to find these days. The people I would like to thank are: Debouc, Fernando, Andre and Joao! Absolutely wonder human beings who treat customers with respect and dignity! I fould this hotel along with another one in Cascais to be TOP NOTCH when it came to hospitality! I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to everyone I know. I pray these folks are recognized for their outstanding customer relations and hospitality! Impeccable to say the least! They deserve a raise!

UUtente ospiteOur family reserved 3 rooms and arrived on a very early flight . Jose was kind enough to get 1 of our rooms ready within an hour so we could at least wash up, rest for a bit, and refresh before going out for the day. He continued to take care of us throughout our stay with anything we needed, while being extremely kind and personal. He is an excellent representative of the quality and care the hotel offers. We also liked the ambiance of the hotel. It was nicely lit and decorated in a fun, eclectic, and relaxing fashion. Our room rate included the breakfast which was an amazing spread with much variety, highly recommend. Location was central, easy walking distance everywhere. Small disappoin**ent was lack of gym. I know we walk around alot but it would’ve nice to have the option as my husband and son like to exercise quite a bit. In addition, the TV lounge room which can be nice for teenagers/kids to use while waiting for our rooms to be ready was rather plain in terms of interior design, just gray concrete walls, as opposed to the interesting and colorful designs of the rest of the hotel. This is just an observation, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.

La reception era sempre occupata, quindi devo aspettare per prendere l'ascensore con i numeri dispari (non potevo usare l'ascensore con i numeri dispari da solo perché la mia chiave era per i numeri pari)

UUtente ospiteLast year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment.
Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately.
The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied.
The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too.
Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out.
The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.

ZZaherWe had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay.
One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel.
The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal.
Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!

UUtente ospiteUn po' fuori dal centro, ma un hotel pulito con personale amichevole e utile. Ci siamo trasferiti una notte prima di essere stati prenotati per la prima notte di un viaggio di bicicletta organizzato. Il personale aveva trasferito i bagagli nella nuova stanza mentre uscivamo dalla vista.
La sala da pranzo è fantastica, solo attraverso una porta dall'hotel con una vasta scelta di cibo e birra!

UUtente ospiteWe booked a junior suite and asked to be put on a high floor. However, we got assigned the ground floor room facing the inner courtyard, making the room quite dark. And the lighting inside the room did not help either since most of the lights were directed light. We have asked for a change of room but was told its not available. The room is on the ground floor close to the lobby and the restaurant. When we asked to change the room, I have expressed my concern that it would be noisy and the front desk agent assured me that it would not be the case. Then on New Year's Eve, they have a party in the restaurant with very loud music. And the sound obviously leaked into our room, and the party lasted till the small hours.
The selection of food items at breakfast is quite limited. Its really quite mediocre compared with other hotels in this category. The only saving grace for this hotel is its location.
