UUtente ospiteThe staff is great from doorman, check-in to breakfast/restaurant. Very friendly and warm. They treat you with sincere respect. The rooms are very clean with amenities and towles never missing.
For breakfast, they offer a wide range of food and variety. I didn't get tired even after 4 breakfasts.
Location is awesome, too. Basically attached to the mall, every kind of food (Jollibee to yakiniku and high-end pancake place) is within 3-5 minute walking distance. Sugbo Mercado is 3 minutes away on foot. Simply the best in the area.

EExtraordinaire_spicymommaWe love Nustar so much! This is probably our 5th time here! Stayed here from Nov 5 to 7 as it’s Mine and my bros bday and it was after Typhoon Tino. As always they are very accomodating, friendly and helpful and gave me a piece of cake and fruit bowl but this time I ask for a happy birthday note on the monitor for background pic for me & entire family as celebration but they keep telling me they will send someone up but no one really came from the IT department . I did expect a happy birthday greeting on the monitor it would have been very special, but I understand as maybe they are so busy and under staff because of the typhoon and instead of 2 pm check and we were able to check in very late like 5:30 pm because they’re probably under staffs but all of these did not ruin our overall stay as new star staffs are all very welcoming. We had birthday dinner in the good luck hotpot which is just inside Nustar as well. Thank you Nustar for being very welcoming , friendly and hand on chest when Greeting guest is such a Nustar trademark  please trade me a guest feel welcome and at home

MMhimi SonI’m beyond amazed. The place are relaxing views, magnificent room views, comfortable dining and beautifully romantic area. The beach are clean and clear like crystal twinkling by the sun rays. Unfortunately, Got stung by a jellyfish and the staffs acted and ask about my wellbeing and so fast to close the beach and did the best thing action to avoid for other guests to get stung and do the protocol by putting red flag as warning sign and inform the other guest about the incident. They had immediately responded/managed to implement another activity to avoid boredom to pass time since the beach were unaccessible for the guests to enjoy which ai think are best for all ages can join and even small/children guest would enjoy. It’s a perfect weekend getaway.

Pros:
- It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel!
- Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people.
- Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless.
- I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help.
Cons:
- The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours.
- The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences.
- The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby.
- Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

UUtente ospiteSiamo rimasti a Shanghai-La Mactan Cebu per una settimana. Il resort è assolutamente magnifico con i dipendenti incredibili - tutti sono utili e cortesi. Il resort ha molte attività quotidiane, tra cui snorkeling, che erano grandi. Abbiamo provato la maggior parte dei ristoranti e sono stati grandi! Acqua che era italiano era deliziosa; Buko Bar era anche gioioso! Molto consigliato per un hotel rilassante con buone piscine e un ambiente tranquillo.

UUtente ospiteI enjoyed my stay in Crimson Resort, the room is big and spacious for families, the staff are friendly and well trained, the four pools are huge and fun and the daily breakfast is delicious. We especially enjoyed the foam party at adult pool and Crimzone pool, the playground in Crimsone, the seaweed collection activity, snorkeling and the complete amenities of the room. Cebu beach is so pretty. Big shout-out to Clint in breakfast for his very warm service to me and my daughter.
Cons:
- There was no housekeeping done on 2nd day of my stay which was not informed to me in advance, I think that was not professional.
- They don’t allow food delivery in but the food in the resort is not that delicious to be had everyday (I tried sisig, inasal and pizza).
- You need grab or taxi to go out to Cebu city (and face the jam) as the shuttle only runs 3x a day, so it’s not convenient if you want to explore Cebu.

Ppokomi36親子留学の際に、大人2名６歳1名でキッチン付きの部屋に6泊しました。
地下には大きなスーパー、一階にはコンビニや夜までやってるレストランが何個もありました。
部屋もとても綺麗で、虫は一度も出ませんでした。
必要なキッチン用具は全て揃っており、清掃の際に食器も洗ってくれていました。
一ガロンのウォーターボトルが置いてあり、大変助かりました。
ただベットがダブルベットだったので狭く、エキストラベットを置くスペースが無いため、少し窮屈でした。
ですがベビーベッドは貸してもらえますし、ソファもあるのでなんとかなります。
あと洗濯機があって便利なのですが、乾燥が弱いのでハンガーで干す必要があります。
乾燥だけの機能はないです。
なので長期滞在の場合は、干す用のハンガーがあると便利です。
キッチン付きのメゾネットタイプの別の部屋にお邪魔する機会があったのですが、そこはベッドも広く、バスタブもあったのでオススメです。
朝食はとても美味しく種類もあり、沢山のパンにフィリピン料理、洋食にお粥など飽きずに楽しめました。
プールも雰囲気がよく、プールサイドにあるジムは本当に小さいですが、そのままプールに行き来出来るのが良かったです。
アルコールを頼むこともできます。
ただ9階なので風が少しあり、夕方は入るのは寒かったです。
ここのスタッフは皆さん親切で、とても良い体験ができました。

UUtente anonimoThis was my second time staying at Solea Hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of food choices, and the room rates are affordable, which makes the hotel a good value for money.
However, I was slightly disappointed with the check-in process this time. We booked three rooms, but upon arrival, only one room was available. We were allowed to check in to the first room and were asked to wait there while the other two rooms were being prepared.
Although the official check-in time is 3:00 PM, we only received the keys for the remaining two rooms at around 5:40 PM. The staff kept telling us that the room keys would be “to be followed,” but despite several follow-ups, the waiting time took around 2–3 hours, which was quite long. Since the rooms were booked online in advance, we were expecting them to be ready on time.
That said, this was the only time I experienced this issue. During my first stay, everything went smoothly and I had no complaints. I still appreciate the hotel’s amenities and affordability, and I hope the check-in process can be improved in the future.

JJann BungcarasI love the modern interiors! The wall is amazing! The room may be small but very functional. The staff are friendly as well. Just fix the elevator Down button of the 5th floor and we are all good! I love it here. And also fix the cable so we have something to view at night.
