LLukaszCharming historic stay at Hundith Hill Hotel in Whitehaven - recently converted, still showing signs of being under redevelopment but full of character. Room clean with high-quality bedding (though bed too soft); bathroom functional but some elements a bit worn. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Recommended!

UUtente ospiteRum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself.
We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too.
We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful.
After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks.
We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

La neve era pesante, quindi le cose si sono alzate un po' in aria, con se ci fossero chiusi o meno, ma il personale era brillante. È uno dei migliori spa che abbia mai fatto. Le viste sono sorprendenti. L'hotel stesso è davvero bello, fantastico ubicazione, estremamente pulito e tutti i membri del personale erano super amici. Sarà certamente venuto a rimanere di nuovo e non può raccomandare abbastanza per una pausa rilassante.

Rrockylee1. La posizione dell'hotel è buona. La strada per il porto della barca è anche in dieci minuti. Il ristorante vicino è molto numeroso e la cena è molto conveniente. La stanza è grande, c'è anche una sala da soggiorno, inaspettatamente, ma la sala è vicino al letto, vicino alla strada, alcune stronzate di mattina e sera, soprattutto la velocità della macchina inglese è generalmente più veloce, da prestare un'attenzione leggera. Il colazione è il latte di grano di yogurt preparato in anticipo, alcuni nel frigorifero, alcuni nel serbatoio, non aspettare troppo.
2.Se viene da solo, vuoi una carta di parcheggio con la reception, tre sterline al giorno, un parcheggio illimitato, ci sono diversi posti che possono essere parcheggiati, in realtà è molto conveniente.Quando si parte, è possibile guidare prima al parcheggio, e quando si torna, si può mettere la scatola e la carta di parcheggio sulla reception.

YYuganglvguanchangzhu必須要給這家酒店一個大大的贊！預訂之前看了很多平台的評價發現評分都在8.3左右還是比較擔心的，但是自己可能比較幸運吧，入住後完全沒有遇到類似的情況。可以給到9.5分！
我自己預訂酒店的理念窗景一定要美，但由於預算和日期原因，衹定到舒適雙人間，沒想到酒店給到了最高層的風景超美的房間！實際入住以後窗外風景真的超預期～非常感謝！房間挑高也非常高，水晶燈華麗麗，衞生間也很大，房內設施也維護得非常好，check in是必須在三點後哈，早到的話staff會幫你把行李送到房間（目前電梯壞了在維修）遇到的所有工作人員都很熱情有禮貌，大廳有一衹叫prownie（不確定寫法請諒解）很可愛。早餐廳的風景也很好，但可能我去的比較晚，所以是自助式而非單點式的早餐，相比於我在另一家酒店點餐制的形式來説有改善的空間。
總之，我覺得這家酒店比起現有評分來説，值得一個更高的評價，特別如果你是對湖景以及地理位置非常看重的話，畢竟花園大草坪和步行到碼頭這點已經完勝！酒店也盡力在維護並修繕設施，遇到很多多年入住的常客，希望自己也能和他們一樣每年定期回來看看，感謝Belsfield給了我很美好的體驗😊

We arrived in the middle of a power outage, to be met by polite friendly and professional staff, we were made aware of the situation and offered a seat by the fire with complimentary nibbles, we were kept up to date with the situation throughout until power was restored. Considering the disruption, the staff remained calm and all food was delivered promptly and was delicious. The rooms were very tastefully done, well equipped and spotless, beds were extremely comfy and the rooms were toasty warm on a night that got below freezing. Breakfast was really good and we were well looked after by all of the staff. We have to say it is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and would 100% recommend The Melbreak to anyone. Well done everyone concerned

Il server del colazione è stato sconvolto e visivamente annoiato e annoiato quando ho osato chiedere un secondo caffè! Suggerisco che investano in una macchina del caffè invece di servire una tazza di caffè. La camera di famiglia era di grande dimensione, ma aveva un tetto piuttosto basso, che era stato indicato da 15 segni, che facevano sembrare la stanza più come un edificio che un dormitorio. La posizione è a circa 6 miglia da Keswick. Bella piscina ma l'accesso attraverso la porta alle camere di cambio non funziona tutto il tempo.

UUtente anonimoGreat hotel with a decent location in the middle of the Lake District. You can walk/ cycle to Ambleside which is 5 miles away. Low fells are easy to hike for great views of the area around.
The hotel is more like a private house with rooms. We got a small suite with bedroom, bathroom and living room. We could just about see the lake from the living room.
The bathroom only has a bath and no shower head which was a difficulty for washing hair. Except for that it was very well organised.
Breakfast was at a nearby pub - The Good Sport. It was a limited selection on the menu: full English, breakfast rolls, toast or porridge. You also got a 10% for dinner in the pub too.

I was most dissatisfied with a male waiter, his attitude was particularly bad, I suspect he was a racist, his attitude was really bad, I have stayed in so many places in the world in hotels and B&Bs, this male waiter's attitude was the worst, I entered the staff area is my fault, but I entered from the restaurant, there is no staff only to enter the prompts, the male waiter kicked me out like a dog, I felt I was insulted.The waiter shooed me out like a dog, I felt insulted, it seems that the quality of the British people really needs to be improved.
