A good place to be with a beautiful view.... ”The View” as its name . Closer to a shopping complex , gas station, 5min drive to the beach, closer to the beach there also restaurantswhere you can dine whole having the beach view, Toti Beach. its also closer to galleria Mall. The place is too steep so be ready for that... Their food is delicious, we had dinner there at their restaurant called Giorgios but its expensive I must say. Not sure about their breakfast and lunch though. Staff and reception is just ok. I had requested them to add a crib bed for a child and upon arrival they told us that the storeroom is closed because we arrived at 6pm so it's too late. We then asked them to give us atleast a bedsheets or any linen so we can make a plan for our son, they said ok but never pitched , nothin, not even getting back to us to say what could be the matter. We asked again the following day, they took four hours to bring a bedsheets. Bottom line is if you have a child do not, I repeat DO NOT book that place because they will lie straight to your face saying they could not reach you since you booked via an APP. I'm not sure whetherI want to talk about their kitchen in the rooms. You will have to call them now and again to bring things and they take 3 to 4hours just for a simple thing like a spoon. One thing I can say is they don't listen and listening means you respect your business and your clients I flew from overseas to rest and have a good time and have treat ourselves since they have a spar but I ended up canceling my plans for a spa because I didn't want additional dissapointments. The rest I don't even want to mention...and that is my experience after paying so much Money and looking forward to a good vacation 😌 BUT...

We had been looking forward to visiting newly reopened Hilton Durban, for some time and finally did so two weeks ago. Although only 100 of the 324 rooms are currently in use, as part of a phased reopening of the entire hotel, the warm welcoming atmosphere and personalised service exceeded our expectations! The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Durban, bordering on the Durban International Convention Centre, incredibly well positioned opposite the Durban Exhibition Centre and not too far from the Durban Beach Front. The rooms are beautifully designed with modern amenities, including comfortable beds, an HDTV, and complimentary WiFi1. Their executive suites are top notch and we also received complimentary access to the Business Lounge, with complimentary drinks and snacks, and top class service from Siphiwe. The staff at the Hilton Durban were exceptionally receptive and attentive. Mluleki was kind and happy to go over and beyond to guarantee us a memorable stay. But then again, the Hilton is well regarded for its outstanding service. The hotel's amenities, such as the outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre proved to be a great attraction for young and old, especially the pool and outdoor chilling area which is a popular spot for unwinding after a busy day of exploring the city.

L'hotel è bellissimo e la sua posizione è molto conveniente perché è a piedi distanza dalla spiaggia, ristoranti e intrattenimento. Mi è piaciuto la maggior parte del buffet per colazione. Ho continuato a tornare per me. Grande servizio.

We stayed here for one night only as part of our South African trip so didn’t get to experience all that the hotel has to offer. It is very stylish and our room was spotless, with a small balcony overlooking the lighthouse and the whalebone pier. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our evening meal too. Service was good. Sadly we didn’t get to eat our breakfast outside overlooking the sea due to the pesky monkeys. Our only issue was our bathroom. We stayed in Room 406. The bath was a strange shape and was very narrow to sit in and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Thankfully we were able to mop this up with the lovely thick bath towels. Also, this bathroom honestly had the worst grouting and siliconing we have ever seen!

The Oyster Box never disappoints, we are repeat visitors to the property and the property quality and service is always outstanding. The rooms we stayed in has had a fresh paint, new wall artwork and the towels were fluffy and fresh. I always travel with my own pillow, the housekeeping washed the cover, pressed it and returned it to me at no additional cost. The pool service and the staff around the pool is attentive, professional and quick with the orders. Two lovely gentlemen went out of their way to make our experience around the pool extra memorable, Sibonelo and Simphiwe. Our only disappointment was no bubbly in the room on arrival any longer, all our years visiting a special touch was a cold bottle of bubbles in the room on arrival. Thanks Oyster Box, keep it up, always such a treat to visit this premium property.

Questo B&B sport è di 12 buone dimensioni per le grandi camere, in Umhlanga Rocks, a circa 40 metri dalla spiaggia (il nostro bagno, nel #3, era umongo, e bellissimo). Le aree hanno una bella piscina, e molte nuoci accoglienti per la lettura. Non molti giochi in casa, quindi portate il vostro divertimento. Gli spettacoli sono grandi. Cowrie Cove è a più di un chilometro da Umhlanga, e quindi più di un chilometro da qualsiasi centro commerciale o da pranzo. Le viaggi Uber sono solo circa 100 Rand giro di viaggio, più di 400 R per un giro di viaggio per Durban. La zona è stata colpita duramente dalle piogge, e la spiaggia ha un sacco di spazzatura su di essa. La spiaggia è piuttosto stretta e rigida, anche, e è difficile camminare a lunghe distanze su di essa3ma questo non è il problema di questi stabilimenti.

This boutique hotel is remarkable but so is the unparalleled service and exceptional hospitality. When you have this winning combination, it lends itself to quality and care that the staff have for their customers. It all started when I unsuccessfully tried to book a weekend stay for my parents from Australia, and none of the other five star hotels bothered to respond to me. A friend of mine suggested I might look towards boutique or private stays, and so a quick google revealed this absolute gem. I left a Facebook message which was promptly responded to by Catherine who reached out immediately to the hotel to help arrange my parents stay on my behalf. She was my point of contact and I do not have words for how professional and warm she was. After being away from South Africa for nearly a decade, she represented the very best of South African culture and hospitality. Nothing was too hard for her to help me with, when I couldn't reach them she assisted, she thought about ideas and made suggestions to make my parents stay incredible. From there on the front desk was amazing, suggesting food and menu options (for my fussy parents), offering ideas about what could make their stay special and genuinely within a day, everything was organised and sorted. They even mocked up a voucher for me! When I called my parents on their last day, they simply didn't want to leave. They commented not only on the personalised experience and service, but genuinely expressed their sadness at having to leave. They wished their stay would have been endless. The facilities were par excellence, every single meal was delivered and plated to an exceptional quality, the spa treatment was relaxing and the property is aptly named as it does offer endless views. Every single evening the property made my parents time special - it was to celebrate my mums birthday and her retirement from teaching at a public school. They went out of their way with generosity, kindness and personalisation. My mum loved that they found time to sing her a happy birthday song! I have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone looking for world class service combined with an exceptional property. I am incredibly well travelled and from what I have experienced and from my parents utter joy, this property ranks up with the very best of properties. Well done to the entire team and when I visit South Africa, you can be guaranteed a visit from me.
