It’s hard to know where is a good place to stay in Riyadh. But thanks to their excellent metro system and cheap taxis you can actually stay in most areas and be connected as it is a HUGE city well spread out. This hotel was great. Very modern and a stupendous breakfast full of Saudi and world cuisines. Staff frindly and check in 24 hours which is handy when your flight arrives at 3am! Thanks for the lovely stay.

Rooms are very large and clean and truthfully nicely decorated! I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the furniture and the premises. Yes the hotel building looks small and the reception area is small but, everything is of premium quality with modern design. It is also designed very practically, with the restaurant on one side of the reception and Costa serving cafe on the other side. Room design/cleanliness and breakfast premises and variety are the two top important things for my travels. Cantonal gets 10/10 for both, in its class. Staff politeness and responsiveness are the second important criteria and Cantonal gets 10/10 for that, too. I don't recommend hotels easily but I can recommend Cantonal with confidence.

Ho fatto un errore e ho prenotato una camera deluxe per 142 yuan quando c'era un bug nel sistema. Normalmente dovrebbe costare circa 1.000 yuan. Come previsto, il duro lavoro non è paragonabile alla fortuna. L'ambiente dell'hotel è al di sopra della media a Riyadh. La stanza è abbastanza grande ed è molto comodo sedersi e bere il tè sul tetto. La prossima volta che verrò, spero che tu possa concedermi altri cento giorni.

Il lobby dell'hotel è enorme e la stanza è molto pulita. Ma la strada davanti tende a diventare occupata prima che il sole sorga, quindi sono rumorosi. Il personale è molto utile.

Overall it was wonderful meeting people like Moataz Mersal - he was always very quick in welcoming my wife n I to the Nakheel restaurant. Great food great service - thumbs up! Then there was Raghad (guest services) who gave timely and sound advice to my wife regarding safety n metro directions to National Museum etc. Need to mention Montaser n Ahmed as well! Such attentive staff at the bar & gym! 👍
On the other hand, the housekeeping team needs re-training. Everyday (for four days three nights) they forgot to replenish items in the room! We had to keep calling them! 👎

Overall, the hotel was okay. The location is convenient, very close to the metro, which made getting around easy.
On the downside, the room was missing some basic amenities: there were no bathrobes at all, towels were provided only for one person, and the dental kit was also for one person, even though the room was booked for two guests. In addition, the reception staff could have been more welcoming.
On the positive side, the breakfast was quite good, and the chef preparing omelets and waffles was very kind and friendly, which made the morning experience more pleasant

My stay at JW Marriott Riyadh started off very poorly. I arrived at 3 a.m., and check-in was disappointing — no welcome drink, no upgrade, and none of my pre-arrival requests were met. My room was small, not on a high floor, and the “genius suite” was misleading: the bathtub’s view is blocked by fixed blinds. On top of that, someone was smoking on a non-smoking floor, which made me feel unwell, and reception offered no real solution.
Concierge service was equally frustrating. I had arranged a driver for a trip to the Edge of the World, but I received conflicting information and was quoted a price three times the market rate. When I raised the issue with the concierge, he promised to resolve it and never got back to me. Complaints at reception and with concierge went completely unaddressed, forcing me to escalate directly to the duty manager.
Thankfully, the duty manager intervened and salvaged my stay — upgrading me to a penthouse suite for a few hours and offering a complimentary dinner. While his support was excellent, it shouldn’t have taken escalating multiple complaints to get any resolution.
Overall, the hotel itself is luxurious, but inconsistent service at reception and concierge, misleading room descriptions, and poor handling of complaints make this a risky experience.

NNand NOttimo personale, molto amichevole, cortese e accogliente.Siamo arrivati ben prima dell’iscrizione, e la squadra ha organizzato una camera precoce, che è stato molto apprezzato.
Non posso ringraziare il personale del check-in, il ristorante e il servizio in camera per l'ospitalità, la gentilezza e il rispetto.
La stanza era grande, pulita e ben mantenuta, con un comodo letto re, un sacco di uscite di energia, un aria condizionata tranquilla ed efficiente, e buone strutture.
Il buffet è stato molto buono, con varietà giornaliera, succhi freschi, una stazione omeletta cucinata per ordinare, una buona selezione di pane e un caffè decente.
Situazione a 15-20 minuti da tutte le attrazioni e centri. Ubers e Bolt erano pronti a disposizione. Il ponte Sky era camminabile durante il freddo, ma sarebbe una sfida durante la stagione calda.
Punto di sdoppio:
• La camera premium si aspettava di essere in un piano superiore, ma la stanza si trovava di fronte alla linea di tetto senza vista.
• La testa del doccia non si fermerebbe e si tenne in posizione.
In generale, un piacevole soggiorno con un servizio eccellente, con solo questioni di piccolo livello.
