Excellent quiet location with a private waterfront. The outdoor infinity swimming pool is partially shaded and overlooks the strait of Malacca. The hotel has a classy heritage vibe with distinguished visitors such as Charle Chaplain and King Charles. The breakfast buffet is the best in town with made to order noodle soup and stir fried noodles. There is also a hot food station, omelette station, roti station, fresh fruits and bread

Almost perfect holiday at the Parkroyal Penang.. ++ plus points: 1. room was spacious with fun pool amenities 2. beach view is beautiful during sunset 3. had interesting monkey visitors at our huge balcony 4. appreciative of the pleasant service in general from day houskeeping to F&B crew Unfortunately with some glaring misses 😣 - - minus points: 1. checked in room at the evening, noted floor and day bed had lotsa sand particles. Night housekeeping came to rectify so late while we are eating in room meals and told us to then wait for next day housekeeping because it is near their knock off time😧😅 2. Reception made a mistake to actually charge my credit card for $400 deposit, instead of holding the deposit 😏. Was informed during checkout to wait for 2 weeks refund. 😩 3. breakfast selection could have been better in view that it is a 5🌟hotel. New food at buffet line could have been replaced earlier, when finished.

My stay at The Light Hotel was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, complete with a comfortable bed. The breakfast served at the restaurant was delectable, and the ambiance was enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay truly memorable. The hotel’s location was also convenient for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Lovely stay but need improvement ❤️❤️❤️. Toiletries got no shaver quite suprise, on check in day no shower gel prepared need to call front desk to refill, no complimentary drinks in the fridge at all (complimentary as the front desk said) need to tell the staff to put the drinks, the room I stayed in might have leaking problems the toilet always got water on the floor need to call turndowns service every time after shower. I saw in someone's review they got bath salt but I did not received any, and I even requested 3 times, they promised to put but nothing till the day we check out.. Food was nice, staff were polite maybe just peak time for their hotel understandable..

Hotel management please fix bellboy’s trolley! (It’s noisy and screaming) People can’t sleep at night! Please put fresh air system in the room! Air conditioning is blowing directly to bed! (If you take showers and sleep under ac with wet hair you will be sick 100%)

The room that I stayed in at was absolutely breathtaking. It was spacious, elegantly decorated, and had a stunning view of the sea .The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious with a large bathtub and a rain shower. I felt like a pampered guest throughout my stay, thanks to the thoughtful amenities provided in the room.

Loved my stay! We were soooo happy to be upgraded to a room with a view that was sooooo spacious! Stayed there for four nights over nye and had a great view of the fireworks!! My only complaint would be that there isn’t a Nespresso coffee machine in the room (which is a surprise given that most hotels now offer them) nor do they provide cotton wool (isn’t that also a basic provision?). Do note that the hotel doesn’t provide complimentary bottled water either, and only tap with filtered water… however I did appreciate them giving out mint water/ pandan bluepea water in the afternoon for guests (wished that it’s all day long!) at the lobby.

Love the vibes of hotel. Suit for people who love calmness and quiet place. However my BAD experience that spoil the whole mood is when im been charge for late checkout without information of late check out ”rate”. Usually im staying at all hotel 5 stars at feringghi ( I already tried all 5 stars hotel at feringghi) even other than feringghi 5 stars hotel wont charge you 1hour for RM54 like lone pine. I BEEN CHARGE FOR RM 108 for 2 hours late checkout 12-2pm for marriot hotel. This is unacceptable. I want highlight for service 4stars hotel like you doesnt allowed for late checkout at all must sharp at 12pm must prior inform to guest. I late checkout until 2pm because I do solat first at room. Usually receptionist will call at 12.30-1pm to inform about can or not late checkout and have rate. BUT FOR LONE PINE. DONT call and DONT give any information about late checkout. So I thought Its okay like others 4-5stars hotel and for hotel under ”MARRIOT”. I regret because not receive information about late checkout rate. My advise is for people who usually familiar with 4-5stars sevice. This hotel doesn't provide those.reconsider for this hotel that dont allowed you checkout late than 12pm. Must sharp before 12pm. OTHERWISE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR RM54/HOUR.

George Hotel is very good and exellcent hotel with welcome drinks. Family room with balcony and free of charge snacks and drinks. Good location for shopping and near restaurant. clean swimming pool and yummy breakfast buffet. very happy living with George hotel.

Shangri-La ha ancora il suo stile resort unico. L'hotel è molto buono e la posizione è ottima. La spiaggia, la piscina e l'ambiente esterno sono fantastici. C'è anche un bar vicino alla spiaggia dove è possibile ordinare cibo e bevande. La stanza era molto confortevole. Mi hai dato tre grandi bottiglie d'acqua. Sei il più generoso. Ci tieni davvero a me! Gli spuntini di benvenuto sono realizzati sotto forma di Tudung Saji, che è molto in stile Penang e riflette la diffusione della cultura. Semplicemente non mi piacevano gli snack che contenevano: sembravano scaglie di cocco e caramelle, quindi non ho mangiato molto. Il drink di benvenuto offerto alla reception al momento del check-in è davvero speciale, al sapore tropicale di vaniglia. La colazione a buffet era buona, con molte varietà e di buona qualità, tra cui i noodles al curry, davvero deliziosi! Un po' indimenticabile.
