Hotel a {{star}} a Penang, ({{countryName}})

We went on a 3 days 2 nights business trip with family in Penang. This hotel is located at Gurney bay which is such a very good location. We personally familiar with the surrounding there so it is easy to find food and travel. The parking building can be accessed both from Gurney bay and Kelawai road which is very convenient. Free parking is available in the building. The parking space in front of the hotel charges 10 RM per entry. We got a connecting room which is so comfortable for us. The hotel staff were very nice also. Pros: The room is fully equipped with universal power outlets. Cons: The shower is located in bathtub. It is quite slippery and inconvenient. Overall, We had a very pleasant stay.

L'ambiente dell'hotel è ottimo, anche la colazione è molto ricca, il mare è proprio fuori dall'hotel, bellissimo, abbiamo trascorso due giorni meravigliosi qui. Vale la pena sottolineare che la nostra camera è al secondo piano, molto vicina all'albero, e ci sono molti 🐒 che vengono a trovarci la mattina, sono molto carini!

Pro:Le strutture in camera sono buone.La pressione dell'acqua in bagno è alta e è buona.Mio figlio gode molto di bagno in bagno. Grazie per l'organizzazione dell'hotel per un biscotto di compleanno, come ho sottolineato che l'obiettivo del soggiorno in hotel era quello di celebrare il compleanno di mio figlio e mio marito C'è una stalla cinese di mangimi marini chiamata Haoyou che il prezzo è ragionevole e il gusto del cibo.La stalla si sta spostando dall'hotel. Cons:Lunga fila per aspettare l'ascensore durante il check-out.Era stata aspettata per 20 minuti.La zona di aspettare non ha aria condizionata e molto calda che rende la situazione di aspettare peggiore.

The hotel's room is very clean and comfortable, only the TV can't see movies. The hotel' buffet dinner is superb and delicious, I love it. I will come back to this hotel again when I travel to Penang.

A bit of a let down for a 5 ⭐ facilities. Breakfast : 3/5 Bed : 1/5 (Very hard, had to ask the housekeeping to add on a topper) Facilities : 3/5 (a bit disappointed on the creaking sound of the door) Parking : 2/5 (basement parking is not stroller friendly) Kids room : 0/5 (there’s a smoking odour in the room maybe from the ventilation) Front desk : 1/5 (lack of professionalism, complain from 7am, attended at 8pm,the staff that help me checked in couldn’t speak in English properly and not even in Malay, very let down for a 5 ⭐) I will rate it as good value for money if it wasn’t a 5 star hotel for the overall amenities which are much more available than a normal boutique hotel. But overall not worth the price paid. Background, I am a heavy traveler and had more than 20 trips per year on hotel alone so I believe my opinion is justified knowing the differences. We even extend the trip by booking at their partner hotel (boutique) and had better experience in fact. Hope they can look into this😌 but I thanked the housekeeping and maintenance for attending to our needs 🩷

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we truly appreciate their prompt response to our requests. It’s a pity we were on a tight schedule — a stay of at least 3D2N would have been perfect.

Questo è il mio posto preferito per soggiornare in Butterworth o Penang Island: The Light Hotel Penang. L'hotel offre un ampio parcheggio, che ci ha reso molto conveniente venire e andare come ci piaceva. Il processo di controllo è stato flessibile ed efficiente, permettendoci di risolvere rapidamente senza alcun problema. Questa volta, la nostra stanza era al quattordicesimo piano, a nord, e mi piaceva davvero la stanza spaziosa, con letti matrimoniali e un tavolo da lavoro. La colazione è stata diffusa con una varietà di opzioni deliziose per iniziare il giorno libero. In generale, consiglio altamente l'Hotel Light per chiunque visiti Penang. Combina comfort, comodità e grande servizio per garantire un piacevole soggiorno.

Vi dico di questo hotel che ho appena soggiornato a! Arriviamo a mezzanotte, e anche se siamo stati a mezzanotte, il personale amichevole e professionale al check-in era come una tazza calda di cacao in un giorno invernale completamente confortevole! Hanno offerto un aiuto reale, e fidati di me, eravamo piuttosto insensati su tutto quando ci siamo arrivati. Ora, la piscina? Wowza! E' un'icona assoluta! E l'edificio stesso mantiene quel fascino coloniale, perfettamente posizionato in una zona di eredità. Se sei stanco degli stessi vecchi edifici e disegni fissi, questo hotel è come un bicchiere di limonata rinfrescante dopo un lungo viaggio, proprio quello che hai bisogno! Mi sono fermato in una stanza in un angolo fantastico, con un po'di attenzione perfetta per rilassarmi e, credimi o no, per il mio atto di imballaggio e di sballaggio del circo. Sai come va, mettendo tutto nella borsa e poi sforzandosi di coax tutto come se fosse un gioco di Tetris! 😂 Ora, qui c'è un gemma nascosto: il ristorante sul pavimento. Abbiamo finito di mangiare lì perché, siate onesti, chi vuole camminare nel calore, giusto? Ma lasciate che vi dica, era come trovare oro alla fine di un arcobaleno! I piatti erano super impressionanti, ha alzato le mie aspettative! Per riassumerlo, se vuoi un'esperienza incantevole con un toccante di storia, una grande piscina e deliziosa cibo, questo è il posto. Non posso raccomandarlo abbastanza. Andate avanti e prenotatelo non la rimpiangerete! ❤️

Thank you to Trip.com we had a basically free and very enjoyable staycation in this resort. We won the Watson and Trip.com contest and received the RM800 voucher and we chose to spend it in this resort. It was the best decision ever coz we received a room upgrade upon registration and the room was huge with kitchen, dining area, living room area and overlooking the water park! The breakfast was awesome and the kids can go swimming while parents can have breakfast till 11am. The staff were very polite and friendly and the facility was clean and sparkling. My kids had a blast and already planning to go here again next school holiday. So a big big thanks to Trip.com for the exceptional Malaysia Day staycation!
