Ok, location is good, because all the luxury brands are directly downstairs, but hey if you're not there to splurge, no point~ because getting to other popular shopping malls or tourist attraction, there's just no advantage. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE. Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome.

Durante le vacanze della Giornata Nazionale, il personale dello Shenyang Shangri-La era molto entusiasta e il servizio, Yan Yan, era molto premuroso. Il giovane addetto alla portineria ha preso l'iniziativa per aiutare con i bagagli. La palestra e la piscina erano molto buone , l'acqua era pulita, le attrezzature e le strutture erano ben mantenute e di fronte c'era un centro commerciale. Era molto comodo e una buona esperienza di check-in! ! ! ! Giusto in tempo per il mio compleanno, ho anche preparato una sorpresa di compleanno speciale, che è molto buona, è un hotel a cinque stelle Shenyang Shangri-La, l'ho scelto bene.

I enjoyed my stay here and the staffs were very kind and helpful. Especially I would like to thank Eric for his kind help and whenever and wherever possible that he offered us. Point to be noted is that me and mate didn’t have any knowledge about the local language yet we didn’t feel it anywhere hindering us from expressing our thoughts to him. Hotel fantastico con centro commerciale e un supermercato meraviglioso in basso. Il servizio è eccellente (la prima struttura e il personale in alto sono molto utile, gentile e veloce) pulito, con bar freddo, design eccellente e viste, ci sono anche alcuni ristoranti incredibili.

📍 Location, location, location This hotel is in a prime spot, about 3 miles from some of Dalian’s top attractions like Xinghai Square, Venice Water City, and Dalian Castle 🏰. Super convenient whether you’re sightseeing or just exploring the city. 😴 Best sleep I’ve had in ages Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I slept so well. I got almost 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep, the room was quiet, perfectly cool, and the blackout curtains made the room completely dark, which I loved. Also, they offer an a la carte menu and even late-night service, which is super handy if you’re up late or get in hungry. 🧖♂️ Highly recommend the sauna + massage combo One of the highlights of my stay: hit the sauna for about 20 minutes, then followed it up with a relaxing massage right there in the hotel. Total game changer 💯 I left feeling completely recharged. 🏊♂️ as for the pool, I tried to go around three times… but it seems that the hotel rent it to swimming classes for kids?? So it was always full of kids which it’s fine but consider it if as myself this amenity was crucial for me to book the hotel 🍳 Breakfast could be better This is where things fell a bit short. The breakfast area is… kind of random? It’s in a hallway on the second floor, and the setup felt temporary. Not much variety, and there are no small tables, just big shared ones for about 10 people. A little awkward if you’re alone or just want a quiet breakfast. (I’ll include a pic) 📦 Heads-up on delivery If you order food delivery, you’ll need to go downstairs to pick it up yourself — they don’t bring it up to your room. ✅ Final thoughts Aside from those couple of things and the pool, my experience was honestly fantastic. Great location, super restful sleep. Would stay here again if I’m back in Dalian! 👍

L'hotel è in un'ottima posizione, con una splendida vista dalla finestra, e la vista sul fiume mi fa sentire a mio agio. Anche il parcheggio è ampio e ci sono colonnine di ricarica. È molto comodo ricaricare il tram e il prezzo è ragionevole. Le guardie di sicurezza ci hanno accompagnato per tutto il percorso. Il personale alla reception dell'hotel è cordiale e disponibile. Al momento del check-in, ci hanno costantemente aggiornato sulla tipologia di camera e comunicato il luogo e l'orario della colazione e del centro fitness. Vedendo che ero io a occuparmi dei bambini, hanno subito fatto in modo che la camera degli ospiti mi riportasse indietro articoli da toeletta e pantofole. Mi hanno anche offerto un servizio taxi e si sono presi la briga di spedire i miei bagagli in camera. Il check-in coincideva con il Dragon Boat Festival e l'hotel ha preparato con cura anche delle corde colorate. I miei due figli sono stati molto contenti. Grazie per il servizio meticoloso dell'hotel. I bambini hanno dato il nome al locale e sono tornati in questo hotel. La piscina è molto limpida e inodore, con una profondità adeguata. I bambini possono giocare qui in tutta tranquillità e anche gli adulti ne sono molto soddisfatti. Anche gli asciugamani forniti dal centro fitness sono puliti e comodi. Danno davvero un senso di sicurezza in ogni angolo del grande hotel. La colazione era a buffet con un'ampia scelta. Ai bambini è piaciuta molto. Il sapore era leggero, il cibo nutriente e fresco. I bambini hanno mangiato più del solito. Ho anche assaggiato le specialità locali. Anche i noodles wonton appena sfornati erano molto buoni. È stata un'esperienza davvero piacevole e indimenticabile. Consiglio a tutti di provarla.

Lovely experience. The staff were helpful, I arrived early and they managed to give me a room. The breakfast spread is amazing! It’s right in front of the subway station and I could walk to the theatre opposite, which worked out really well as I was there to attend a concert. There was even a little rooftop garden at the restaurant level. Didn’t have time to use the amazing fitness facilities. Would love to stay again.

I’ve stayed at this Hyatt location 3 times this past year. It is definitely my favorite staycation city getaway ! The location, large rooms with spectacular sea views, tubs and waterfall showers. friendly staff, and all the best amenities: poll, hot tub, spa, restaurants on site, and an overall relaxing vibe. I’m already looking forward to my next future stay.

Si tratta di un raro hotel-castello in puro stile europeo, con un'ottima posizione, a due passi da Piazza Xinghai. È molto comodo per mangiare e viaggiare e ci sono auto speciali che vengono a prendervi su e giù per la montagna. La stanza è molto grande. La camera con vista mare si affaccia sul ponte che attraversa il mare e la vista è davvero impressionante. Le strutture interne sono un po' vecchie, ma nel complesso accettabili. Il servizio è caloroso e premuroso. La hall è magnifica e suggestiva. Nel pomeriggio sono previsti anche spettacoli interattivi per bambini. Ci sono diversi ascensori nella hall ed è facile perdersi. La qualità della colazione è nella media, a parte il prezzo elevato, tutto il resto è soddisfacente.
