Hotel a 5 stelle in Liaoning, Cina

Questo Shangri-La non ha l'iconico odore di aroma nella hall. E durante il nostro soggiorno di 2N, abbiamo notato che non hanno l'iconico odore! Che delusione. La ragazza della reception è professionale ma il servizio è senza sorriso. Molto robotico. Abbiamo visitato la lounge della hall e siamo stati serviti da questa cameriera che sta solo facendo il suo lavoro, non è amichevole. La colazione è fantastica, lo standard di Shang. La camera è vecchia e ha un disperato bisogno di un lifting. Ben lontano dagli altri Shang che ho visitato.

Alloggiare all'hotel di Wanda, l'esperienza è buona. Ha bisogno di una stanza tranquilla prima di chiamare. Quando arriva il direttore ha organizzato la sua visita. Grazie mille. La camera era pulita, confortevole e ben attrezzata, ma non veniva fornito il pettine. Il personale è gentile e disponibile nell'impostazione del wifi. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE. Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome.

We had an incredible stay with our family of 5. The rooms were very big and accommodating, clean and well serviced. The rooms were stunning and the staff were beyond helpful and very caring to our needs. Will definitely return. Liu Liu and Ting Ting were very helpful at reception answering questions and speaking with us in English which was lovely. Highly recommend if visiting Jinzhou.

The stay was enjoyable. Although the hotel is somewhat dated, it is clean and well maintained, with good service throughout. It is one of the few in the area that offers a swimming pool, which is a nice bonus. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated being upgraded to a higher floor upon request. Breakfast includes both Chinese and Western options, but it is fairly ordinary in quality. The location is convenient—about 300 metres from Anton Old Street and next to Wanda Plaza. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We definitely stay again.

La colazione è stata fantastica. È proprio davanti alla stazione della metropolitana e potevo andare al teatro opposto, che ha funzionato molto bene mentre ero lì per un concerto. Non avevo tempo per usare le fantastiche strutture fitness. Mi piacerebbe rimanere di nuovo.

I was impressed with this hotel. I thought the steam room and hot/cold tubs were excellent. A treat during the winter time. Room was super clean and the Beds were comfortable. Very quiet at night. Breakfast caters to Asian tastes but I quite liked it. Coffee was excellent.
