Regno Unito: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di West Yorkshire

All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly during my stay which added to the experience. The hotel is truly lovely and the setting is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and the views from the rooms and bar were amazing but it’s the high level of customer service that makes me want to return and recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Wakefield.

It was a lovely hotel very clean rooms, comfy bed.  However remember to book your breakfast the night before otherwise it cost £17 per person instead of £14 ( was a bit of a kick in the teeth) buffet style breakfast so food wasn’t particularly hot and we were waiting around for lots of items to be replenished even though it wasn’t to busy.  Big queue for the coffee machine as one was broken so only one working.  Upon check out don’t forget to enter your car Reg if you had parked in the Docklands car park where you get a discount.  All in all a pleasant stay in a great location

This was mine & my daughter’s second visit to the hotel, the first time was excellent on all counts.  This time sadly the breakfast wasn’t very good, the sausages, eggs & hash browns were luke warm & tasted like they had been sat there for quite a while, so we ended up leaving that food.  Also, sadly, the two coffee machines were out of order so we just had to have instant coffee. Our room was lovely & spacious though & the reception staff were nice & friendly.  The hotel is in a good location for walking into the city centre.

Good front office team and very helpful throughout my stay. I accidentally left my suit behind, and I hope they will kindly arrange to send it back, as I have already organised the postage. Overall, a really good team. A special mention to the chef in the kitchen, who clearly enjoys looking after guests and making sure everyone is well fed. Great service and a lovely team.

Great location,very quiet peaceful area beautiful room and very clean I lived it . But my stay would have been better if everything had gone smoothly I Just had a problem with the hotel asking for a deposit and not accepting cash for it , I do understand policies are different but after a 12hour flight plus 3 hour train ride all I needed was to get my room and rest but I had to sit for over 20 plus minutes trying to figure out what to do with my situation.I suggest they should be more accommodating and attentive to different situations and customers circumstances rather than just saying we don’t accept this and not willing to find a solution to help. Later on after about 30 minutes or so a very nice friendly manager came to my rescue and found a solution .which could have been done in the first place than having a customer wait for long because someone else is not willing to budge and understand a situation and find a solution.

Ho fatto il check-in alle 21:00 del 01/05/26, quando sono arrivato in hotel. Ci sono due receptionist che mi hanno chiesto un sacco di cose, tipo se avevo un'auto e se dovevo lasciare 1,01 sterline come deposito. Poi mi hanno dato un foglio che ho dovuto guardare 3 volte con il mio nome e il mio indirizzo email. Ma... c'era un altro cliente con un'altra receptionist, dopo il deposito gli hanno dato la chiave per andare subito in camera. Quindi ho chiesto alla receptionist di spiegarmi perché non dovevano firmare nulla. Perché mi trattavano diversamente????? Ho chiesto alla receptionist di servirmi, ma un'altra receptionist mi ha detto che quello che faceva con l'ospite non aveva niente a che fare con me. E si è comportata in modo poco educato con me. Poi ha chiamato il suo ospite per farsi firmare un foglio, così ho detto alla receptionist che mi serviva ancora che avevo il diritto di chiedere perché avevo ricevuto un servizio diverso, avevo già pagato loro e non avevo un'auto, quindi hanno ricevuto subito la chiave ma solo la mia. Se non lo dico, un'altra reception non porterà la carta da firmare. Non mi dispiace, ma mi chiedo se ci sia un'ingiustizia. Mi chiedo solo se sia così, quindi chiedo gentilmente, ma un'altra receptionist non è molto gentile con me. Questa è la prima volta che vengo in questo hotel. Sono stato in tutto il mondo, questa prima volta sono rimasto molto deluso dalle receptionist e ho chiesto una camera lontana dall'ascensore, ma mi hanno dato una camera molto vicina. La camera era pulita e i servizi erano perfetti. Solo la receptionist alla reception mi ha già rifiutato. Sono stato in molti Hilton in tutto il mondo, viaggio molto, questa è la prima volta che ricevo un servizio scadente dalla receptionist. Si sono presentati molto bene 👍👍👍👍

Ho fatto la prenotazione al 12-07 arrivando a circa 3-15 - 3-30 e avevo richiesto un modulo aggiuntivo ma è stato detto che questo non era possibile perché avevo fatto la prenotazione tardiva e la ricezione non aveva alcun!! Sono cabine forestali e avrei dovuto pensare che si trattasse di una richiesta comune e di un'ulteriore scheda disponibile facilmente. La cabina è stata riscaldata da un riscaldatore elettrico mobile che ha richiesto ore per riscaldare la cabina. Le porte erano chiuse con difficoltà, probabilmente a causa di pitture ripetute, e le maniche di metallo erano dipinte; la porta esterna non si chiuse dall'interno. Non c'era posto dove stare in cabina, non c'era superficie libera per impostare le cose come l'unica superficie adatto, un desk, aveva una TV in piedi liberi su di essa; c'era un guardaroba, ma si scioglieva disgustosa. Il cibo era buono, ma il servizio era lento perché il ristorante sembrava sottoscritto con il barista di te che aiutava come cameriere. La struttura è bella e il personale è molto piacevole.

The hotel itself was excellent and well appointed for our purposes. I would definitely book to stay again. Particularly convenient for Temple Newsam park where we were attending Slam Dunk festival, and for M1 access. The only issue was checking in, where the hotel only had one room listed under the booking reference although all my paperwork confirmed I had booked and paid for two. On a full weekend, it was disconcerting. After a lot of head scratching, they noted there was another room booking made 1 minute after the one they could find, that didn't have a name attached. Not sure if this was an issue with trip.com or Ramada systems, but it did cause inconvenience and stress to both us and the staff trying to check us in. Perhaps this issue could be looked at please?

Il mio ragazzo e io ci siamo trasferiti per due notti per le feste di San Valentino. Ci siamo divertiti molto nel complesso, il personale era molto amichevole e utile, l'hotel e le camere erano molto pulite e avevano tutte le attrezzature necessarie. Quando siamo andati via, siamo riusciti a lasciare il nostro bagaglio per solo 1 sterlina una valigia che era molto conveniente. Per il prezzo ho pensato che il cibo era di buona qualità, ma se stai cercando più di un colazione cucinato non è questo il posto. La posizione era molto accessibile e potevamo camminare facilmente ovunque, ma è diventato molto rumoroso da circa 5 al mattino.
