An overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement. Pros: - Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight. - Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar. - The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner. - Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info). - Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants. - Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part. Cons: - The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments. - New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable. - A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning. Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.

Great stay with excellent service I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Amman and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The reception team were efficient at both check-in and check-out, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free. The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, offering a great blend of modern amenities and a relaxing ambience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding, which ensured a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job of maintaining the room throughout my stay. Dining at the hotel was also a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff were courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is another strong point - convenient for both business and leisure travellers. In addition, the facilities, including the fitness centre and swimming pool, were well maintained and added to the overall positive experience. Overall, the Mövenpick Hotel Amman is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. With its exceptional service, comfortable accommodation and convenient location, it certainly lives up to the Mövenpick standard. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

We stayed in four different five-star hotels during our Jordan trip, and if I come back to Amman—or recommend a hotel to friends—it would definitely be W Hotel. The breakfast is amazing, with an impressive setting and creative staff who even made waffles for me! The entire team is professional, friendly, and attentive. Bonus: all the boys working there, even in the parking, are young, handsome, and eye-catching—definitely a fun touch! lol

Right from check-in, the staff made me feel welcome with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie 🍪 — such a simple touch, but it set the tone for a great stay. 🛏️ The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy after a long day, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful. 🍽️ I had the chance to try the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of local and international choices. Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to start the day right. 📍 The location is convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and a good base to explore Amman. Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff stood out. L'hotel ha una posizione decente con parecchi bar e negozi nelle vicinanze. L'hotel stesso dispone anche di un ristorante e di un bar. Siamo stati qui per due notti separate per facilitare il nostro viaggio a Petra e Wadi Rum e in un'occasione abbiamo prenotato una camera doppia e una camera doppia superior. Valeva la pena spendere un po' di più per la camera superior perché aveva una zona soggiorno separata, un letto più grande e una doccia più grande. Entrambe le camere avevano un mini-frigo e alcuni snack disponibili a prezzi ragionevoli. Eravamo grati che il bar chiudesse a un'ora decente, quindi la camera sarebbe stata silenziosa, ma abbiamo scoperto che i letti non erano così comodi. Ci sono alcuni elementi che potrebbero essere migliorati, ma abbiamo ritenuto di aver trascorso un soggiorno decente dato che era solo un posto dove dormire.

The location is good. The hotel locate in the department store. It is very easy to find something to eat and in front of the hotel there are many shop and restaurant. The staff is nice. The room is clean with all amenities.

El hotel estaba fenomenal, las habitaciones eran muy grandes y limpias, la cama era de lo más cómoda. El servicio de la piscina no podía ser mejor, y la comida del hotel buenísima, el bar de la terraza estaba fenomenal, 100% recomendado. Volvería con los ojos cerrados. Los findes hacen fiestas en la piscina por el día, tanto para niños como para adultos, con Dj incluido. Y con mucha seguridad, por lo que te sientes como en casa.
