XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address.
The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures.
The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach.
If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there.
The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better.
On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day.
Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.

UUtente ospiteThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second,
upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.

UUtente ospiteI couldn't believe how nice this hotel is and how well designed the rooms are to provide so much in such a compact space. The renovations look great, and everything is very clean and smells pleasant everywhere. It was great to have a PIN to enter so I have no key to worry about losing/locking myself out and no check out needed; the private bathroom was wonderful (and a delightful surprise in a Japanese hotel given the limited space); the room has many outlets in excellent locations, the connection to the TV’s HDMI port is conveniently right on the wall with the outlets, the room includes a kettle, a fridge, a hair straightener, a hair dryer, cups, hangers, an aromatic spray, an air purifier/humidifier, air conditioning, big mirrors, a luggage rack, a flashlight, and a USB cable that has 3 different types of adaptors on the end; they make free soft drinks available to guests between 3 pm AND 9 pm DAILY (and some alcohol at a later time); they have an onsen with natural hot spring water, they have a sauna and as well as contrast (cold/natural temperature water) bath by the onsen, and they provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion; they allow guests to take as many extra pillows as they want or need, and the pillows have different heights and softness to choose from; they have many spaces to relax from an outdoor terrace to dimly lit relaxation room with hammocks and recliners to a bar set up with outlets and wireless charging; they have coin laundry and dryer available (but they provide detergent free), they have free pajamas available to borrow, they have razors and toothbrushes available, and they give you gifts if you don’t need cleaning on days of consecutive stay plus gifts if you don’t use up their toothbrush that they leave out for free in your room... it really did not feel like anything was lacking. And to top it off, all of the staff are very kind and friendly. I also am big about reducing waste, and I appreciate the initiatives they are taking at their hotel. The only thing I didn't try was their food, since it cost extra to have the breakfast. I did however discover my favourite Japanese drink from their free soft drinks (カルピスメロン) and since leaving the hotel, trying to find it in convenience stores and vending machines has proven difficult. Overall I had an amazing experience and would gladly stay here any time.

UUtente ospiteWaldorf ha impostato il tono per l'intero hotel di lusso a Osaka, merita il più alto premio. Dalla partenza dell'auto all'entrata dell'hotel, l'esperienza emotiva è inesistente. Quando si raggiunge la zona di accoglienza, le tolette e il tè sono la prima cosa che si trova che lo mette lontano da altri hotel di lusso. Questa attenzione ai dettagli è così pensativa; dimostra quanto comprendono che dopo il trasporto i viaggiatori possono svolgere un rituale di lavaggio delle mani, che rappresenta non solo la pulizia fisica, ma anche un ricordo del benessere mentale. L'unica suggerimento che potrei fare è che se qualcuno si siede durante l'ispezione sarebbe meglio di stare al servizio di ricezione. Altri membri del personale che hanno lasciato un'impressione profonda includono Yui e una ragazza che ci ha mostrato nella nostra stanza (non ricordo il suo nome, ma ricordo che mi ha insegnato che Yui si chiama Y e I; lei era tutti sorridente, in spiriti alti, Il nostro ritorno all'hotel, molto tardi, ci ha portato al bar vicino all'ingresso posteriore per bere. Il barista era molto attento e il bevanda benvenuta era delizioso. Poiché il nostro prossimo destino era relativamente vicino all'hotel, il personale all'ingresso (lo dimenticavo, ma ricordo che era breve e aveva braccialetti; il suo spettacolo era perfetto quel giorno) ha organizzato un'auto dell'hotel per scortarci lì. Il conducente era italiano, molto professionale, e aveva un'ottima atteggiamento. Le parole di gratitudine non sono sufficienti per lodare questo eccellente conducente. Se il punteggio massimo di un hotel è 5, gli darei un 6. In verità, esso rappresenta l'immagine di un hotel di lusso e lo consiglierei a chiunque. Sono certamente tornato sul mio prossimo viaggio. KklamlamTutto è molto bello, pulito e nuovo. Il problema principale della camera familiare è che il letto a castello è troppo corto (circa 1,6 m di lunghezza). Dato che ho un bambino piccolo, il bambino più piccolo non può dormire da solo nel letto a castello, quindi il padre e il bambino più piccolo dormono nel letto king size, ed è troppo corto perché la madre (alta 1,65 m) possa dormire nel letto a castello. Inoltre, il letto king size non è abbastanza grande per farci dormire insieme in 3, ed è un po' corto anche per il padre alto. Non è lungo 2 m, non è una dimensione normale di letto king size. A proposito, è un hotel molto carino e il personale è molto cortese e gentile, se ha camere comunicanti con letti singoli di dimensioni normali, sceglierò di nuovo questo hotel.

UUtente ospiteI got a sleep score of 93. That says it all. Great hotel with amazing sleep comfort. Super central location in Osaka. I managed to use both their gym and pool facilities which are great. Actually, for a hotel, I was quite surprised with the how nice the gym is.
The hotel seems to have many visitors a day and service is impeccable and keeps things flowing very smoothly.

The hotel is modern, clean, with great facilities. I especially appreciated the gym and sauna, which made it easy to relax and unwind. It’s also very convenient to have a laundry room and even an ice machine available.
The location is excellent, and everything feels well thought out. My room was comfortable and practical, with nice details that made the stay enjoyable.
Overall, a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely come back again.

I do not recommend the Michelin star restaurant breakfast buffet very good. I would not come here again, but if you are into old vintage settings then this is for you, still giving up five stars but no comparison to the four seasons

MMakAnjUn luogo molto conveniente per soggiornare, situato a soli 3–5 minuti a piedi dal Terminal 1. Le strutture sono progettate con pensiero per i viaggiatori, soprattutto i viaggiatori interni, che è perfetto per alleviare la fatica di viaggio dopo un lungo volo. Vale la pena notare che il servizio di lavaggio delle monete non è più disponibile, ma il comfort e la comodità dell'hotel è più che componente.
